Fender could have easily written squier off as low quality entry guitars, but they’ve come a long way and deserve respect.
There are some really high quality Squire guitars out there

I just ordered a 2021 CV butterscotch w/ maple fretboard. It appears that the previous owner made a few upgrades to it already. I can't wait to see/play/hear it.
