Worst fragrance for me is Invictus. Sickening sour dishrag smell that is not only in Invictus but in so many other men's scents. Can't believe anyone could enjoy that.
After enjoying a sample of Cedrat Boise I had purchased a sample set of 8 other popular Mancera fragrances... and they became my least favorite fragrances ever. I would have rather never smelled them, than owning that sample set.
I personally adore Feve Delicieuse on my skin, as it comes across sweet gourmand and powdery, with soft lavender. But I can understand that it may not suit everyone’s skin, as it can get a bit herbal.
It’s so interesting how different we all are in our preferences. I loathe Delina and almost everything that I’ve smelled from Montale (sampled 9 so far). I think I really don’t like a thick, jammy rose, especially if it’s got oud facets. I do love a lighter rose, though; Stella was my signature scent for several years.
I just tested the 3 Delinas side by side last night and none of them work with my chemistry. Original is too sour, La Rosée is too sharp, and Exclusif straight up smells like cheap cigarettes and musk, lol
This was the funniest video ever! I loved seeing those comments and hearing bad reactions. I laughed so hard. I completely understand the pain and horror, as I know the "running to the toilet and almost vomiting feeling " ....the things we go through for fragrances!!
I am one of those people who fall into the camp of BR540 smelling like burnt latex and exhaust. I smell no sweetness or any notes everyone else seems to wax poetic about. Interestingly enough, Cloud and Burberry Her also smell like burnt latex and exhaust, so I can confirm for non-fans of BR540 that they are good dupes lol. I find I don't enjoy a lot of Kurkdjian scents (although one of his is my signature scent), so I usually prefer to buy a decant and test them out a few times before buying a full sized bottle. I really dislike sweet jammy rose scents, and it's in the DNA of many of his fragrances. I've been pretty good with blind buys but one that had great reviews but just turned my stomach was Rasasi Daarej. A close second is Glossier You, way too sweet and powdery.
Moschino's "Toy Boy" is absolutely delicious and is one of my faves. Every single time that I wear it to an event....I get constant compliments from multiple people. Never fails.
I am fascinated how differently people find scents - hilarious! I really like the Nirvana line, didn't try the rose one since i really don't like rose, but I think you should try my 3 favs: Amethyst - a pretty tobacco scent, French Grey - clean relaxing neroli lavender musk, Bourbon - a woody vanilla
I just really can't do citrusy fragrances- I've tried. I have bought and decluttered Sun Song by LV, Sundrunk by Imaginary authors, CKN2U, Liquid Sun by Thalia Sodi...I keep trying them and then getting rid of them...LOL! Now, there can be citrus in the opening but a citrus-centered fragrance smells like Pine Sol to me! Lol.. But, I dont do light, airy bright fragrances very much...I prefer the dark, rich, opulent perfumes- even Nirvana Rose..LOL!
Oh my gosh, green fragrances and I are best friends! APSU by U Lang, MONSTERA by Xinu, SIGNATURE by Aèdes de Venustas are my 3 full-bottle worthy green scents. I have so many samples to test so next spring I might discover some more!
I’ve worn BDK’s Velvet Tonka today and it pissed me right off! There are no notes to my nose, it smells only of cheap marzipan. A perfume has never made me angry before..! It even gave me a headache and I never get headaches! Huge letdown and I’ll never wear it again.
I really love Nirvana Bourbon from Elizabeth & James. It is a bit linear but great scent for the price. I believe the whole line is being discontinued but a lot of discounters have them at great deals.
Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune was one of my worst blind buys. I usually enjoy citrus smells but this was an Ammonia bomb! I read that one of the notes cassis can have a strong Ammonia (cat pee) smell. I have had cat's and yes that is exactly what I pinpoint in this fragrance. I think the note of cassis especially is offensive to my nose. I can pick it out almost immediately in any fragrance.
I just got my sample of Akro Smoke today and I'm wearing it right now. Searched for a smokey scent. It got a nice smoke, got no problem with that, but I don't get any juniper resins wich I love and its getting to sweet and Tonka'ish for me. I really love Akro Ink though! A great different take on Vetiver. My favourite smokey Scent still is Gucci - Guilty Absolute and Le Labo - Patchouli.
