This looks really good! It would be nice to know how I could apply this technique to stretched canvas, for example, and it would be nice to know exactly what props you used.
Thank you ☺️ I used acrylic paint on a Gelli plate and ordinary tissue paper, a grey sharpie and black and white pastel pencils. I took the print on printer paper but it would have been better on thin card. I think it would have to be a smooth canvas to print cleanly and you would need to be able to rub it down well from the back I would also leave it to dry before pulling the print. Hope this helps 👍
I believe the sharpie was on the paper image … NOT on the plate? Although sharpie marks Can be made directly on the plate ….. but that wasnt the case here

I tried this and even being totally new, it turned out beautiful! So often when people say something is simple it’s like, yeah, for you maybe. You are just incredible at taking the simplest materials and path to a really original work of art. Of course, not so original now that we’re all anxiously awaiting your next masterpiece to copy, 😂. @ hi, yes you are right I didn’t use the sharpie directly on the plate with this print but they can be used directly on the plate with great results
