I've been lucky enough to see both BABYMETAL and BAND-MAID live a few times each.
My bucket list group is Gacharic Spin.
I've seen all three bands live 2-3 times each. Got to say they're all great but Gacharic Spin is my favourite!
Hana, unique in her class. You must to watch the live version of Juicy Beats from the same live concert, is darker than usual it was, with Angeline 1/3, the mic performer/dancer, doing a great performance resembling to much the first (RIP) singer, Armmy.
I just found out about them too.
They just put out the 10 year greatest hits compilation last year, which I picked up while in Japan. The concert was, sadly, sold out, so I didn't get to go. But with the current situation, the tour for the new album is on hold, so they may be touring when I get to go back to Japan.
Greetings guys, I'm new to your channel. Gacharic Spin is an amazing band. The drummers are totally crushing it here. I never heard of them until just recently and really digging their style. Also great channel, definitely a new follower to you now!!!

They are the most unique girl band in the world. Their performance skills are amazing.
The 2 drummer thing is more a fun thing for this song to bring Hana's drumming back. Usually she is in front playing guitar now while Yuri handles drums alone (and she is really good at it, too).
Ahh, thanks loads for checking out this fantastic performance! Hana plays guitar, drums and even aerophone throughout this show as well as singing, really an excellent bluray, can't recommend it highly enough!
Hana's also an excellent bassist and just all round musical ace. She put a video on their Gachato TV channel a few weeks ago of her playing a short arrangement/cover of Smells Like Teens Spirit where she plays some funky slap bass, some funky guitar with a shred solo, drums made out of a balloon and a mug, drinking straws tuned by cutting to length, a ruler and picture frame for the main bass line, and just loads of ingenious stuff, check it out here: ruclips.net/video/HbXmA7pvHbU/видео.html

One more thing...the video you watched that had Hana out front playing guitar was the ‘I can’t live without my cinderella video. Now last year tomo got sick and couldn’t play for a couple of weeks. They canceled a couple of shows but one was to close and they couldn’t find a guitar player that new their music. They could however bring in a drummer that could cover for Hana while she went down front with a mic and played lead guitar and sang. I didn’t hear anyone complaining...
Yuri is the new drummer and Angelique is the new singer and both are cute as hell. Angelique sings lead on several songs such as Koete Yuke and the new heavier version of Juicy Beats (both have vids on RUclips)
The new performer/vocals is Angelina 1/3 (アンジェリ ーナ1/3).

Very different styles, great job by Angie & all, heavier, the non hysterical Oreo, Yuri is impressive (just when you thought you knew which one was smallest...). Btw, it’s Arrmy’s lyrics, the original “Sexxxy!”, lots of English like turn me on, satisfaction, juicy indeed, surprised Angie’s mom approved!

When Arrmy was fired for unreliability, they spent most of 2012 looking for a new singer. Fuki volunteered but didn’t want to be a replacement for irreplaceable Arrmy, thus Doll$Boxx fantastic first album (were signed to better medium sized label than GS’s indie.) When the year’s support cycle for that finished, they decided Arrmy was truly irreplaceable and wrote the Delicious album 2013, one of the first singles/vids being Next Stage which introduced the 2 nearly 16yr old performers, very much about the changes life brings (English lyric: “I can change my world.”) Mai lasted 6years until December 2018; Arisa in green lasted 2, and her (most talented imho) younger replacement Nenne in Orange lasted 2 (now resurfacing solo indie after 2.5yrs). Back down to the core 4, they released one new song to introduce 17yr old Angie (born 2001. I could swear Hana runs an underage lesbian sex slave ring?!), then stole Yuri (1995) from the clutches of Bridear just in time for the Gold Dash album supporting Paralympic athletes. So reviving Next Stage was appropriate... and mixing things up for spectacle comes naturally... it’s actually a complex song, at least 4different keys, their trick, like Rush, is to make it flow so you don’t notice the wizard behind the curtain...
One of the first vids you saw, My very own (cute) Cinderella, had a very androgynous thing going on, Hana as a pirate captain deciding which dancer to choose, the tux or the gown. She played rhythm guitar to electronic drums, or sometimes had a special guest drummer at shows... this live one from 2015 with (Tribal Scream of Phoenix band) TSP’s Hina drumming, “sexxxy drummer!” Koga says...

It was soon after this that Arisa (green) quit her 2year tenure, so she could go to prom... (well, “focus on high school” was the official story)
I can never remember what I’ve commented before (if I remembered stuff good, I’d work, and not have time for RUclips), but as someone mentioned, Hana used to front a band on bass, and played guitar in another. In one of those, the drummer, a high school buddy, went on to be BabyMetal’s drummer. BabyMetal guitarist Ohmura (pink glitter guitars) wrote a song on Gold Dash, and has GS be the House band for his annual birthday concerts. And Hana had an all star show last fall, Saki of Mary’s Blood, Koga, two more I think (I forget stuff), to celebrate her 20th anniversary of being a signed artist, having been co-lead singer in pop/ska band “12.hitoe”(12peeps) at age 13... ruclips.net/video/ACVLTy4N-oI/видео.html And I just recently learned that TomoZo was on TV in a band at age 16, before she met Oreo in the band Euphoria. Origin timing, they’re 2009, after Aldious and Destrose, & Fuki’s Lightbringer, same time as Mary’s Blood, a year before BabyMetal conceived DokiDokiMorning... Doll$Boxx was 2012, vid for each of 14-15 songs, arc of 9. The whole DB concept, but esp vid 3, Take My Chance, (which had them in (pink) maid outfits) seems to me to have inspired BandMaid forming 6months later. Coincidence? Everybody’s like “yeah, right. And Hana’s harem is underage, go ahead Tim...”

@@StaticAgeChannel Hey guys, it's a long shot, but I'm trying to see if we can round up a few people and try to deliver a message to some of the Japanese record labels about the importance of reaction channels. I was at Echoplex last year with you guys, and from talking to a lot of people in line all day, I realized that at least 2/3 of the fans were either reactors or people who heard about the band through reaction channels. The labels are killing their biggest (and free) marketing machine. I've started talking with a few other folks, let me know if you are interested.

As you'd expect from Gacharic Spin, highly energetic bouncing along music. Great playing too. But most of all - great FUN. They're having fun, the audience is having fun. Twin guitars - pah - we have twin drummers :) BTW : there's some horrible background noise on your video.
