all these comments are about cheryl but toni should be more than just cheryl's hand. she's a beautiful, strong, intriguing, wonderful character who's clearly been through a lot thats never been talked about and she too needs to be cared for. she shouldnt just have to give and give and give. if she died, it would be a loss to the whole world of riverdale, she's such a fantastic character who deserves the world.

It's true toni is the first open lesbian characters and no cheryl came after toni. Actually toni was originally u the comics not les but a potential lover for jughead I'm glad they made the change because choni is so cute together but toni has such a good backstory and depth I dont get why out of the 2 most people care about cheryl

EXACTLY!! I love Choni with everything in me (they're my fav ship ever) but to be completely honest, I feel like after they got together Toni became like an accessory to Cheryl. In season 2, Toni was this badass, independent, fierce character with so much potential, I literally fell in love with that version of her, but after she became Cheryl's girlfriend, it felt as though that was all she was, "Cheryl's girlfriend." She has been in 3 series now and we still know little to nothing about her and it's so unfair bc Toni is such an amazing character and Vanessa is an insanely talented actress. And this is in no way meant to be hateful. I absolutely adore Madelaine and Cheryl, it's just that Vanessa deserves to get her shine for once.

To be honest Choni is the reason we all watch this show. If Toni died everyone would be heart Brocken. The show would never be the same and quite frankly I don’t think I would watch any more. Cheryl has been fighting her own demons inside for soo long, Toni has helped Cheryl see the light and come out of her shell.
I feel like if Toni died, cheryl would probably kill herself or have a child with someone else and name her/him Toni after her dead lover. That would kill me and i would probably cry all day if Toni died. I'm in my feels rn 😭😢😱

I know it’s sad and unthinkable, but if Toni died, I think Cheryl would go back to Sweetwater River and try to drown herself again. I think she wouldn’t tell Veronica or text her anything that would give them clues. It would be really sad, but knowing what Cheryl has been through, I don’t think she would be able to live with losing Jason and Toni.
