The guitarist and fiddler blew my mind and can we also note what a splendid job the videographer did of capturing each player during their solos and highlights! His (or her) timing was impeccable! I saw a show on Diana’s 2013 tour and loved it. I believe she’d recently released the Glad Rag Doll album and played several songs from it. Since the flavor of those 1920s and 30s songs is different from her Great American Songbook ‘hits,’ some audience members that night got impatient and yelled requests for the familiar songs she’d been playing for 15+ years. Too bad if they are too narrow minded to let the artist try different things. Diana and her refigured band played excellently - as they did here. Glad this audience was more appreciative.
back from when she loved touring. I saw this tour in Paris. Excellent. I saw her this summer (2024) in Gent Jazz and was disappointed. It looked like she was there very much against her will.

She used to regularly play at jazz at the LACMA.. on Fridays by the lights sculpture... on Wilshire, the pandemic pretty much closed that down.. along with most of the free concerts in Los Angeles.. You used to be able to get free music pretty much six or seven days of the week ... picnic in the park...BYOB.. eclectic group of fans ... hanging out on their lawn chairs ...Laxvespa-LosAngeles

Krall is a great entertainer, and I have enjoyed the concerts I have attended and seen on video. I love the music she picks, and the musicians she surrounds herself with, but I cannot understand why she gets such rave comments for her actual singing. She would be a good bluesy singer, having a thick and slightly husky character, but her voice quality is second tier in comparison to the best jazz singers that have ever recorded, and there are a number of her contemporaries that are better singers as well.
When I said about you being able to do this it strikes me because I can’t imagine myself being able to do what you do all the people..anyway I have trouble because I don’t realize I do it but I think people just know what I’m saying..many times they don’t besides I needed to say hi again.

They are sending me stuff saying I have to stop talking to you..that you are with someone. I don’t know who is sending it but you can imagine how that will fly with me! Your or I are the only ones that will send me away. If they have anything on you they will use it..that’s the problem with” the group”I don’t see that we’ve done anything wrong and you have helped me a lot just being there for me. I played with Taylor for years and she was all over the place as well as probably hooked up if you understand. They finally ran me away from her even though I maybe could have helped her and tried.I’ll tell you a lot of people want to meet me- it feels like a lot to me- but the one thing I won’t put up with when I’m with someone is them cheating if they get mad. I lived with that with her, next time even if there are kids ..I won’t stay..I learned that lesson the hard way. By the way I LOVE THIS CONCERT 💜🦓💜 Hi from me today🦓🌹
The reason I am telling you what I see is in case any of your help is withholding info etc. It’s hard to tell so many are involved. They may have involved you thinking you would provide cover. Please take care of your family..all of them. These people are void of a heart. Is there some way you can send me your interview with the guy hat had you for only 20 minutes, had a q on his wall. I like that one and don’t know how to make it come to me.
I’ve noticed several of my posts to you have disappeared..the one I wrote here about watching your back is one. I guess they will snatch me up soon. Maybe the next day or two. May be it’s just me, but it’s the typical character of her music that I had become accustomed to. I feel like her music has been influenced quite a bit by her husband’s music. Not sure I liked it….

Check out the gut strings on the bass. The fiddle player gets this awesome trombone kinda sound. What a great band, and well... Diana!