Is it in the corporate bylaws of Montale & Mancera that rose must be in 95% of their fragrances? I can understand the frustration. I love Black Orchid, but migraines after 5 min. Luna Rossa & BDC are good, but too much ambroxan makes me nauseous.
I recently smelled TF Soleil Blanc and it smells very much like KKWs Body II. I thought it would have been a better fragrance being TF, but KKW smelled better, expected more from TF
I think of the ones that were mentioned, I agree the most with synthetic jungle. I was not a fan of that one. But, I may need to revisit it, since I experienced it at the beginning of my fragrance journey.
One of the worst fragrances in my opinion would be (Platinum) Egoïst by Chanel. It literally smells like a neglected elderly person with bad hygiene or even urine according to some of my colleagues.
One of the most memorable, and gut wrenching fragrances that I’ve tried was ELDO’s Secretions. From a distance, it’s ok, but close up, the fragrance just makes me feel like retching. I couldn’t scrub it off fast enough.
This is the intention, though. The fragrance is supposed to do this. I’d call it a masterpiece, considering how successfully it achieves what it sets out to do.
I actually like Synthetic Jungle, but ironically I don't feel it has the value because Diptyque L'ombre Dans L'eau has a similar (but imo better) profile at a much lower cost. Sisley Eau de Campagne is also similar at a fraction of the cost. In terms of my worst, it's not necessarily the worst scent I've ever tried but I'd pick Mango Skin from Vilhelm. Vilhelm is my favorite house and even things that I don't personally want I tend to like and approve of on an objective level. Given Mango Skin's popularity, I skipped the smell test and sprayed it right on my wrist when I saw a tester in store. This was a mistake as it made me immediately nauseated and I had to find an alcoholic wipe to get it off. I can see why other people like the fragrance, but its probably the biggest letdown I've had with any fragrance given that I'm normally very picky and skeptical but walked into this with high expectations.
I really don't "Hate" any fragrance, I just dislike some, but not to the point of really hating them, it's more an internal trigger by the scent that makes you like or dislike a fragrance IMO. In general I gravitate more to niche because I find more substance than in the everyday designer fragrances, designer's are not bad at all, just doesn't makes me feel the way niche compositions do. The only one that I "hate" is Sauvage, but because it burns my nostrils, and to me, the scent is a modernized cliche of how a male fragrance should smell, but it's just my opinion. Great video, is good to hear different points of view, thank you Sebastian!!!
A recent worst for me is Ellis Brooklyn Bee. It's supposed to be a honey scent, but I get the same scent of the skin yeast infection my childhood dog had. I can only liken it it rancid honey cough drops.
Lhomme ideal extreme is so loud on me and lasts all day! I don't have good skin for longevity or projection either 😃 It's very interesting how we're all so different
Hate is such a strong word. I always take fragrance opinions with a grain of salt because scents are sooooo subjective and body chemistry specific. Hahaha That said, I love a few of the fragrance review channels.
Imagine that some people have headaches and get nauseous with some fragrances isn’t just bad smell 😅 some times that happened to me, and there are some fragrance that smell like someone come out of a marathon and days without a shower that is on a lot of men fragrances
Sometimes fragrances simply don't work with one's skin chemistry. My daughter & I have had a number of popular fragrances dry down to "rest home", pee, "stale saliva" and in the case of Lune Feline that we were so excited about, medicinal hospital bandages. I'm a firm believer in try before you buy whenever possible. 😀
I was so excited for Lune Feline after listening to the hype, thankfully I only got a sample…I have never recoiled so hard, it actually turned my stomach…..hard no for me…
I’m smiling because I have or love a bunch of these fragrances! Like Fève délicieuse, Le Lion, Synthetic jungle… I’m really into green perfumes since a while. My all time favorite is number 19 but a good vintage one! I don’t like to hear “it’s smells like a grand-ma”. No, it’s smells vintage, old fashion but this is too pejorative and some grand-ma smell fabulous! There is one perfume that is very hyped but that I don’t appreciate, at least on my skin, it is Rosendo Mateu 5. There is a vibe of burnt rubber that sticks to my nose 😣 Well, thank you for this video, great idea!
