Hey Mitch. Watching your video reminded me of my time in the San Joaquin County jail fighting a 55 to life case (murder 1 + enhancements) . After spending my 2nd Christmas and birthday locked up, I noticed how I would get annoyed super quick with guys that were short. That's why only spent time with guys fighting life sentences. Luckily for me, after a 2 week trial, I was found not guilty on 4/7/2011. Apparently California DOES have a self defense/defense of others law. Unfortunately, a quick Google search of my name makes it hard to find a job because no one wants to hire a killer. Great channel and I'll be ordering some merch this weekend. Keep doing it hard my brother 💪

That was a hard one to watch bro, cause I knew an 18 or 21 year old kid who don't know which way is up are the prime targets of these punks. For people new to this channel I think it was the "Woods wanna get you" . I ain't gonna ruin the story but it was raw and heart wrenching bro, and to think this goes on and guys turn their heads makes it an even more powerful example of why men must exist the way you did in the system. Im a chill dude anyway and most times the old dudes always gravitated to me or vice versa. They live and die by respect and it made me a better man and made me learn to respect others and their space. Great video as always. I find the mental aspects of doing a lot of time the most interesting part you talked about. Especially the sense of hopelessness and how people cope with it. That might be even more scary than the physical dangers. If a tough guy like you was feeling that way I can't imagine how the average person would feel if they were sentenced to a long term. Stay strong OG. Like the stories. I'm of the same mindset like yours. I grew up around alot of made people here in Texas Mexican amd White.. I couldn't escape it they were with two of my aunt's. . Most are doing life or in feds. They were killers, I'm not. I was that guy always preaching peace. My first time down I had 5yrs and went to minimum and assaulted guard and was sent to Beto 1 here in Texas early 90s when it was really bad. Alot of killing going on. I went through the woodchecks, heart check on both min and medium . After I made it through the backdoors fighting 3 people 1 after another. Then fought a big ass enforcer and made it through that someone said give him his card. I can't and won't say names. That don't mean shit . Then a certain group wanted to prospect me. I politely said no, they said if it jump off in here you gotta jump with us. Really after that I don't think they liked that I didn't want to join Glad I didn't. I had no problem with that. So i was solo but allowed to sit with them. Fuck I had 5yrs i didn't want to get life, plus I didn't want to be under there rules. Shit in Houston I went in whatever hood I wanted black, white, Mexican. I never reached out to my family members to ask for a pass either. Was offered one by a shot caller in ad seg who just came out the Feds Leavenworth. I said no I had to go through it just like everyone else. He was trying to show me his paperwork. I told him I don't care about that and it didn't impress me. I been around people like him. He got angry with me and said boy you don't know who your talking to. He had me pulled out of my cell on his one hour rec. I was like wtf I thought I was done for cause when He first arrived I remember hearing him saying if they ever let him out He was going to cut some heads off cause shit wasn't being run right. He asked me who my people was and I said I don't name drop. I saw his patch and told him and I told him to run the information he laughed and said he knew them. I told him I don't want that life that one day God is gonna use me. So he encouraged me to do my time, do my woodchecks and stay in my lane and don't come back. Well thank you families and you know who you are. I know I was reckless and crazy wild. I know I didn't lead a charmed life and i wasn't lucky. I know I had people speak for me behind the scenes even from Cali. Always love and respect. Prayers up for everyone I know still in the cage.

Yep, my mind is blown over how much things have changed in some of these prisons. There was something really wrong going on in the late 90's & early 20's. My husband was still a youngster when he went to Soledad (or was it Solano?). He's already been to Jamestown and, of course, DVI. He told me when he first got there, the warden pulled him off to the side and gave him a stern warning. He said "I know you're from Modesto. I got so many hundred child molesters and other special inmates here and we protect everyone of them. If anything happens to any of them, I coming for you". Wow. Fast forward, three weeks to the pad, his four year old son and I are excited and preparing for his homecoming. He calls me totally deflated and bummed out. I said "what's wrong?" He says "They want me to handle something, what should I do?" I said "what? GTFO, are you f ing serious right now?" "You mean to tell me that your days away from coming home and now you're going to have to lock it up because some little punks are running their mouths? So, that's how they get down now?" Yep. My brother was in Corcoran at the time and I knew he would blow a gasket when he heard about that. He still has an original "B" number. What kind of funny style BS was that, anyways? I'm calling shenanigans. I've been paying attention every since.

Been out a minute now 27 yrs and did a geographical change by going from the concrete jungle and sub cultural lifestyle to a farm and nature lovin' fool out on the Prairies . New circle of folks and maturity helped me understand what I needed to do to get with the free world program . Hell I took my first gig as Hot Tar roofer and I'm still going hard at it on the roof ,got my red-seal and good pay... hard labor payback I spose' . Anyways thanks for being YOU !💯 L&R

But any way was curious when CDC came down on all the restrictions such as the no iron. tobacco, heavy time for tatooing when we would just get a 115 or write up?
Most all convicts I know that thought they were a badass. Those were the ones that I didn't give a fuck about because most of them had no fucking idea how to fight.

He put it in deep with a guitar e string and Indian ink and a homemade gun. Shit! It was a crazy time then in prison. I got shot with a bean bag running across the yard in a riot. Hit me in the chest and knocked me backwards on my back. Fuck I thought I was going to die. It will make a man out of you if it doesn't kill you first. We had two riots in one year with the blacks. The AB didn't want to deal with the Bloods and Crips...So kick their asses the guards don't give a fuck about the blacks. There wasn't one black guard in 1973.

@@HARDINTENTIONS I found out the hard way at 22. Prison here in Nevada was no fucking game. I have one tat from that trip and my brother did it. It still looks good for being there since 1973. He put it in deep with a guitar e string and Indian ink and a homemade gun. Shit! It was a crazy time then in prison. I got shot with a bean bag running across the yard in a riot. Hit me in the chest and knocked me backwards on my back. Fuck I thought I was going to die. It will make a man out of you if it doesn't kill you first. We had two riots in one year with the blacks. The AB didn't want to deal with the Bloods and Crips...So kick their asses the guards don't give a fuck about the blacks. There wasn't one black guard in 1973.
