I love that I did nearly everything you've done on your GX step by step when I was trimming the bumpers, sliders, and making room for the larger tires. This was the first build where I did all that work instead of paying someone else to do it and I think it turned out well. Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
After cutting out that wheel well liner, you will be collecting tons of mud and debris behind the fender. You car is going to rust out very quickly. Just to give you an idea. I have removed those side steps completely and installed rocker panels from Prado. They have an opening at the front end where you install mud flaps. While I was waiting for the mud flaps order, I drove the car for just about two weeks. It was long enough for road debris to scratch the rust protection behind the fender. It was winter, so by the time I installed the mud flaps the rust was already showing up. I had to do lots of work with cleaning up and respraying. I would never drive it, if I knew so much damage can be done in such short time. Perhaps mud is not going to do as much damage as salt, but be prepared.
I plan to do covers, for the wheel wells just with the time constraint with Jamboree was around the corner didn't have the time to do it. I already cleaned out (after an hour with a hose 0_o) Fortunately for Texas here we don't have to worry about salt on the roads.

I've got the older brother, the GX470, and am stoked to see what you do with this new project. Our GX is the most fun vehicle we've owned
Thank you for making this video. This is something I have considered but never saw the amount of work that needs to be performed. Awesome build!
Yeeeeee. Awesome meeting you in person at JAMBO.
Absolutely! next year lets run a trail together!!

Awesome video Pablo!
I’ll take those GX wheels
I’ll take the stock 460 wheels!!
There sitting at the shop, come get em 😊
Do you think -30 offset would be harder to clear? Were you rubbing on the frame at all with -10?
-30?! you want the entire wheel outside of the wheel well or what?
@@gwot, it's only .75" more than they used.
Sweet!
I’ll take those stocks lol …. In Hawaii tho
That this is sexy!!!
