Does he have so many children that his paternal subconscious is motivating him to fulfill his role of being the bread maker of the family to sustain them after his death?
Watch how Patrick looked at him before he asked him about his "spiritual connection". PBD obviously saw that he was uncomfortable so Patrick took control of the convo and noticed how culty his response was. You clearly have no idea how money works if that’s what you think. For a nation state to trade with gold or silver first you have the problems associated with storage and security and then transport. If nations are trading across oceans - the cost to ship physical metal back and forth across oceans for every trade of goods and services is expensive and impractical, necessitating a credit layer run by trusted third party which is how we got into the mess we are in today - the trusted third party couldn’t be trusted.
Secondly, gold has a 2% inflation rate per year due to mining so it doesn’t hold value unlike bitcoin which has predictable inflation rate of 1.4% which ENDS at 21 million bitcoin.
It requires no third party, cannot be controlled by anyone, higher prices can’t make people mine it faster unlike gold, and it allows instant settlement across vast distances and costs nothing to store.
It is engineered to be money unlike gold and silver which worked okay in an analogue world - they are a shitty money in a global trading digital world.

Saylor, and the other devs that are accused of being Satoshi, are _collectively_ "Satoshi." Bitcoin often leads the market in a bull run, and once it stabilizes and reaches new highs, we’ll start to see altcoins catching up. How is Bitcoin "perfect money"? If I bought a pizza with Bitcoin when it first came out, I would have thrown away tens of millions if not BILLIONS of dollars. Bitcoin is supposedly going to keep going up in value, so I basically still can't spend it without losing massive amounts of money in future returns. And in the short term it has been very volatile. The perfect money MAINTAINS a STABLE purchasing power over time. That sounds a lot more like GOLD and SILVER. A 1 ounce gold coin has approximately the same purchasing today as it has had throughout history. The fact that governments have clipped coins & mixed in cheap metals does not reduce the value of gold but of GOVERNMENTS

@@reaganviking Ahh let me think about your reply for a second - should anyone take notice of what you have to say as a comment on BTC or should they perhaps weight cred to someone with Saylors proven record... backed by some fairly notable achievements...
Double major in aeronautics and astronautics and science, technology and society, laying the foundation for his future innovative approach to business.
Co-founded MicroStrategy, - under Saylor’s guidance, MicroStrategy rapidly gained prominence in the tech industry, offering data analytics tools that empowered organizations to make informed data-based decisions. In 1992, MicroStrategy won a $10 million contract with McDonald’s to provide analytics for the efficiency of its promotions.
In 1998 MicroStrategy went on to win a $10 million contract with McDonald’s.
Saylor is also an investor, founder, inventor and author featured on The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal best seller lists.
In 2012, Saylor also authored the bestseller book The Mobile Wave: How Mobile Intelligence Will Change Everything, discussing the impact of mobile, cloud and social networks and the rise of Big Tech companies like Apple, Amazon, Facebook and Google as transnational technology leaders
Another Saylor initiative.... Saylor.org that was introduced in 2008 is The Saylor Foundation’s free education program for over a million students. Oh, and he also has 40 patents listed to his name. He is credited with creating relational analytics and works in web, distributed and mobile analytics, cloud, mobile identity and the Internet of Things.
His achievements go on and and on and on. Angel.com, one of the first cloud-based interactive voice response service providers, (amazing in itself) which he later sold to Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories in 2013 for $110 million.
      A cool $110 Million - what have you sold for $1000 @reaganviking - aside a second-hand old car???? Naf all I net!
But now comes the good bit seeing we are talking about something you know so much about - BTC.
Let me cut and past this bit: QUOTE: "MicroStrategy then became the first publicly traded company to buy Bitcoin as part of its capital allocation strategy. In August 2020, MicroStrategy disclosed its Bitcoin holdings in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing. In a press release at the time, Saylor said, “Our investment reflects our belief that Bitcoin, as the world’s most widely-adopted cryptocurrency, is a reliable store of value and an attractive investment asset with more long-term appreciation potential than holding cash.” UNQUOTE"
As of October 2020, he disclosed he personally bought 17,732 Bitcoin for $175 million. What have you in your stash of crypto @reaganviking??? $500 of BTC?
And how about some accolades - ???
Saylor has received several awards and recognition, including the KPMG Washington High-Tech Entrepreneur of the Year award in 1996 and the Ernst & Young Software Entrepreneur of the Year in 1997.
Red Herring Magazine listed him as one of its Top 10 Entrepreneurs for 1998. Saylor was also listed as a 1999 “Innovator Under 35” by the MIT Technology Review.
What about your compilation of accolades @reaganviking? Did you get a particapation award in grade 6 for turning up on time maybe? Or you kept your crowns inside the lines in art class of grade 5 maybe?
Now what was the original question here? Oh yeh - something about you being the only one that can think critically and that BTC "is NOT perfect money: it's an investment. Or a pyramid scheme. How to make a block chain is well known so ANY finite token can have the security & peer-to-peer transferability that Bitcoin has."
Lol - you might think you can think critically, you might even think you have a newsworthy comment, but one thing you obviously don't know is what you don't know and it is pretty evident you know squat, you're making things up and you are glaringly obviously demonstrating you aint the critical thinker you think you are.
So, I have only taken notice of what you have to say as a comment on BTC to make my reply to the garbage you posted and feel quite comfortable in giving weight cred to someone with Saylors proven record.
You might do well to actually spend the time necessary - 100's perhaps 1000's of hours learning a tad more about BTC before you profess to know so much about it... (because you don't). :)

