Loved this video. Dracaena's are so underrated. They are majestic and beautiful. Thank you for this video and for all of the information you gave on how to care for the plants.
I was so excited when I saw you had posted a plant video! You are one of the few people I trust when it comes to plant advice. I’ve been having trouble with my newly acquired Monstera Deliciosa and this video was very helpful. Also your White Ghost Euphorbia is absolutely stunning. Probably the most eye catching one I’ve ever seen. I hope to get my paws on one soon! 👏🏾👌🏾
Minimalist Mondays - I for some reason am not a plant person and as we are becoming minimalists adding indoor plants stresses me out. I just dont have a green thumb. Thank you for your video 🌿💕
Hello, Christine! Hope all is well. Just want to let you know that I absolutely love the direction your RUclips channel has taken. I, too, was reeled into buying so many unnecessary makeup products during the beginning stages of RUclips makeup influencers. No more! Thank you for taking the time to make these informative videos. Best, Angela
Madagascar is so special because it is so closed off from the world, which means it basically has its own line of evolution. So there are so many species that only exist on that island.
Thank you for this! I am moving in about one year from NYC to West Texas! I am new to the houseplant world but I love finding the ones that will be hardy in the high desert. I love all the video ideas you talked about, I will be watching for them!
I love watching your plant videos!! I love in frigid Canada and struggle to keep my plants alive. Please do a video of hardy plants that only require very little sunlight.
I'd love to see a video where you show what glossy leaves vs a bit dehydrated/matte leaves look like! Also, thank you for making these videos! I love your aesthetic and I generally have a black thumb, but I really would like to start getting some plants to liven my home up!
Yes please, I really miss your plant videos! I look forward to your trips to nurseries too. You are always very informative, and show us a lot of interesting tips as well 🥰. Tip for you, you might find some really nice houseplants in regular grocery stores, I’ve seen other plant hauls were they find beautiful plant for cheap at the grocery store 🙀. I really miss your plant videos 😢 Happy Planting💜🌺🌸🌵
I love these videos. Going to Florida this week for 8 months. Our home has sun shields over the windows. What plants can I have inside? And any ideas for out side plants I'd love. And I love when you talk to your plants like your kids, because they are.
This was very informative! You have a fantastic collection, and I love how they make a room feel fresh and cozy!! Now if I just had a "green thumb". 😒 I do better with the cactus and air plants. Your sneak peeks of the rooms are nice...need another house tour soon!! 🥰😘😍🌱🍃🌿🌴🌱🌿🍃🌵🌿🌿🍀🌴🌱🍃🌾🌵🌴🌴
Zz plant definitely. They grow fast once theyre established. They can start to look sad when its lacking light, but ive seen ones that hasnt been watered for years still be alive
New subscriber here... love all your videos... do you have a video on how to pot all of these type of plants? Like what type of soil is best etc. Thanks
Hi. I am really appreciative of your plant videos. Very informative. I am just getting into planting and am absolutely clueless. My main concerns are soil and fertilizers. You mentioned you use several different types of soil. What are the typical brands that you suggest for both soil and fertilizer? Would realy appreciate a vidoe specifically dedicated to soils and fertilizers. ❤❤❤
You're so knowledgeable about plants! I have several of those plants: a schefflera, philodendron, and a pony tail palm. I just moved (locally) and the movers mangled my plants so badly. My yucca lost a head and my pony tail palm's "leaves" are all bent down at the top. Do you have any suggestions about what I could do for him? He looks so sad. I moved just over a month ago, and he hasn't come back. 🙁
Yes a plant video would be great weekly. I learn so much from you on plants. I know grow desert roses, with out you saying anything I would never have known there was such a plant.
Hopefully this isn’t a boring video idea, but I would honestly love to visually see what you consider “low light” compared to “bright light.” I have a south facing bedroom window that only gets a couple hours of morning sun, so I’m nervous to keep any kind of real plant in there. Especially after what u said about them tolerating vs thriving 😕
I had a small one of those red edged dracena plants buut took it back to the store a few weeks later when I realized how toxic it was to my cats, there are many I cant have.
Thanks for all of the tips. I have learned a lot about plants and succulents from you over the years and most of my plants are doing great. But I recently bought a Croton plant which was shaped as a topiary and it’s about 3 feet tall. It had beautiful long skinny bright leaves all over the top of it but then within a week or two of bringing it home it started to drop all of its leaves. I researched it online and they said this is pretty typical when it changes an environment or is stressed. Another stressor could have been that I noticed spider mites on it which I assume came with the plant because none of my other plants have spider mites. I sprayed it with Neem oil. That seems to have worked. My question is...have you grown this plant? Any tips? Should I return it to Home Depot where I bought it or should I give it a chance?
The IVY here needs to be cut back. From the cuttings, take off a couple of leaves, then root them in water only for about 5 to 6 months, then plant the rooted IVY in a rich soil. They LOVE water. I have my IVY since 1986, cut and divided many times. I love this plant.
You have found your calling. Keep these videos coming but even more basic for people who want to start entering plant life into their homes.
YES, plant video day every week!!!!!
The plants, the decor, the host... all so beautiful.

Looks like scheflerra actinophylla/Brassia I think.
I was literally just thinking, “what plants could I buy that would be extremely hard to kill”. Thanks Christine!😆
Zz plant definitely. They grow fast once theyre established. They can start to look sad when its lacking light, but ive seen ones that hasnt been watered for years still be alive
MegaSocky Thank you for the suggestion! 😁
Amazing
You need to open up your own garden/succulent center :)
Love your hair.
Great info.

I really enjoyed this video. I appreciate also if you be sure to tell people which plants are toxic to pets.
Thank you! I have a few of these!❤❤
How do you keep track of watering schedule for all your different plants. Just going by sight and soil touch each day?
You're so knowledgeable about plants! I have several of those plants: a schefflera, philodendron, and a pony tail palm. I just moved (locally) and the movers mangled my plants so badly. Wat is the tree on you're room? Do you have birds?
Please make more plant videos!
I had a aloe plant and learned it’s very poisonous to dogs 😢 I’ll have to look into the zebra cactus!
Yes a plant video would be great weekly. I learn so much from you on plants. I know grow desert roses, with out you saying anything I would never have known there was such a plant.
What soil do you use, ?❤💕

Fun fact: Poinsettias are also in the Euphorbia family and have the same toxic sap. :)
that Morticia Addams chair :D
I had a small one of those red edged dracena plants buut took it back to the store a few weeks later when I realized how toxic it was to my cats, there are many I cant have.
Air plant video please !
Hi Christine a question, Do you use only filtered water on your plants?

I would LOVE to have that euphorbia :( been looking for it so long and can't get it anywhere in poland :(
Thumbs up if you want to meet ALL the plant pets!
Which of these are safe for pets?
What plant did you have that is tall and broad leaves, but just has a water basin and no dirt? it was in a recent video that you posted
That is a dieffenbachia. Also referred to as a dumb cane.
Yes look up dieffenbachia "tropic snow"
@@BirdKisser i'm not sure if that's it, because it looked more like a tree but thanks so much!
@@BirdKisser yes it is I just didn't realize that it could have a stalk like that and i really liked the look just being in water

Do you ever think of getting banana plant? If you do I am so curiouse to find out how to take care of it?

New to your channel. This is just a suggestion. No rudeness intended :)
It would be great if you gave the common name and if they are safe for pets.
Rain barrels are now unlawful here
Can I be your plants for a week...
☺😊🌵🌱👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
