- This song was so awesomely utilized in Superman's battle with Zod at the climax of Man of Steel. But as a song itself, it's too short! So here's the extended version.

That's pretty much specifically a Hanz Zimmer thing.
Had my jaw dropped the entire fight! More so when sups snapped zods neck.
That bit where they're falling back into the atmosphere and they look like shooting stars as they crash through the buildings and the guitar is wailing... man when I watch that scene I look like Nick Frost watching Point Break.
What's great about Hans Zimmer music is that it perfectly fits every theme and character that it's meant to hit but at the same time has that ability to have so many different scenes to go with it. Just close your eyes and it'll appear.

I had to come back here after listening to Elfman's score for Justice League. I am absolutely distraught at how we went from THIS, to a generic recycled sound. This inspires me, it makes my heart beat, it fills me with hope and energy. Justice League deserved better.

listening closely, this just embodies a sense of tragedy, that superman had to sacrifice his innocence and race, the weight of the world on supermans shoulders, the tension from the fact he had to stop zod as quickly as possible other wise everyone would perish...

The BvS Ultimate Edition shows that part. Too bad it wasnt in the theatrical version. After watching the Ultimate Edition and rewatch the theatrical, its clear how better UE was.

Supermsn vs Zod was the best fight in the DCEU by far, it had an amazing soundtrack the CGI was just brilliant and Zod actually put up a fight he wasn't tossed around like a rag doll like Steppenwolf, but if you don't agree I understand everyone has their own opinion.

I feel like The Man of Steel music would work amazing with a dark and gritty Flash movie(s) because the music is real fast paced and feels like your heart would be pumping in the theater as well as it sounds like the music is running, if that makes sense.
Now with Snydercut Flash has a song like that. In the scene where he goes back in time.

In BvS, this theme suits the character of the movie and brings emotion. You can feel like crying.
Especially used during the final confrontation with doomsday. Those last strings of chords as the spear gets plunged in rings so loudly in my ear
So sad that Hans Zimmer retired from scoring superhero movies, but I can't blame the guy for getting tired of it, plenty of other movies deserve his work.

Haven't you listened to Man of Steel OST and Batman OST from the recent movies? all orchestral/Epic sounding tracks; to add, that song is familiar to the Maxtrix, they will not reuse it for another movie, especially a big movie. It's good where it is. It seems Movies like this get their own Soundtrack created by someone like Hanz Zimmer or Clint Mansell or even Philip Glass. If you do not know Clint Mansell, he did Smokin Aces Dead Reckoning (least scence song), The Fountain OST and the RUclips Famous Requiem for a Dream and Philip Glass did Watchmen's Pruit igoe and prophecies with other tracks. And what's funny, Hanz Zimmer Did Dark night OST and Man of Steel, so it would only make sense to do Batman vs Superman.
Dominicus of New York I know who Phillip Glass is, his Illusionist soundtrack is beautiful. I know who Clnt Mansell is, he did Requiem for a dream, Stoker, moon, leaving earth OST from mass effect 3 and much more. I also know Hans Zimmer did the man of steel soundtrack with junkie XL aka Tom Holkensberg and the dark knight trilogy, you are telling me stuff I already know. Obviously they will make the music for BVS I was just saying imagine the scene where they fight with the Navara score it is exciting to imagine regardless if they use it or not. I wasn't saying what they should and should not do, just Navara sounds cool when you imagine them fighting.
This scene was a little sad because Superman knew that if he killed zod then he really would be the last of his kind....and right after he just found out he wasn't alone too

Transpose it to C major and add a few '1' notes and it's the same melody at the start of "What Are you going to do..."

HENRY CAVIL IS THE GREATEST SUPERMAN SINCE CHRISTOPHER REEVES.( This is my shortest version of this write up. I am talking from my heart and IT IS THE TRUTH)
Now, I am willing to say Henry cavil IS SUPERMAN because,
1) HE NEVER GIVES UP- No Superman ever gives up..... It is true but the thing is,... No Superman is ever in such a semi realistic MATURE world.A world that finds it hard to trust(as we would in real life) no Superman is EVER! in that situation
And yet, Henry's Superman has the heart and HOPE to keep going and trying to protect the untrusting&trusting humans and die trying . He LOVES his world (earth) and will keep trying
Through the hate ,through the allegations, the speculations, the humans fear of him to inspire and protect. He will NEVER give up! Even in this version of the world and all the emotional, mental,psychological and physical pain being Superman causes him.He will never give up trying to be who us the viewers see as SUPERMAN
2) HE LITERALLY IS HOPE - After his death, his HOPE inspired Batman and Wonder woman to never give up on the world again(as Superman never gave up on the world)
His HOPE made Batman& Wonder woman create the Justice league, and stop at nothing to protect the world.
His HOPE made them try to bring him back to life (I say "try" because that is hope. It comes before the plan & before the result. HOPE is daring to try at all....... That !.... Is how Zack Snyder saw Superman) and they successfully brought him back! Thank God !
His HOPE inspired the whole world and as Zack Snyder said,"in the end Superman would have brought the whole world together."
3) HIS HUMANITY - Zack Snyder literally said something like, "The movie is called "Man of steel" so we wanted to focus on the MAN aspects over the Super"in an interview.
And he succeeded! . Henry's Superman is family & friend oriented ! They are the wind beneath his cape! The encouraging voice in his ear! The reason he initially chose earth!Jonathan,jor el,Martha, Lois,Jon(the baby he would have had) Lara el. As Clark once said to Lois "You are my world" beautiful.....
He loves the world and does not blame them for their cautiousness . He is a perfect SUPERMAN, but his Clark Kent/kal el aspects make his the greatest( since Christopher Reeves)
4) HE IS TRULY GOOD - I am talking from the very bottom of my heart with all of this. He is not broody.

DCEU/DC Snyderverse. And "dark" is a loose term. They are "mature"
They are heroes because they see the real (uncensored) horrors and injustice in the world and fight it ....
They are TRUE heroes because they can always RISE ABOVE IT !!! And in a realisticish/fantastical/down right dangerous universe they are in, it is Noble (in and of itself) that they keep fighting. Trying to be better, right thier wrongs and devote their lives to save the said Universe.
They are not dark & broody ! They are TRULY GOOD

Zack's thrilling ,emotionally depth, deep movies set up the perfect ark for Superman and EVERYONE ELSE!
The movies are designed to be deep and character development driven to create a greater impact during heroic and profound moments which is what creates a MASTERPIECE! when done well(and Zack did it well)

One of the 3d graphics workers has officially stated that Doomsday isn't in the film and that he'll most likely be in a sequel because he's too damn powerful for a movie this early.
