Hi Jose great video just subsbribed! We are staying a week in Santo Domingo in a high rise. My mom is in a wheel chair. Is Zona Colonial wheelchair friendly? We are staying at Atica Metropolitano they say in heart of city. If you have any tips for me I would greatly appreciate it for her in a wheel chair!! Cannot wait to visit your country!!
Thanks for the comment. I’ll be honest, it will be tough to get around in a wheel chair because a lot of the streets there are cobblestone and the sidewalks are narrow. This is because the infrastructure is from colonials times. Having said that you’ll be ok with a little bit of patience. Either way the people there are patient and helpful. I’d glad you enjoyed the video and I’m happier that you’re visiting.
