I'm so glad the wood cook stove made it in despite taking a tumble. Great job on that repair Daniel .What a beauty it is . The white really sets it apart too. 🤩 That was a very productive day in the kitchen, with chicken and dumplings then that bright , gorgeous cake for after . I'm sure you're going to be cooking on that beautiful stove and enjoying its warmth for many years to come . Thank you for another amazing video. Take care lovelies 😘 💖
Abby Jo she is a beauty! Have you named her yet? Your kitchen is absolutely fabulous my friend. I see that Daniel is also from the school of "measure twice, cut once!" If I had a quarter for every time my dad reminded me of that over the years.😉 I hope that you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. Hugs.
So glad the wood cook Stove is now in place! Every time I see Daniel working on anything I am so impressed...so meticulous! That is rare in today's world. I'm so happy you are back on RUclips. Looking forward to next time!
I have just fallen in love with your videos. They are just so relaxing. In this crazy world we live in, they are so refreshing to see such a loving family. I am truly hooked on all your videos. Can't wait to see what's next.
That wood stove is so beautiful. Your husband done a wonderful job at fixing that broken piece. Your dinner looks amazing like always! I bet that cranberry upside down cake is delicious. Thanks for sharing your day.
I really miss my wood cookstove I had in our log house in TN. I have a woodstove we installed a few yrs ago and I can cook on top but no oven of course. I love watching your episodes. You are so calm and easy going.
The stove is beautiful! It will be so cozy during the cold winter months…enjoy it. Also, Daniel is one clever fellow. I really appreciated watching him fix the broken block; ingenious. 😊
Abby Jo, thank you for inviting me around for another cozy virtual experience of your beautiful home and kitchen. It’s always like receiving a big warm gentle hug 🤗 from friends! How good it is that your daughter, Natasha, is following in your footsteps with her creative ways. And that husband of yours, Daniel, is worth preserving too! What a hardworking gem!!
AbbyJo, hour wood cook stove looks absolutely amazing! I always enjoy looking around your beautiful, cozy cottage! Your home certainly has come a very long way in such a short time. Daniel is very smart, and having an ability to do your own things around the house saves thousands of dollars! We just remodeled our bathroom/laundry room, and my husband did all the work, with help from our grandson the remove the heavy washer and dryer. It is s delight to see your daughter love beauty, and create gorgeous arrangements. The eyes have so much to see here, and the music is so beautiful. I love the cooking and baking part of your videos!
Beautiful video. Your recipes are easy and fun. T.y. I hope to have wood cookstove like yours one day. Great repair job. Didn't get chance to say how pretty your winding gardens were but I loved them. Thanks for sharing
I love your new wood stove.Abby Jo.Your home will be cozy this winter ..the ambience is heavenly .Flowers drying ...A productive canning day ..a great feeling ..🤩😍🦋💐
That is a beautiful wood stove, just the thing for your winter months especially. I grew up where they had one in the farm kitchen and I have many fond memories of it. Sending hugs.🙌🏻
Love to watch you can. I used to can apple pie filling but never liked the way it turned out. I now slice my apples and layer them in between sugar for 24 hours and they make a syrup. I jar them up with hot water and the syrup the apples make. there is a video on this. Apples are firm and so good when you process them.
@@ForgottenWayFarms I layer the apples in a glass jar or crock with the sugar for 24 hours this way you can use the apples for anything. they create their own juice pack them in jars and can them. Sometimes I need to add water. Also I have added cinnamon to the juice. Check out LITTLE VILLAGE HOMESTEAD for her video.
So happy for you. I know you wanted the wood stove and can imagine it’s a joy for it to be installed ready to use 🎉I missed seeing where that part went. It was so nifty watching him fix it. It reminded me of my Dad. He could have fixed most things when he was with us. I miss him so much. Everything looked delicious. Take care Janet 😘
Thank you Janet, it is pretty exciting to have it installed now ❤️ Dads are good at fixing things, my little girl thinks her Dad can fix ANYTHING, it’s so sweet 🥹
I ordered my stove from the same place about 7 years ago looks almost the same as yours. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I absolutely love it and it warms my entire house.
So wonderful to see you back on RUclips! You guys have been busy!! That Wood Stove is so cool!! I'm sure you will make lots of use with it!! Loving the Pictures Natasha found! I would LOVE to see her Gallery Wall when she is finished! 🤗🎄🔥🧱✨🕯️✨
when helping my mother in the canning process there was always a dish washer, usually me, who kept up with the dishes so the kitchen wouldn't look so cluttered....mama always would do like you, once she got going it was like a 3 ring circus, one ring the prep the next canning the something else canning and cooking a huge meal all at once, me washing dishes till the cows came home!!! when we finished canning the kitchen was clean.
Thank you- It was! It was actually made with blueberries picked in the Soo- my sister who lives there gave me a can of her filling at Thanksgiving :) I am missing our Alaska home though where we used to pick buckets of wild cranberries on the mountain! I had a good recipe for cranberry custard pie. Would love to see more about your homeschooling. I first found you through your Hygge homeschool video and was so inspired. I get so excited when I see your videos uploaded.
I have a question about canning that chicken in the pressure cooker? Is this like the Instant Pot? I did not know you could actually pressure can meats/vegetable in the electric pressure pot. What is your process of doing this? You may have a video on this already but new to your channel. Thank you. The stove is gorgeous so happy for you.
do you remember what flooring you used in your house? Looks like vinyl plank? I need a new one and keep ordering samples that i never like, I like yours!
I discovered your channel recently and have been watching random video's. They are so inspiring and relaxing. Also not screaming to use certain things or certainly do it this way and no other way. I love it. Your applesauce turned out so lovely in color, what sort of apples did you use for it?
Did you need to brace the floor under the wood cook stove? I’ve been making my applesauce in slow cookers on low overnight and in the morning use my immersion blender and process. So easy. The cake looks scrumptious!
new to your channel and I am playing catch up on all your reno videos and such, I love your island, I think you brought it with you in the move, maybe because I didn't see it in the first walk through video of your kitchen..did you make it? do you have a video on transforming it from a buffet to an island? and will you please put the cranberry upside down cake recipe on your next video? Hi Abby Jo, using the Red Hots does it make the applesauce Hot or does it just give it a little kick. Looks amazing. I absolutely love your wood stove. Thank you for another great video.
I bet that stove cost a fortune to buy and install! The chimney sweepers in my area told me the cost of installing a wood burning oven in the fireplace would be 6,000 dollars😮can you believe that?!? But they said once installed, your whole home would be heated plus your heating or gas bill will go down significantly in how much you pay every month!
