Thank you a lot! I loved following your past tutorial. And I learned it by heart haha
Unfortunately the most recent vroid characters won't work... :/ I learned about vRoid2pmx when I noticed it wouldn't work anymore and now I'll be even more positive while doing it since I have now your tutorial for using it!! :D

I’m happy those helped you :D I didn’t know that about the newer vRoid versions. There is also the Unity way for those

@@DenomRs The Unity way just won't work for me anymore... hence the reason I started using vroid2pmx

    • @DenomRs

That’s unusual. It still works for me with the newest vRoid versions. Here are some of the points that must be in mind when using that method:
      -Unity 2019 version
-UniVRM must be at most the 0.58 version
-Export vRoid model in uniVRM 0.0
-If only the textures are exported, reset Unity by closing it and opening it again
      -It takes longer to convert

You can always use lower VroidStudio version for vrm export then univrm will most likely work in unity again.
Most don't mention this, but it appears some changes happened towards VroidStudio 1.29.
I suggest always exporting via Vroid 1.0 (it has forwards compatibility mostly. All my vroid models from 1.29 work fine)

Hello! I have a question! So I'm trying to get my model into MMD, I'm going through all the steps with the converter and the tailor program. I'm having a hard time fixing clipping with a tail that I added in unity. Perhaps it was the order of how I converted the model. I exported from vroid, and then loaded it up in unity to change the tail bone attachment from the head to the hip, exported that. Then I went through the vrm2pmx converter and tailor, loaded up the model in mmd and had issues with the tail. The tail btw is made from head hair since there is no tail option in vroid. I also had an issue with one of my models having a bone attacked to the wrong arm so it stretched the sleeve. How do I fix that?

Hello, I see. I´m familiar with the tail method. If it´s only the clipping, make sure the tail Rigid bodies are big enough to cover the tail area and that the colliders are set to collide with the body.
As for the sleeve, select the bone that´s out of place and make sure is connected to the right bone. You can check the parent ID selecting the bone

    I have a huge issue, they program keeps giving me either "error 66" or "error 160" ? It works on the textures and everything fine but I don't know why this happens with two specific models, It works with previous ones but just not two new ones I did. I followed every step (made sure it's 0.0 and even tried with 1.0 to be sure) and I don't know why which is the worst part, since the software isn't saying anything aside from "error" and that's it ;_;

nvm I tested it, weird thing is that the latest version of Vroid (1.22) gives this weird error to the vroid2pmx converted making it unable to. The model I did was on version 1.15 and it worked perfectly, so in case anyone in the future has this issue. Use Vroid 1.15 or try previous versions to 1.22 and see how it works!

I wouldn't recommend to only rely on that tool.
It destroys the facial expressions (see: delusional vmd) in a spectacular manner.
I will give it tho, that it has the best support for torso and leg bones.

I will check that motion. Personally I prefer y Unity converter since it keeps the physics and the model can be reduced in file size easier
