    When Cascade control will give improved performance than conventional feedback control..

      Cascade or feedforward control generally improves the performance when you can directly measure a disturbance and take immediate action to reject that disturbance versus wait for the disturbance to affect the primary control loop PV.       "Primary" and "Secondary" are commonly used in practice and are good alternatives for "Master" and "Slave" controller, especially when "Master", "Slave" have a negative history outside of process control.

      @@apm i figured it was because of that . i also find it weird saying the word slave when i see it in this type of work
