    Wonderful teaching & insight on hooping! 🙌 thank you for Dr. Thomas for making available these awesome Black ministers of the Gospel of Jesus that the whole world needs to know what we as a people need to embrace and above all “Thank God for our culture in preacher’s that have brought us through the ages…. I wish I could hoop at 70 + . I still try 🙌🙌❤️🙏🏽

    Pastor I agree that you are a topical preacher! I can honestly say that all the years I’ve listened to your messages you have demonstrated solid form in carrying the message to its fullness and staying committed to the text, so much so that even the youngest child can understand. Also, thank you so much for sharing your prep strategy; you are the best!

    I remember you said, Write! And even if you don’t know what to write, write down “I don’t know what to write.” I’m finding this very helpful now in my preaching and teaching. Bless you!!

    I was a little girl when Pastor Branch hit Detroit; he was a frequent Youth Day speaker at the church I grew up at, Palestine Missionary Baptist under the late Rev. Dr. Samuel Ward, Jr. As an adult I was a social worker at a major hospital; always being active in the church world I know many local ministers; Pastor Branch is one of the few I could count on seeing visiting his members in the hospital. He has an old-school pastor's heart; I pray many adapt true pastoral ministry. Pastor Branch lives what he preaches.