Two of my TOP5 are here, and they're Le Lion and Smoke! I laughed hard when I saw Le Lion as first pick tho! :D Thanks for introducing me to Akro, can't wait to test rest of their offer.
I blind bought Feve from the Dior site and one spray on my hand made me feel nauseous. like canned white beans mixed with a horrible nasty medicine from my childhood called "Father Johns". I've never had such a reaction to a frag that I'd had such huge hopes for.
I used to love Kilian love don't be shy but not anymore it's weak and watered down. So I consider worse perfume. Estees Lauder destroyed it and the brand.
I loved A*Men when I first got it, the dry down notes are as heavenly as the name suggests. I think overtime I picked up on the "tar" note that lots of people were talking about. I've met several other men that really enjoy this fragrance though, so I feel it's a very divisive pick..
I’m always struggling with the performance of fragrances, no matter cheap ones or expensive niche. For some reason my skin tends to eat up the scents and in a couple of hours are gone. That’s why I like Mancera juices, they give me the intensity that I need, I have Amber Fever, Fig Ecstasy, Pearl, Juicy Flowers, Kumquat Wood, Purple Flowers and many more… I use them on their own or in combination with other brands just to improve the longevity 😅
It's sad that often , when someone dyslike a perfum he says a "grandma smell" . Its mysognystic and ageist in my opinion. A frangrance that I can't wear is ITALICA from Xerjoff. For me it's cloying from the first seconds.
We aren’t saying it smell like granny literally. Feve for example to me smells like a granny’s perfume from the 1800’s. Then it turns into the smell of a pack of baby pampers…. Ummm… damn… well maybe you are right. Sorry to the grannies and the babies 😮
At 6:40 I am 99% sure that is what I wrote. I have the Thierry Mugler older batches and not the new Mugler version. It is like a punch in the face. It takes probably 4hrs before the craziness tones down and it is still really in your face. It lasts for at least 18hrs on me. One spray will project for hours too. It is so insane.
Byredo Gypsy water - I can see why many people like it, but it’s just so cloying and induces headaches in me. However, once it wears off a bit after 2-3 hours, it’s a really nice smell. I think I just don’t like the combo of citrus and vanilla. My other fragrance is: Glossier You - has a massive fan base and it smells very comforting and amazing in the bottle, BUT it has zero projection. As soon as I spray it on, I can’t smell it on myself. It’s meant to smell like clean skin, so maybe that’s why?
I tried Montale Dark Vanilla yesterday and it smelled like bbq smoke, which reminded me of food. My skin is just amping the smoke to an acrid degree. It’s the first Montale I have tried and I’m a vanilla fiend, so I was really excited for this one! I’m not turned off by the house as a result though; they have a zillion fragrances.
I hate Kenzo Jungle, but I love love the bottle. I liked Nirvana Rose at first, liked it a lot till I took with me on a 6 day camping trip and got so sick of it that even thinking about makes want a shower with Irish Spring. I think I hate that one now. For whatever reason, I don’t like some houses … Mancera, Montal and Bond 9 … I don’t even know the perfumes… it’s just something about the company that turned me off. And there’s Le Labo which I want to like..but there perfumes seem unfinished to me… the frustrate me (except the Iris 39 and Musc 25). That’s a lot of hate…sorry.
I can't stand JHAG not a perfume SUPERDOSE. I've tried to make it work with other fragrances (i.e. , extending their performance) but the burnt rubber smell of it always comes through. Is there any way I can use it to extend other fragrances' performance without having to smell the overpowering cetalox?
