Yeah it sure as hell does. None of those soundtracks are even memorable, like this one is. Maybe something from Spider-Man 2 (Garfield version) because Zimmer also worked on that film.

What's wrong with the set pieces? They look realistic. The camera work is also pretty freaking good (Superman flying out the Wayne tower for example).

Speak for yourself, i was on the edge of my seat because of the sheer intensity and emotion of the finale (Superman breaking through the World Engine was emotional and inspiring).

This one [film] gets better with age. Those childhood and Zod moments, in particular, are solid gold. Certainly didn't deserve one-tenth of the hate it got.
There are certainly a few things to fix (or just the less said about, the better), but I actually saw the first time in 2013... Loved it. I really am gonna miss Henry...
This theme represents, more than hope, it represents, strength and empowerment, the belief that anything and everything is, possible carried with each note, you feel a sense of boundlessness and it just fills you with pride and confidence in your abilities

Man of Steel was one of those movies that changed me. Man of Steel really caught my attention and it was my first movie I went to by myself and WOW. It was an amazing experience and just one of my favorites. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Snyder, Cavill and everyone involved for this masterpiece!

I love Marvel and the MCU, but I enjoyed watching Man of Steel and there's just something compelling about the film I just can't point my finger at.
The fact that it's a superman and film and superman is one of the most inspiring superheroes of all time
Almost everything. It had things that didn't make any sense, but it was a very well done superhero movie with a soundtrack that crushes anything Marvel has ever made.

Because there is a HUGE difference between what YOU think and what actually IS and this is coming from both a DC and Marvel fan, who enjoyed so very, VERY much Man of Steel. DC on the other hand has made villains who are understandable by just dialogue alone. Their motivations are quite clear and the characters themselves aren't one dimensional. Doesn't matter if you're a marvel or DC fanboy, what matters is whether or not you understand complex storytelling or are just in it for the action. I personally had high hopes for Age of Ultron but I'd rather watch Fantastic Four(2015) over that any day.

You mention some theories, yet you use no specific arguments to support those claims and when i'm about to correct you, you made the biggest mistake you possibly could, of comparing Age of Ultron to Fantastic Four. After all, Marvel keeps improving it's movies, while DC keeps fraking them up, like Superman vs Batman. Or pg13 Suicide Squad.
But, i will use the two best arguments that no one can possibly argue with. First, which company makes the biggest blockbusters. And second, which company makes the biggest blockbusters, hence, which movies are more popular and interesting.

Went to watch this live in Nottingham yesterday evening for a live orchestra. Tribute to both Mr John Williams and Mr Hans Zimmer. This was by the best musical performance of the night. Absolutely outstanding. The roof nearly came off. The whole orchestra team was phenomenal.

Look I am a Marvel fan by far, and I never really had a thing for DC. But wow this soundtrack and movie was what made me like Superman. Not because of his powers, but because of the way they portrayed his character. Bruce said it himself, he is more human than any other justice league member.

Not really, this is more of a never give up music, notice how it starts out positive , then at 2:13 it gets all sad, then at 3:00 It picks up, being even more positive. Thats why it fit superman's flight scene so well!

This soundtrack inspires me so much, and when I watch man of steel the Score of Hans Zimmer and the work of Gary Hecker as the Foley artist and his team created some mind blowing sound effects,for the film.

Superman kicks Batman's, Iron Man's asses any day. Anyone can behave like a superhero with the kind of money Batman and Iron Man have. But it takes real strength to have superpowers yet live a humble and patient life that Clark Kent lived.

It's amazing how much Zimmer can put into a single song, much, much more than just sounds. This music means everything you are capable of doing. You can do whatever your limits say, you just have to know your limits and become a much better 'you'.
