      Christia-Lazara Ilie she has completely turned her life around from terrible things she used to do. It is incredible the amount of things she has overcome. And she is in no way, shape, or form “baiting” people to give her money. Its completely optional to buy her merch and she doesn’t advertise it much or gain a lot of money from it. She is a role model.

    • @xxIluvyouguysxx
      @xxIluvyouguysxx 4 года назад +8

      Christia-Lazara Ilie don’t you think she feels bad enough about her past?? Most people have a conscience, so they don’t need you to keep repeating that they’ve made mistakes. You seem like someone who doesn’t understand addiction. Addicts will go to the end of the earth for their addictions. They do hurt people in the process. Jess has recovered and is now trying to shed light on the realities of addiction and dealing. She takes full responsibility for her past. Listen to her closing words at the end of the video. Maybe her story will help someone. Maybe it already has.

    Jess,
    I’m a teacher & we all know that some of our students didn’t get breakfast, or have a warm jacket, or winter boots. I can honestly say that it’s one thing to know that & another thing to hear it described by you. I always did what I could for those kids I knew that didn’t have certain things they needed, but you have reminded me that this is not an individual problem. This is a problem on a mass-scale & so much more needs to be done to help kids who grew up with no food or home, etc, etc. As a teacher I’ve so often felt so frustrated because I believe that so many of the issues that kids face, come from home, or society. How can we expect kids to do well in school when they are so hungry, they feel dizzy. By making your videos, you are doing so much more than just telling your story & making things real (although you do that in a really good way). You are showing kids the consequences of actions that they may not even think are even a big deal.
    Have you ever thought about going into schools to talk to kids, BEFORE they can become felons? You would make a great motivational speaker & could really be effective (& make some money). We all know that prison must be terrible & losing our freedom could be awful, but when kids hear the actual details ... it really paints a vivid picture that is much clearer than anything I could ever tell them. Thank you for being strong enough to tell your story. I think that you were born with an inherent natural strength that helped you to climb out of a dark hole, & into a healthy, happy, productive life. I wish all girls/women had your strength, courage, & confidence, but I believe it can be taught - especially by women like you.

    I remember being in DARE 14 years ago, and they said “a lot of people would be offering random drugs, and peer pressuring you. watch out on Halloween, people are putting marijuana in the candy”. And as I’ve grown up, and none of that has happened, not even peer pressure. When I said no, their response was almost always, “more for me 🤷🏼‍♀️”.

They are almost all sober now & have been for several years but I saw their struggle. My grandpa, who's native American, is a recovering alcoholic, hes not drank in over 40 years. My mom never hid how going up with an alcoholic effected her life & how being Native American makes us more likely to become addicted & my parents never drank much & they never tried to scare my brother & i I into not drinking but they were very honest about what could happen. Thank you for sharing! I've met some addicts and dealers in my life and heard a lotta screwed up stories. And honestly D.A.R.E taught me nothing compared to the things that I've learned about addiction and drugs from people who are actually addicts and dealers. I've learned that drugs can make good people do bad things, it can fry your brain depending on what you're taking, and once you get yourself into that sort of lifestyle it's really difficult to change. And those are things that D.A.R.E never taught me. All I learned in school is that drugs are bad, but no one ever really explained why because the officers that tried to teach me about drugs had no actual experience being in a situation like that. I don't think you can fully explain or understand why drugs are so bad until you've actually seen first hand what they can do to people.

    No negative comments from me about your mom. I saw one of the videos of your mom and I could see how much you both love each other. I actually think you have a pretty cool mom. Obviously, everything that you've been through, and everything that's happened to you, the decency in your heart shines through. The journey you've been on and how your so brutally honest about yourself says volumes about you. Your mom raised a pretty great daughter. My mom has made mistakes, but so have I. I love my mom more than words could ever begin to explain. Life can be hard and throw things at us that we can never prepare for. But at the end of the day what matters the most is who we love and who loves us. I never focus on the wrong things that the people who love us do, but all the right things they've done. Sometimes, it's the littlest things that become our biggest blessings and make life worth living. ❤

    I related to so much of what you said. Small towns are really tough. I grew up in a very very small town. If you or your family didn't go to one of the churches there, then you were looked at as "bad" I too had a mom that was severely depressed when I was growing up. For the longest time she hid it from everyone, including my dad for many years. When things got so bad and she desperately needed to be on antidepressants, my dad, her mom acted like taking antidepressants was a bad thing, a weak thing. It wasn't until I was 17 that she finally got on antidepressants. I am so thankful that mental health is finally something people talk about and can get help with. Thank you for always being so transparent and real in your videos. You talk about the things that so many people think should be hidden. But enough of that shit, people shouldn't have to suffer in silence.

    I watched your detoxing video ystrdy and you described withdrawal perfectly! I used to sell H (1-3 ozs a day) for cartel members. I didn't have ANYTHING to show for it bc I had like a 5g a day habit. No longer thank God, but I've been battling my addiction for like 35 yrs. It SUX! I'm glad you finally kicked it. I just have to remind myself that relapse IS PART OF RECOVERY! Thanks for being so open and sharing your story! Thanks for clearing up MANY misconceptions in your vids! 💖 You're a very giving person! We're only as sick as our secrets.
    I was always hesitant to tell the truth about my past because I didn't want to hurt anybody, especially my parents. But, in order to break the cycle, we have to acknowledge what happened, because you can't change what you don't acknowledge.
    My mom battled mental illness, as do I. She did the best she could with the tools she had. I know that she had the best intentions and she did her very best. I'm grateful that I have a better understanding and better tools. I understand how hard she tried and I remember how much she loved her kids and how hard she worked for us. I remember the good times and I forgive her for the not so good times. (RIP Mom)
    Thanks for being so candid in sharing your story. ❤

    It makes sense that drug dealers don’t want to sell to people they don’t know, what they’re doing is illegal and they’re exposing themselves every time they sell. It’s also so true that drug prevention programs aren’t very realistic in their portrayal of drugs or addiction. I loved this video Jess!!

    Most people don't realize that when you make "mistakes" you are only doing what you know best for that time in your life. If you made previous mistakes and all of us have, you only made those mistakes because for that time that's the only way you knew how to handle it. The only thing you can do is learn from them and educate yourself so you don't make the same ones. You are doing great things Jessica keep it up.

    I sold magazines also for 15 years. I had to find a new connect every 2 weeks too. I started keeping the numbers of people I met because we traveled to the same cities year after year. It actually became easier because my connects built a relationship with me since I saw them every year. I still have lots of their numbers today, they all ha e famiand moved on from that life. But Jessica I can relate to mag crew. I worked for Vinny Pitts crew 041 and 070, Mark shumate crew 152 then I got promoted and had my own crew 031 No limit sales. Knowing where you ended up and seeing how it all started for you really made me realize that the people that I was around when I was in university we're at the beginning of what would have been a massive issue for them between my two best guy friends they dealt everything and towards the end of my first year one of them had several Runners Underneath Him and was a prospect for being his dealers right hand man it happens so quickly he had a customer base really really fast and I'm just glad that since then he's taking some time off of school to figure his life out and now he's going to the Justice Institute for law enforcement his goal is to one day be a K-9 Officer that would be really cool for him but it just goes to show you that people change