This is no help but it smells like straight up rubbing alcohol to me and I absolutely hated it and couldn't wait for it to leave my skin (that took 48 hrs even with an alcohol wipe, soap, and water)
I actually purchased synthetic jungle for Christmas last year. It was a blind buy based off of your review! I am happy with it because I like green fragrances, but I have to be honest; it is not my favorite. I think my favorite fragrance that includes basil is Basilico and Fellini from Vilhelm. There is a juiciness that balances the basil and the grass. I believe it is dragon fruit and fig. I personally find it addicting where as I do not with synthetic jungle. I will say in general FM fragrances are very polarizing. My mother despises the brand. I happen to own 14😂
I am very interested in the Dior. My issue with that is I want patchouli imperial, eau noir, mitzah and the cashmire as well! I have ambre nuit and oud is already. Is there a fragments I didn't mention I should look into ? What about the new tobacco one?
I really dislike Intense Café by Montale. I blind bought it and when I sampled the rose was too much! I wanted more coffee but I should have gone with the Ristretto version, I think. I also despise the musks used in all Narciso Rodriquez fragrances, just can’t stand’em. Lastly, Tank Battle from LUSH -smelled like root beer, bubble gum, and dirt. ECK! 😝
The original Dior Poison literally made me ill. Never have learned which note caused the problem. A Nurse I worked with closely wore it to the max - don't know how I stood it :)
I purchased Nirvana Rose after testing it in Sephora when it was first released so I paid full price for it and I still own it and love it! It’s a lovely musky rose.
For me, it's Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. An instant headache and nause inducer. For a while it seemed everyone was wearing it. When I get a whiff of this I instantly recoil and a feel my stomach roll over. I've read the note list and I get none of them. To me it is an oily, petrol/nail varnish smell mixed with BO. It should be banned under the Geneva Convention.
I adore Le Lion. Although I only wear it when I am alone! Only a scent connoisseur could appreciate it and I don't want to listen to people complaining about it. The fragrence I detest the most is Tea Rose.
Toy boy and Synthetic jungle are fab! The former in particular, embodies an abstraction that's intriguing. The latter surprisingly works great in the outdoors in the depths of winter. And I agree that Mancera is awful. Definitely not for me. I could not even get thru their sample set. Synthetic in a bad chemical sludge way.
I'm overall very versatile with perfumes and I can enjoy most notes and scent categories. But I really dislike true vintage smelling perfumes, like Shalimar and Chanel no 5. Very headache-inducing and old lady-like in a bad way.
This is how different noses pick up different things. The one for me that everyone loves that i hate is tf tobacco vanille. Which on paper should be one of my favorites. But when i put it on its smells off-putting and almost a strong nutmeg note that makes me nauseous
Many of Mancera fragrances I've tried (Cedric Boise is an exception) to me seem a bit to simple, basic, and linear. That's not necessarily if you like that style or like it sometimes.
Thanks for this video Sebastian….and please do more videos like this. One thing i hate? In Love with Everything! I just bought a sample and it smells like air freshener from glade or febreeze, the one you plug in or spray. I thinks its the one with orange color on the package. I will not buy this!
Sebastian, you can quote me on this: In 2020, I bought Paco Rabanne's "1 Million Parfum" without knowing what it's like, and I truly hated it. Luckily, I was able to get a full refund. When I ordered it, I thought that it was going to be like "1 Million EDT" but much greater than that. However, it smelled like a very cheap synthetic leather construction boot. I was very disappointed.
From this list, I love Chanel Le Lion and Tom Ford Soleil Blanc! It has been several years ago since I tried Dior Fève Délicieuse, but I remember that I did not like it at all. Another fragrance that I really can’t stand, although I love many other fragrances from Tom Ford, is Lost Cherry. Definitely NOT for me.
I really, really like FEVE DELICIEUSE, SYNTHETIC JUNGLE:, and PORPORA. My worst blind buy is Chocolate Greedy! Still trying to figure out how to layer it in with fragrances so it's not a total loss! 🤣🤣
I noticed 2 fragrances that have given me a headache and it’s MFK Oud Satin mood extrait and Rocha Amber Aoud. I keep on spraying it on my wrist only just to get my nose trained to Oud.
So disappointed why companies buy good fragrance house and turn it down. My recent buy was Synthetic Jungle and Monsieur according to good reviews but the performance sucks..
