@@thatfitfriend Ok I got the Tolos and liked them, but found the color to be a strange bluish white. A bit picky, but I wear barefoot shoes daily so the style is important. Next I went for the Radix, and liked the style but found the heel loop too small for my fingers (why do brands do this??). So finally I picked up some Motus on Revivo for $110, their quality and comfort is hard to beat. BTW have you tried Be Lenka Swift? Looks like another good option in this class.
Thanks for all the honest reviews and sizing explanations! I’m a size 9-10 depending on shoe and struggle with fit. Right foot is a half size larger w/larger toe knuckle too. So your vids/guides have been extremely helpful! Picked up the Tolos 2.0 in white Size 9 and 9.5 and the 9.5s were perfect. Decided to grab Seconds in Black. So was pretty true to size. Also grabbed a Vivo Motus Strength in Size 9 and 10 but 10 was too big. Just ordered a Size 8 to compare. The motus have a great width so I might be able to size down for a tighter fit. My use case is powerlifting and casual wear.
What are the weights on these shoes? I'm looking for the lightest pair that I can get for running that also has a little bit of stack height to prevent put irritation when running on really rough substances like big gravel. I know that's a hard combination to find given that you usually have one or the other, a lot of cushion but not a lot of ground feel or very little cushion with sometimes too much ground feel. @@thatfitfriend I could see that but that was the logic behind the design. That said, I think these are buy far the best for price, weight, performance. For others reading this, swap out the insoles on these for 3mm and you'll feel much more grounded on deadlifts. They really need to offer multiple insoles like Icarus does.

Hi! I need help. I was using five fingers for all my training but I broke my foot with the bike so I need something without the fingers because they’re not animate straight and I have problem fitting them. I can find vivo shoes beastly here so which model is the best for running and training outdoor calisthenics on concrete, asphalt and light dirt? Thanks a lot
Hey Jake, I train strongman and I’m looking to use a barefoot shoe for carry events. (Farmers, frame, yoke, etc.) what xero shoe can handle the traction but light and quick enough because technically carry events are races. Timed how fast you can get from a to b. If you’re not familiar with strongman I guess a more comparable exercise is sled pushes on concrete. So I’m not sure to get running or gym shoe from xero? Reason I’m looking for a barefoot style is because picking up frames and farmers it’s similar to starting in a trap bar deadlift position so being low to the ground as possible as you know in deadlifts is an advantage. I’m so back and forth on a few xero shoes, help!!! Thank you
I know strongman, homie! I used to work at BarBend and covered the sport for yearrrssss. Such a sick strength sport. I'd go HFS (original model) or Zelen/Prio. All of those should be okay!
Hey Jake, I love your reviews. What's the best way to measure my foot to get an accurate shoe size? I could always go to a shoe store but I also have a wider foot so buying shoes online is a little bit of a gamble. Im also interested in a shoe for more lifting based activites. Any advice is appreciated. 😊
Hit up any store that sells shoes and use a Brannock scale. This will give you an idea of how wide your foot is. You can also measure at home by tracing your barefoot on paper then cross-referencing those measurements with size charts :)
@thatfitfriend Thanks for the tip!! I had my dad measure my foot and found the measurement in cm. Hopefully that and your fit recommendations will get me where I want. Thanks again!!!
Would you still recommend the 360 for pickleball and the gym? I'm also a big tennis player too and wanted it because of the laterally support it offers and the sole durability.

Trying to get a feel for how wide they would be in a 10.5 +/-. Most barefoot shoes seem to come in at the 3.0-4.1 inch mark in my size and I need more like 4.5-4.6...lol.
