- We have begun what could be the ultimate overland vehicle!
The Lexus GX460 is an absolute beast of a platform if you're looking for something capable AND comfortable! Like we mention, this thing has all the creature comforts inside, and is very very capable!
We are starting off this build with a set of metal bumpers!
The rear is from Expedition One, which adds a spare tire carrier and some other attachments! The front is from Victory 4x4! We installed plenty of Baja Designs lights to top it off!
The final piece to this puzzle is an Spod as well as an ARB 4x4 air compressor!
While you're here, check out the rest of our videos as we build some cool setups here!

The best combo of Toyota parts.
I'm very happy with the job Mount Zion did on my GX. Excellent communication throughout the process and great attention to detail. Would definitely recommend!
This is likely the combo front/rear bumper I'm going to go with. I'm 100% decided on the Strike. Wish there were more options for the rear bumper but this video has given me a really good idea of how the Expedition One bumper will look. Get this poor guy a suspension and tire upgrade quick!
Recently had the lift and wheels done. Huge difference for the better.
That's a great start. I can't wait to see the next stage. 😎 👍

I went with the Blitz, that bumper is super extreme., also Victory 4x4 GX460 sliders, the angles look like they are made for the rig. Nice tip on the rear bumper, i haven't gotten that far yet.
I really liked the Blitz and Victory sliders too but I needed greater clearance/angle and a wide step for the back with the Kickout on the sliders.
Nice
Bumpers are gawd and really don’t match the lines of the vehicle they stick way out and don’t look good at all .
@@joesmith7123 yeah I think cbi covert looks better
@@ryanr482 the problem with that one is you have to lift the hood to get access to the winch witch is also stupid.
There are ports on both sides of the winch which give it easy access.
The CBI does looks really good but the Strike bumper has better clearance and approach angles.
The bumpers look much more balanced and in proportion after the lift and larger tires were mounted.