90's A*Men kicks ass! That person could maybe give Cuba's Prestige a try if they want something with less patchouli and more synthetic amber. But it retains that opening sparkle of A*Men. I'll admit that I do get a makeup-bag vibe from Feve. Doesn't stop me from wearing it! 😁
Whoever that was that said Le Lion smells like cleaning fluid and the comparison of Patchouli 24 is ridiculous!! Both are bangers!!! The only fragrance I ever bought that I hate is Rich Mess by Ryan Richmond!! Now that is horrendous!! A-Men was the fragrance that started my love affair with Patchouli!!! Porpora is another beautiful scent that’s a Rose and Patchouli bomb!! I actually feel sorry for the people who dislike these fragrances!!! I haven’t bought one Mancera that I don’t love, wear and recommend to newbies crossing over to Niche!!
the A*Men plus a few flankers I tried (and a Alien also) all have something in the drydown (possibly the patchouli) that I don't like. Really turns me off but it's not something I notice on others wearing them. It's one of these smells that it isn't that the scent is awful so much as annoying... if you know what I mean. Cool review.
Interesting concept for a video , but I am not sure what anyone could have against at least 3 here that I love . I think DIOR FEVE DELICIEUSE is great as well as GUERLAIN L'HOMME IDEAL EXTREME what a great tobacco scent especially in the cold of Winter , my performance is great with both . I get a bit why Akro Smoke could be polarizing , but my deal is it settles down too close to Tom Ford TV and IMO you don't need both . I have them both and prefer TV but at the price of Akro it's a great alternative . Cheers Brutha ( PS. yes update the smoky fragrance video )
Le lion? 😮 I can just imagine the sheer horror amongst the fragrance community. Le Lion is highly rated in the groups,I for one, can’t wait to get my nose on it.
@@ObservingtheMatrix Ahh that’s it, lol I need to obtain a sample this evening. I’ve got a sample of bengale rouge on the way and then I’ll make a decision. I just hope I don’t like both before Christmas 🙈
Hi, first time watching your channel. I bought feve for myself based on the notes(blind buy) and promptly gave it to my son. Must have been the lavender, it smelled way better on him than his Mom
Back in the late 1980s, there was a fragrance with a cool purple bottle and a giant marketing campaign behind it. Magazines reeked of the stuff. It was aptly named "Poison". We called it "Poisson", which is French for fish.
Le Lion is described by my husband as ‘me after a day in the garage angle grinding’ . My blotter was so strong and nasty I had to take it outside to the bin.
Soleil Blanc was a dislike to me which led me to the conclusion that I dislike coconut and or beach fragrances. I like Smoke but only after it has dried down
The person talking about the Muggler is talking about the "coffe" note, the og had a stronger note off this rubbery note, fot me the aroma chemical used to counjuring the coffe note dose not smell like coffe.. Its plastic and rubbery
Great video! Whenever I see reviews mentioning cleaning fluid, urinal cakes, baby wipes, pickle juice, etc., I can only imagine that this is someone with a limited, childlike view of fragrances. I wish people would go deeper into why they smell these things and what it smells like after they have explored smelling raw materials.
I know folks who only dine on steak and potatoes and never seek out Mediterranean or Asian dishes; Some friends won't taste wine, yuck they say! Our tastes are different and so it is in the world of scent, IMHO. Vive La Difference! ( I really really dislike Nirvana Rose and sent it off to Goodwill! LOL. Fun video, thanks
Unfortunately, smell is invasive. If you don't like the clothes of the person standing next to you, you don't have to look, but if you don't like the smell of the person next to you, you may have no choice!