Michael Saylor just confirmed Satoshi is the CIA. Satoshi Nakamoto in Japanese is CIA and CIA contracted MIT to research cashless payments before 2008. Michael Saylor feels confident (& so do regulators) that MicroStrategy won’t pose a threat to the system if bitcoin were to crash. He has billions on the life of his money and many many others money from bankers to the common man shareholders. They ALL know this Bitcoin thing isn’t going anywhere bc they know the CIA is behind it. We debased every currency in the world during the GFC due to the 2008 bailouts. The world saw we own them and can destroy their economies - BITCOIN is the PLAN B to the dollar. The dollar is going to collapse when BRICS go live but the US can still maintain control of world financial system with “Satoshi” 1 million BTC plus the 300k from criminals plus potentially 1 million more over 5 years. The US government would effectively own over 10% of bitcoin supply and more than anyone could ever own. Very cunning..

In Japanese, "Shi" (市 or 死, depending on the kanji used) can mean "city" or "death," respectively.
"Sato" (佐藤, さとう) is a common Japanese surname, often meaning "helpful wisteria" or "assistant wisteria," depending on the kanji used.
So, "Shi Sato" could potentially be a name, such as "Sato" being the surname with the "Shi" prefix meaning "city" or "help" or "death," depending on the kanji used.

The name Satoshi (聡, 智, or 佐藤) is common in Japan and has various meanings depending on the kanji used.
聡 (Satoshi): This kanji means "wise" or "intelligent." It is often used to refer to someone who is sharp-minded or perceptive.
智 (Satoshi): This kanji also means "wisdom" or "knowledge," often associated with someone who is wise or knowledgeable.
佐藤 (Sato + To): This is one of the most common Japanese surnames. In this case, "佐" (Sato) means "help" or "assist," and "藤" (To) refers to the wisteria flower, so the surname can be interpreted as "helpful wisteria."
      Other Meanings:
Depending on the kanji, Satoshi could also have meanings related to "perception," "insight," or other traits associated with intelligence or leadership.

That was a very emotional response to a simple, yet impactful moment. It seemed more that Saylor didn’t want to lie, but could not share information that he has or thinks he knows. It could be an issue of massive proportions or just a very awkward moment that when looking back, someone would think, I could have responded better than that rant. Bitcoin’s strength is its network effect. People accept it as digital gold. Like gold, it has no value but what we humans place upon it. That’s it. The technology that Bitcoin is built upon can be copied, but someone can’t copy the network effect. So, Bitcoin is special because it is first and the acceptance by many as a digital gold (network effect). This conversation showed me a weakness in Bitcoin from its greatest advocate. The weakness is that confidence (network effect) could be impacted with knowledge of its origins. However, does it really matter who created it? Not technically, but some people will care anyway.

11:00 he loses the plot when he starts talking about Bitcoin being "digital energy" and comparing it to electricity or oil. The reason electricity and oil have value is because we consume them to fuel other things. Bitcoin isn't a fuel, it can be replaced by any other token or marker and achieve the same function. Take away someone's electricity and oil and they become cold, dark, and immobile. Take away someone's Bitcoin and nothing happens.
