    This trailer is the cutest little thing I've seen in awhile. I just love it. I can't believe all the storage it has in it, wow. If I was single, I wouldn't think twice about living in it full time. Find me a little old RV Park that doesn't charge too much for lot rent and live out the rest of my days in that. Thank you so much Josh for putting out this video.

    IMHO all campers should have the convection/microwave. Options options options. I love this unit! I hope it's still around in three years because it's my choice for going fulltime after retirement. The only thing that would be better would be if it came as a slide-in camper.

    This would be MY choice if I were buying a "getaway" trailer for my wife and I. I am impressed with the amount of under the floor storage. I wish they would add tie downs or moveable partition walls to keep cargo from shifting, especially when driving on boon docking roads.

    Josh, I have looked at and " test fit" the 2019 14fk Geo Pro and loved most everything about it....EXCEPT a bed that is only 70" long! I am 6' 0" tall and would like to stretch out a bit. Also the 14fk doesn't sport much storage room compared to this 15TB. I LOVE this unit. I wish I could have "visited" it before your customer picks it up. I believe this unit is only about 250 lbs. more dry weight and 35 more lbs. of tongue weight. I have a Toyota F.J. Cruiser with what is stated in it's owners manual to have 5000lbs. of towing capacity. Also a Ford Ranger 4X4 with 5500 lbs. tow capacity. I do not want to exceed 3000 lbs. of dry weight as we like to spend much of our camp trips in National Forest Campgrounds as well as off the grid boondock camping where getting to the campsite can be part of the adventure. I think this less than 16 foot unit would be just the ticket for my wife and I's couple's camper. I will scope your current inventory on line but can you inform me when you will expect to have more of these units arrive for your stock and aprox. how long would the wait time be for a special order unit if I decide to order. We enjoy your informative and highly entertaining videos. You are our #1 resource for entertaining our R.V. dream. Barry at "Superior Overland", Iron Mountain, Mi.

    I’m in love with the similar layout of the GeoPro 16TH teeny, tiny toy hauler. Hope you guys get one in. I’m at an age where lifting my expensive bike or a kayak onto a roof is out of the question.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 лет назад

      The lack of a full-time bed is something that has received a harsh level of feedback when polling clients -- especially when full-time beds are available in many other small toy haulers capable of being towed by similar vehicles.

    To bad about the front window not being an option as it would be perfect for such a small trailer. That end of the unit looks/feels closed in.
    If they can build the trailer, they can build it with the front window cap. They would have a winner for sure and never have to look back.

    Quality-wise, how does this compare to the R Pod? Both have Azdel sides and report aluminum framing, but just curious as to whether there are notable differences. I crawled up on top of the E-Pro version and it feels solid as hell on top. One "one room" design is definitely just one room. It is big (relatively speaking) and open. Everything about this unit looks and feels like it is ready to hit the road, and moderate versions of the off road. I stood there thinking how bad-ass it would look with a camouflage paint job. But couldn't make up my mind between traditional greens or modern digital desert. I'd probably have to go with the latter. Took the ladder off, but the sales guy wasn't sure where it was supposed to go while removed. Or how to secure it to avoid theft. The back window is actually two windows on the E-Pro. I supposed it's the same on the Geo Pro.

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  5 лет назад

      Geo Pro (and it's clone/sister the Flagstaff E-Pro) are the names everyone is chasing in this class/segment. They were the first time to come out with a mainstream offering built off-grid capable right from the factory level. They set the standard for the Azdel use, mor/ryde steps, solar, inverters, floor plans, etc.
      Everything else has taken their inspiration and core of their designs from the success of the Geo Pro series.
      The features you've inquired upon were features Geo Pro used first that were later adopted by other brands in this segment in an attempt to tap into Geo's success & consumer satisfaction reports.
      The removable ladders can side-mount by the way. This allows for easier access to the roof mounting / tie down rack.

      Literally the same RV with different decals. Don't ever let someone tell you one is better than the other.
      There is only one notable difference between any Rockwood and Flagstaff is a slight variance in resale values. Because there are roughly 2 rockwoods sold for every 1 flagstaff the Rockwood name carries a little higher recognition and slightly higher resale as a result.
      I'm not trying to smokescreen you into thinking one is worth THOUSANDS more than the other as that's certainly not the case. The difference is minimal, but it's there.

    Is it insulated?

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  4 года назад

      All RVs are insulated. If you're asking if it's a "four seasons RV," No. Nor could anything this size qualify for that rating. The RV's structure is made for lighter weight. It's literally not thick enough to carry the extra insulation packages of something like an Eagle.
      The holding tanks are also larger than the chassis which prevents underbelly enclosure at this time.

    Also that bike rack comes stock. This dealer is trying to get more money as an option same with the power tongue jack

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  4 года назад

      Again, this is 2020 footage. Options were different when this was recorded.
      Also the tongue mount bike rack is not standard stock equipment. You’re welcome to verify on Rockwood’s own website!
      Let us know if we can be of any further assistance

    They should put a real cabinet with range hood over the kitchen instead of that lame shelf with net.

    • @sportsguy2891
      @sportsguy2891 4 года назад

      maybe not the range hood, they do have the fan in the ceiling.

    The wood looks cheap not a good quality 😕 the trailer doesn't look like it last for while

      It's the same cabinet stile construction as the rest of the Rockwood lineup. Perhaps the color pattern isn't suiting you.
      This video is now slightly dated. Take a peek at the updated 2021 and let me know what you think here ruclips.net/video/dP7gUbR87QU/видео.html

    Who going camping and is going cook a turkey. I don't want a big sink or big stove/oven in a small camper. I am going to use paper plates and canned food. Most likely cook outside anyways.