I love perfumes I even go to bed after showering with perfumes, and I do get headaches from some of my strongest perfumes for example, intense Cedrat boise but I don’t care, and I keep worrying them. I love Fragances
Are these picks just based on a single person’s opinion? I’m hearing “I received a message about this one” or “I got a comment” a lot vs something like a poll being done
Five O'clock Eau Gingembre came recommended by you and Emy's World of Fragrance. Emy has never steered me wrong, but this time, wow. For me, it was an intial blast of cheap soap, and then a faint bit of woods and a hint of pine in the dry down. I thought it would be a true love, but it is a big nothing burger on me. The other two fragrances I was actually allergic to. I loved Rouge Smoking but it gave me a bad allergic reaction, and the last one is Diptique's Tempo. I love patchouli too, so I bought it. It stunk like stale cheap soap and granny, and gave me a severe allergic reaction. From this list, I have to say Feve Delicieuse was a love at first sniff. It's yummy!
I was underwhelmed with Serge Lutens Five O'Clock Au Gingembre too. I read a comparison to Gucci Envy and bought it but there isn't much of a comparison. I like Serge Lutens and have Arabie, Chergui, and Gris Claire too.
My worst blind buy experience has to be Habanita. It was early on in my fragrance journey. Lucky me, I met an older, more experienced 'perfumista' as she likes to call herself who saw my inexperience and naiveté as an opportunity to lie, mislead and swindle. She sold me Habanita under some completely untruthful pretense. I've come to really enjoy baby powder scents. This smells like baby powder that's been left out in the rain, become a paste and serve as a perfect place for all the neighborhood dogs to come relieve themselves. Imagine that powder dried up and was put into a perfume bottle.

Worst fragrance for me is Invictus. Sickening sour dishrag smell that is not only in Invictus but in so many other men's scents. Can't believe anyone could enjoy that.
Thats the downside for sweet chemical fragrances they have a molton tonka overload that projekts Great but upp close it smells a bit sour like you say
Always hated invictus.
especially invictus platinum 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢
After enjoying a sample of Cedrat Boise I had purchased a sample set of 8 other popular Mancera fragrances... and they became my least favorite fragrances ever. I would have rather never smelled them, than owning that sample set.

My family loves Feve delicieuse

I like the rose in Delina but it's just too sweet!
I just tested the 3 Delinas side by side last night and none of them work with my chemistry. Original is too sour, La Rosée is too sharp, and Exclusif straight up smells like cheap cigarettes and musk, lol
I'm with you! I absolutely despise Mancera (who are Montale) aside from Cedra Boise, and basically enjoy most scents on earth.
This was the funniest video ever! I loved seeing those comments and hearing bad reactions. I laughed so hard. I completely understand the pain and horror, as I know the "running to the toilet and almost vomiting feeling " ....the things we go through for fragrances!!

I find BR540 to be very thick cough syrupy.
Moschino's "Toy Boy" is absolutely delicious and is one of my faves. Every single time that I wear it to an event....I get constant compliments from multiple people. Never fails.
I agree smells really good and a compliment getter for me
I am fascinated how differently people find scents - hilarious!
I really like the Nirvana line, didn't try the rose one since i really don't like rose, but I think you should try my 3 favs:
Amethyst - a pretty tobacco scent, French Grey - clean relaxing neroli lavender musk, Bourbon - a woody vanilla
I just really can't do citrusy fragrances- I've tried. I have bought and decluttered Sun Song by LV, Sundrunk by Imaginary authors, CKN2U, Liquid Sun by Thalia Sodi...I keep trying them and then getting rid of them...LOL! Le Lion de Chanel is litteraly the only Chanel fragrance I ever considered buying, surprised to see it in the list.
I’ve worn BDK’s Velvet Tonka today and it pissed me right off! There are no notes to my nose, it smells only of cheap marzipan. A perfume has never made me angry before..! It even gave me a headache and I never get headaches! Huge letdown and I’ll never wear it again.
Hello Louisa would you want to sell me your bottle 🙂
I just smell almond and that’s it. I’ve worn it like four times in one year😅
I like it from afar, I had a sample, and it’s just too strong for me. But Gris Charnel is my fav for autumn/winter.
Ya...Le Lion was definitely one of the best releases in recent memory, absolutely brilliant stuff.
Yes! My winter signature.
I really love Nirvana Bourbon from Elizabeth & James. It is a bit linear but great scent for the price. I believe the whole line is being discontinued but a lot of discounters have them at great deals.
