The Eaton and the Palisades Fire were spread by 80 mph winds. It wasn’t a matter of disorganization, it was a matter of extreme weather conditions. Those two fires were firestorms. Would more firefighters 18:35 have helped? Possibly,but when embers are carried on strong winds after 8 months of no rain, it’s just the perfect storm for the disasters that we witnessed. The winds died down for a day or two, then returned, hence the rapid spread of the Hughes Fire. My family has lived in the Eaton Fire area since the late 1800’s. My grandparents are buried in Altadena, so is my father, in all my years in SoCal, I have never seen such strong winds for a sustained period of time.

If no one lived there, Mother Nature could hit that area with a lightning strike and same result. So man must clear the brush and be ready with water! God bless all who have lost everything.

There is no such thing as mother nature. It is written..."The LORD has established His throne in the Heavens and HIS Sovereignty rules over ALL".
poor forestry management practices and lack of fuel management caused this. climate change brought increased winds, higher temperatures and drought. natural fires are small and happen semi-often. putting them out increases fuel load and increases the chances of these massive, unnatural fires
