Hello, congratulations for your explanatory video, I have a question, we are an audiovisual association and we want to record football matches or other events and we have 6 Logitch cameras, what is the wifi system you are using? advise? Thanks very much
Great Videos as Always. Question, in NDI mode, can you connect more than 3 cameras to OBS? I know their app is limited to 3 cameras and they even sell the bundle. Would be nice if we could use 4-8 of these cameras via OSB? Thanks.
Ron... I have two of these and use them with a Livestream Studio hardware switcher. Do you know if NDI mode is better than wifi in this case? Also, I have really struggled to get them to show up at times. It's hit or miss. HELP!!???
I bought a mevo start 1 week ago, now it will not connect on NDI mode. The app says NDI connected, and the mevo camera keeps blinking green and is never connected. When switch to the regular mode, it works. I bought this for the NDI function. I am not happy with this product at all. NO NDI, and it keeps disconnecting.
I had the same issue, and it seems If connect the MEVO Start to my network via WiFi, that my PC hosting the OBS software has to be connected to WiFi instead of an ethernet connection (on the same network) for the OBS software to see the MEVO Start as a NDI source.
Can you use it like a normal (not live) camera? Can you record to the camera and easily upload the file to a computer? (without removing the memory card) Can you use it like a normal web cam? Just wondering if it could satisfy all of my computer related camera purposes.
Hello Ron can you show next time how to make this thing work in obs, I've tried with no luck. My OBS has the NDI plugin and sees other devices except Mevo ...

Any advice to get the hybrid to work? I do not have the ethernet adapter for the MEVO. Thanks!
LOVE THIS Love this, large and stable.
Thank you Lon...............you are the best teaching is hard to do !!!!!
Be curious to see if the NDI latency improves with the Ethernet adapter
Hey, that's a great review. Happy to be a FAM.

Nice review! I need to get this.

Great follow up review. Question what camera are you using to record this review?
Hello Lon. You mentioned 30p, does it also do 25p for better interoperability with other PAL cameras for those of us on this side of the pond?
That is a good question - It looks like this one is limited to just 30 although I think the other one does 25p
Can you do the same thing on Eccamm ? Can you make a video for Mevo start into Eccamm .

Great video. Is it possible to use the autopilot feature while also using NDI to OBS?
This doesn’t work for zoom as zoom doesn’t support ndi. It’s a shame because that would be a great experience for multi camera support.
Mevo's page showing other USB-C ethernet power adapters doesn't appear. Are there any cheaper alternatives to the Mevo Ethernet Power Adapter?
Does the physical audio input work when in NDI mode? I'm assuming Mevo Mic App does not.
Is this good to use with Canvas and Google Classroom and Google Meet for virtual education? Can you roll in images in a Google Meet?

I cannot get my Mevo Start to work with NDI on Windows 10. It works like a charm on my Mac, any suggestions?
Check your Windows firewall settings ? What are you using it with ?

Lon, you mention a list of compatible ether net adapters. Any chance of a link? All I see is their OEM one...
Sure : lon.tv/mevoethernet

You could use it as a webcam through NDI and their windows app that brings ndi sources in as web cameras. But not through a direct connection.

Do you have the NDI HX drivers installed ?