It's a great line. Bourbon is super similar to Replica Whispers in the Library on my skin.
Super synthetic cheap smelling to me, but that's just me.
They're disappearing fast now.
When I'm feeling emo I put on black jeans, black boots, a black Morrissey Bona Drag shirt and 4 or 5 sprays of Nirvana Rose. I love it.
Rose is what I spray on the outside, because rose is what I feel on the inside.
@DeflatingAtheism I don't have much in my vial.
But spray it, it's yours
I’d love a smoky fragrance review! Never thought it was my bag until Sundazed came out! Love it!
Have you tried Armani Stronger Than You Tobacco? Might be right up your alley.
One of the worst fragrances in my opinion would be (Platinum) Egoïst by Chanel. It literally smells like a neglected elderly person with bad hygiene or even urine according to some of my colleagues.
🤣
😂
Seb for me it has to be blue sents in general I’m sure you know exactly which types I’m talking about. Just boring and shower gel smelling.
One of the most memorable, and gut wrenching fragrances that I’ve tried was ELDO’s Secretions. From a distance, it’s ok, but close up, the fragrance just makes me feel like retching. I couldn’t scrub it off fast enough.
This
I love this stuff. It’s also the best layering scent. It makes everything smell sexier, sweaty, salty and muskier.
This is the intention, though. The fragrance is supposed to do this. I’d call it a masterpiece, considering how successfully it achieves what it sets out to do.
I actually liked this one 🤔
Never had any problems with Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Extreme. Better than average to good performance. Many compliments and never one bad remark.
Oh wow I adore my Mango Skin!! I actually hashed at Poets though.. and Oud Affair is a bit strange, learning to like it since I bought it.
I can only liken it it rancid honey cough drops.
your comment made me laugh out loud! OMG I can't even begin to imagine what a yeast infection on a dog smells like, hahahahaha.
Vanilla Milk also smells like your description lol. Ellis isnt having a good few months.
There is a vibe of burnt rubber that sticks to my nose 😣
Well, thank you for this video, great idea!
I really like Nirvana Rose! I had long used up my bottle from Sephora and was thrilled to find it over the summer at TJ Maxx!
Two of my TOP5 are here, and they're Le Lion and Smoke! I laughed hard when I saw Le Lion as first pick tho! :D Thanks for introducing me to Akro, can't wait to test rest of their offer.
I hate Chanel No. 5! I have tried many times to come to terms with it but I just don't like it AT ALL!
I blind bought Feve from the Dior site and one spray on my hand made me feel nauseous. like canned white beans mixed with a horrible nasty medicine from my childhood called "Father Johns". I've never had such a reaction to a frag that I'd had such huge hopes for.
Did you sell it?
@@kdworak4754 traded for Ambre Nuit about a year later
Nice List Sebastian I also complain of Longevity of L Homme Ideal Extream
Thanks for sharing!
I love both Feve Delicious and Solie Blanc. My only beef with Eccentric Molecule is I can't smell it or anything with ISO super, but that's on me.
Most of these suggestions could be an excellent top 10 list lol. I agree with your thoughts on the Le Lion also.
I remember when I first wore that in 97 it was 24 hour long lasting fragrance. Not anymore sadly! :(
Definitely want to see an update for smoky fragrances (like this note in perfumes)!
Great video idea:D I'd strongly support a follow up:)) I've only hated 1 fragrance so far: Xerjoff Amabile! To my nose an absolute catastrophe!
Another amazing video idea Sebastian 👌 Winding down after the gym listening to this
I enjoyed this video. Please do more Sebastian!
Love Le Lion.. That animalic, sweet note is gourgeous!
But to Grand for me to wear my self❤Thats a TIE fragrance😉
I really dislike Intense Café by Montale. I blind bought it and when I sampled the rose was too much! I wanted more coffee but I should have gone with the Ristretto version, I think. I also despise the musks used in all Narciso Rodriquez fragrances, just can’t stand’em. Lastly, Tank Battle from LUSH -smelled like root beer, bubble gum, and dirt. ECK! 😝
The original Dior Poison literally made me ill. Never have learned which note caused the problem. A Nurse I worked with closely wore it to the max - don't know how I stood it :)
The tuberose maybe?
