What a cute little son you have! I couldn't stop watching him🥰🥰 To meet the 6th member of the band, Troy Donockly the multi-instrumentalist and famous for playing the Uilleann (Ill-en) pipes, the Irish bagpipes, please react to "I Want My Tears Back" Live Buenos Aires 2019. The crowd is crazy!

Marko Hietala was the bassist, second vocalist, sometime composer, and sound mixer for the band from 2001 to January 2021. He stepped away because the way the music industry works now was no longer "validating" to him (the promoter doesn't take risks, it's all on the musicians, but the promoter takes a big cut, including for merchandise, etc.) and worsening problems with chronic depression. He stayed out of public life for about a year. A psychiatrist suggested he get tested for ADHD and he was diagnosed with "a relative of it" - didn't specify what that meant. He spends part of his time in Spain now because the long winter nights in Finland are too depressing. And he performs before small crowds with less traveling now because that's what is comfortable for him. This all came from an interview he did this year with Chaoszine (can find on RUclips). He's also going to be a dad again. Check out his work at the Kuopio Music Festivals and with his old band Tarot, the Northern Kings, All Hietala Trio, Powerless Trio, and guest appearances with groups like Delain. He does the lead in Nightwish on The Islander, Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red, and High Hopes (highly recommended tribute to Pink Floyd which also features great guitar solos by Emppu - had to edit, spelled his name wrong).
Love your little boy and your reaction.

Dude I love your Nightwish reactions! So many people who react to Nightwish stop and go back to call out something impressive, or talk about something Floor is doing, or listen to something again to highlight a point, but you're just like, "No. I didn't listen to that bit hard enough. I need to do that bit again and really music it" and we all do that with some songs we love, but it's so much fun seeing someone else do it :D

Your son son is adorable and he is looking up to you so much and his eyes can tell :) You do everything right. Best regards from Germany and blessing to you and your family Sir PS: The concert is the Wacken Festival in Germany. Its one of the biggest Rockfestivals in Europe. Started by two farmers with 5 local bands decades ago and it just grew bigger and biggger and people from all around the globe come there now. In that tiny village :D There is a documentary on the Wacken Festival. Its great because it brings people togehter. Music is love without borders always

Awesome, sharing the experience with your son.👍
A 3 octave glissando that Floor does in tandem with Marko. The studio version, from 2004 with Tarja, only had his 2 octave slide.
One of the heavier songs, and one of the few that Emppu really shreds on. He , and the entire band, play what is needed for the song, they aren't out there to show off.
Yes, all 3 videos of them you have watched were at Wacken 2013. This was song #11 of 15, GLS was 13, and Storytime was #6.
LOL, that's Marko Hietala(Dave Mustaine is in Megadeth), and he sang backing or co-lead on a lot of songs, and lead on a few. He was lead singer of a band called Tarot before joining Nightwish. Nightwish has covered Megadeth's Symphony of Destruction with Marko on vocals. Unfortunately ,he left the band early last year for personal reasons. Jukka Koskinen is now the bass player. Floor and Troy, whom you haven't met yet, have taken up Marko's vocal parts.
The song itself is about a romance that has died, it's over, time to move on.
Try Everdream or Song of Myself next from this same show. To meet Troy, try I Want My Tears Back at the 2018 Buenos Aires show.

I just love your interactions with your son. We need more men to step up and be great daddy's like you are. Our children learn by example of what they experience from their parents and this is just lovely to behold. Thank you, sir, for being such an inspiration to others. What a fantastic reaction by you and your boy. Watching him look back at you and pick up that enthusiasm from you brings such joy to my heart and soul. Fantastic.

It's not Dave Mustaine, it's Marko Hietala. He had founded the band Tarot together with his brother, where he was also the main singer. When the band paused he joined Nightwish and was the ideal addition. He left the band during the pandemic. He justified it by saying that he no longer wanted to do commercial music. In the meantime, however, he has been on the road again with the All Stars Band Northern Kings and has given solo concerts. We all hope he comes back to Nightwish.

Your little guy had me laughing. He's adorable.
Perhaps "Yours is an Empty Hope" at either Wembley or Mexico City should be next. One of their heaviest tracks. I won't be a spoiler, just listen carefully to the chorus.
BTW, your mic volume needs to be raised.

    He is Gorgoeus!
Dunno although, to show him the works of Tuomas, how he interprets an Love gone South as Opener to Nightwish...Perhaps cheer Him up with some Tunes from Frozen? Try Floors Frozen Interpretations on her Channel;)
Sorry Man, but i hardly even recognize you through This, your Toddler stole the Show, what an adorable one;) When he looks from Screen up to You and back, wondering, what he should make of all of This. He is just happy to sit with his Dad, enjoying this to the fullest, you let Him be Part of...well whatever, doesnt matter, Dads do it with ME!
Got you an Treasure, keep hold of.
Everdream would be something you both like i presume.
    Nope, no Megadeath:)
    Stay healthy

Check out Wishmaster or Pharaoh Sails To Orion from the DVD From Wishes to Eternity. They were in their prime in the late 90's, early 2000's and were young and hungry. Avoid there newer stuff and newer live shows until you check out the old shit first. It's like watching Metallica play Damage Inc. in 2018.

“Wow!” Your boy looks like an awesome kiddo! This one is one of their more ‘metal’ songs. It’s actually one they didn’t do live all that often, but thought it fit this show, and they were right! Maybe now, “start out a little bit softer… with Ever Dream.” Same Wacken show. Marko, the bass player, is an accomplished singer in his own right. He’s never been in Megadeth, but has covered one of their songs. Keep exploring Nightwish!

Perfect reaction for the little man, Nightwish is like soft Disney Metal for kids. Super clean and family friendly. Some bands like Metallica, Sabbath AC/DC and so on actually have lullaby albums. It's not with guitars and stuff, but orchestras record them. It's funny hearing an instrumental version of Master of Puppets with classical instruments set to a slow tempo for kids.

This was the 2013 Waken (pronounced VAH-ken) Open Air "Metal" show. Nighwish was he headline act. They played 15 songs. (The first one you reacted to was near the end.)
I suggest, from this show: Dark Chest of Wonders, Last of the Wilds, and Ever Dream.
This show is, pretty much, the most-perfect and awesome modern performance of anything. The lucky people there!!!
