Brilliant, I just bought one and have been looking for compatible nails and gas, as prises can vary quite a bit. I was wondering if there was any negative points to using other brands of gas and nails? Anything to be aware off? This will be for occasional use, no point in buying packs of 4k nails as I some some dealers sell. what about cleaning, might be a good video to show. Hi there, thanks for your kind words, tell me about it there is a massive variation in prices, and the issue I had was supply, in local stores, so I took the gamble and tried different ones, I’ve had no issues what so ever using any other brand as long as they are the correct degree and have clipped heads. in regards to the gas the only issue I’ve faced was for some brands the tips were the incorrect size, but like I said in the video I just got round that by swapping the tips over, an interesting thing I noticed the other week was, I was building a frame and when I finished and took the bottle out the date caught my eyes, according to the bottle it was over a year out of date, however I noticed no difference in power when I used it, so I’d test them before throwing them out. And to be honest with you if it’s only for occasional use then just grab your self a 2200 pack or something, they are fairly cheep and just buy fuel cells as and when you need them. You might even be able to find some half used packs on eBay from where people have hired one for a day or two do something and had nails left over. Thanks for the feedback a cleaning video is very good idea as I’m sure there’s a lot of people who would want that! And that’s a great idea, I really appreciate that, I’ll add it in the title today!