I love LE LION, too!
It is near Shalimar, but this is a good thing❣
ADORE: E&J Nirvana Rose! I wish the longevity was longer, though, because it does NOT last on my skin, unfortunately.
Great topic Sebastian, just goes to show its personal taste, lesson to be learned - " Don't go with the hype, test the fragrances yourself first"
Theres a few on this list that I really enjoy alot but i can understand why the ones i really like aren't everybody's cup of tea.
I recently ordered feve delicious after only smelling it once and never on my skin, waiting for its arrival fingers crossed.
I agree on both counts... well said!
I think it would be great to see your updated smoke list
Thanks for this video Sebastian….and please do more videos like this.
One thing i hate? In Love with Everything! I just bought a sample and it smells like air freshener from glade or febreeze, the one you plug in or spray. I thinks its the one with orange color on the package. I will not buy this!
Dior Feve Delicieuse is a wonderful powdery bomb 💣 😍
Sebastian, you can quote me on this: In 2020, I bought Paco Rabanne's "1 Million Parfum" without knowing what it's like, and I truly hated it. Luckily, I was able to get a full refund. When I ordered it, I thought that it was going to be like "1 Million EDT" but much greater than that. However, it smelled like a very cheap synthetic leather construction boot. I was very disappointed.
I was thinking of leaving on comment on this one! It’s FREAKING HORRIBLE. Lol.
Awesome topic and vid..Le lion is a masterpiece
From this list, I love Chanel Le Lion and Tom Ford Soleil Blanc! It has been several years ago since I tried Dior Fève Délicieuse, but I remember that I did not like it at all. Another fragrance that I really can’t stand, although I love many other fragrances from Tom Ford, is Lost Cherry. Definitely NOT for me.
Great list and I enjoyed it and I like Mugler AMEN and toy boy and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
I really, really like FEVE DELICIEUSE, SYNTHETIC JUNGLE:, and PORPORA. My worst blind buy is Chocolate Greedy! Still trying to figure out how to layer it in with fragrances so it's not a total loss! 🤣🤣
Facts chocolate greedy was horrible to me.
I noticed 2 fragrances that have given me a headache and it’s MFK Oud Satin mood extrait and Rocha Amber Aoud. I keep on spraying it on my wrist only just to get my nose trained to Oud.
My favorite parfume is Porpora, and i usually do not like rose parfumes, it is more mysterious and darker than POAL
Le lion?FEVE delicieuse?ideal extreme???i cant believe
I don’t have any Mancera fragrances yet but I did buy my Man cedrat Boise and I really like it and so does he.
I personally like it a lot, you just have to like labdanum.
😂 I bought it just a month ago and have already had multiple compliments on it. 🤷🏾
@@ObservingtheMatrix Ahh that’s it, lol I need to obtain a sample this evening. I’ve got a sample of bengale rouge on the way and then I’ll make a decision. I just hope I don’t like both before Christmas 🙈
@@loganperry6407 love the stuff, I’m on a real kick for anything amber/leather/incense atm. Would you say it’s thick/dense?
I get regular compliments. How things wear is different to top notes.
LOL! Agree! My spouse said I smelled like a dude! 😂
Soleil Blanc was a dislike to me which led me to the conclusion that I dislike coconut and or beach fragrances. I like Smoke but only after it has dried down
Yes regarding your question on smokey fragrance videos..
The person talking about the Muggler is talking about the "coffe" note, the og had a stronger note off this rubbery note, fot me the aroma chemical used to counjuring the coffe note dose not smell like coffe.. Its plastic and rubbery
Agree with the comment about Five deliceuse and Soleil Blanc, bough had to wash off because was make me nauseous.
Clinique Happy….awful awful , same with Angel….allergic to both…very cloying, awful.
To me Feve smells like a pack of baby diapers 😂😂😂
13 different people not a single person!
