I’ve spent literally 10 years perfecting this recipe. I’ve poured through different videos and techniques. But my BEST tips and tricks were always from here
I made this recipe with fresh onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic. And without any food colour. It came out soooo good! Health and taste together. Thanks chef :)
Hey VahChef! Made this, took precisely 5 mins and was loved by everyone who had it! thanks! Perfect for people like me who dont have time to be in the kitchen for long! thanks a lot!
omg! I was skeptical, but tried this and was absolutely amazed! I changed the recipe just a little - added 2 tsp each of tomato paste and ketchup and used shallow fried tofu instead of paneer. Thanks so much! How can I find the other quick recipes that you have? I did NOT use the fired onions and did not miss them!
I made this dish using tomato ketchup, whey, and sour cream instead of milk. Came out so good with home made paneer! Fastest tastiest paneer dish. Thankyou chef for teaching !
I have made this dish several times now with a couple of tweaks (e.g. added cashew paste and a little bit of honey). It turned out to be beautiful...Thanks chef!!
You are the most inspirational person ever!!! I started to cook only after watching your videos. This recipe was made by my wife today and it turned exactly like the one I used to have in a restaurant when I was a kid. Brought back the old days!!! Thanks, just had a wonderful dinner!!
Really? Wow. I'm going to try this. I always crave for that restaurant wala paneer butter masala taste that I so relished as a kid. The gravy rarely tastes like that these days. I'm definitely trying this recipe.
Just made this and it is fantastic. You could easily substitute in some chicken or prawns if you want to. EXACTLY the same as any butter masala dish from the take away for maybe a quarter of the price! Also, I found using 1 tsp ketchup and 2 tsp tomato puree and adding maybe 1/2 tsp of turmeric negated the need for food colouring. As someone previously mentioned it certainly isn't the most healthy indian dish around, but for an occasional treat it is well worth cooking. Thank you Vah Chef!
Even to this day, I love this recipe and come back here to watch it, every time i make it. Its so popular with kids, they ask me to make it, even my friends kids!!❤
really amazing and quick recipe vahchef.....But can you please tell that if we don't have fried onion and guests have arrived without any prior notice, and if we wish to cook this but we don't have time to deep fry the onions, so can we saute the onions after adding butter and then after sauteing onions add GG paste???
I have tried this recipe for the first time for our today's dinner, it came out very well, yummy. also i added a cup of chopped carrot, green peas, some Pudina leaves for making it more thicker sufficient for our big family. I like this flavour. thanks for your great recipe
My Paneer was a little crumbly, but was only my first attempt :) the butter sauce was divine- as in ZERO left overs and plates were licked clean and the bowl it was cooked in wiped out with bread! After i cleared the plates i made up nearly a liter of the sauce and it's in the fridge for tomorrow for when i fry up some chicken. Thank you so much for sharing this (surprisingly easy) butter sauce... have the recipe memorized now and can't wait to try some more of your recipes... thanks again.
Hi Chef, I made this dish of Paneer Butter Masala and it turned out to be really great. My husband liked it a lot . This dish is very easy to make though when you taste it it seems like a lot of effort and a lot of ingredients are gone into it. I used fresh tomatoes in the dish along with just one tbsp of tomato ketchup and it tasted out great. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful recepie
i have tried few recipes of yours now. they are really easy to follow and ideal for some one like me trying to learn few new things. thank you very much.
This the greatest recipe I have found. With this recipie I have cooked the paneer butter masala many times. This dish has become my signature dish. Thanks for sharign this secret recipie.
This is such quick and easy recipe and it tastes just like restaurant! I added a teaspoon of kaju paste to make it a little thicker. It tastes awesome! Thank for making cooking such an easy task!
After watching Venkatesh bhat's panner butter masala. I'm listening vahchef panner butter masala. Vahchef is always teaches beautiful and his recipes are our gifts . Both are awesome.
I absolutely loveee watching his post food consumption expression. Gawd he's so funny, accent n all. Too cute, it helps me recall his recipes. :) love ya!
Dear Vah Chef, I have seen many videos of Paneer Butter Masala but, I'll tell you your's is the Best and with out any complications in cooking its really works. I am your all time fav... My whole family including my little 1 yr daughter too is your fan ha ha ha.... Please keep posting delicious food as always...
i tried the recipe and the flavours came out to be wonderful ..the only problem was that the tomato paste i used had citric acid as preservative in it ,and because of that the milk curdled a bit. is there any alternative to it ?
Your expiration after eating was very very nice, and when you eat that before you react we will react first and we will feel that taste ,my mother is big fan of u sir and my sister will react that taste with out eating that food which is prepared by you
Question about the ketchup -- the ketchup we get in India is a lot more tart and vinegary, and slightly salty (which is actually in line with the "traditional" form of ketchup)... whereas in the U.S., ketchup has been influenced by what Heinz originally sold, resulting in a product which is very sweet and syrupy with a weaker bite of vinegar. Do you get a better result with one or the other? Seems to me that the sweetness of "U.S." ketchup might be preferable, but it could also be overpowering.
Sir, this might come as a boring repetition, but i had to say it too. i tried this recipe just now with tofu instead. Initially i had burnt my onions so had to start all over again..so it took a bit longer than it should have, but in the end it was worth it. It turned out even better than what we order in the restaurants. I am not really good with Indian dishes but today I'm feeling pretty smug. Compared to other cooking videos, you make cooking sound so much fun and EASY. Thank you so much.
wow Chef, even 8 yes ago; u cooked with the same passion. and Once again the best part was when you taste it...but wait this time the best part was "you looked sooooooo cute.." I am trying this today. will post how it turned out..☺☺😊
I make tomato purie first. Add ginger garlic paste and garam masala to fried masala ingredients and finely chopped or ground onions. Instead of milk I add cashew paste ... Mmm heavenly taste.. I don't fry paneer . Only then the paneer will absorb salt and other flavours. Once you fry paneer you can pick them out of your plate instead of eating. Thank you
