Undervolt while maintaining stock clock speed Thats im doing in rx 6600 Its more reliable than, undervolt + underclock By the what are u doing is undervolt and underclocking right?? Not just undervolt only?? Good video by the way, i like it
I use my gigabyte 5700 xt on 1800 mhz on 0,9v. It consumes 90-100w in games and hotspot is 65-70 degrees, gpu is about 57-60 degrees. Fan is 2000 rpm (quite silent). It is incredible card.
It's nuts to see how efficient the RDNA cards can be haha I have the same thing with my 6750 XT base wattage use is around 200/210 @2618Mhz and 1.2V under clocking/volt it to 2500Mhz and 1.14 volts only Costs a few FPS but the efficiency gains are large haha around the 160 Watt on average and the fans are completely silent now ;)
It's like this was made for me. I wanted to undervolt a different card, the RX6800, so it's nice to see how much performance would be lost just for some sort of perspective. I wish there were more people that do this.
I have an RX 5700 flashed with XT bios and 1905MHz @1000mV is exactly the profile I use for gaming getting pretty much the same performance as shown here. On games where i hit over 60FPS and are non competitive (mostly single player) I use 1750MHz @930mV. Card barely gets warm and power consumption hovers around 90-110w depending on the game and how much is happening on screen. Not too shabby for a card that cost me 106USD shipped to my door. RX 5700/5700 XT just can't be beaten on price/performance 👌🏻
On Linux you can also undervolt the VRAM, so the difference will be even higher there Some cards with better silicon can perfectly undervolt to 1.01v or 1V without even underclocking. Also you can push undervolting even further on CPU bound games as the GPU isn't under load
Very good video! I think that if you do a test with gpu undervolt but with memory overclocked to 1850Mhz you will probably get results like the stock one when it comes to FPS.
Very nice difference between undervolt and stock, its sad that underclocking was mandatory for the undervolt, but I really appreciate the information of this video, thanks 😉👍
I have the the 1st model of asus tuf, and im suffering from memory overheating, i had to limit my gpu power 😩 please can suggest me what kind of a heatsink should i get for a replacement?

Yeah undervolt with underclocking:) my card require ~1100mV something to stable stock frequency.
Can't believe this is just uploaded and I stumbled upon searching it. This is great tysm!
There is quite a big lack of quality content like this for specific cards
Thank you for your contribution 👍

Я имею 6700 XT и андервольтнутая потребляет около 120 ватт

A useful comparison to see.

@@NJTechBenchmark Thanks for the video 😁😁
Undervolt for sure. 120-140W undervolted gives you 90% the performance of 210-240W overclocked.
Summary: -10% FPS for -40% Power going from OC to UV
On Linux you can also undervolt the VRAM, so the difference will be even higher there

Man if you're in a smaller room especially in a hotter climate, undervolt could be the only way for you to use your PC on hot days, 130 W over 230 W
True.
Also with SPPT Mod one can undervolt GDDR, from default 1.35v the datasheet shows that it supports 1.25v very easy;
Very nice undervolt
I'm running my 5700 xt card at 962 mv 1900mhz only 4-5 fps loss. My card used to get hotspot temp 110c in stock now it get max 90c
That's a good undervolt!
What is your hotspot temperature when using the Overclock settings?
should be 15c higher.
I have the the 1st model of asus tuf, and im suffering from memory overheating, i had to limit my gpu power 😩 please can suggest me what kind of a heatsink should i get for a replacement?
May be you need to change thermal pads on memory. My dual oc model didn't have any so put some cheap pads and its working nice.
Maybe undervolt + VRAM OC ?
I think this is TUF EVO. Because First ASUS TUF RX 5700 XT was BAD.
nah Its first model. I preorder it when rx 5700 xt launched. I applied new thermal paste and heatsink to cool the memory.
Can u do it with the 6650 XT pls
sure I'll upload.
How to undervolt ... I don't have any idea 😢😢
Msi afterburner
@@katnumb1692 No!NO! AND NO USING AFTERBURNER ON AMD!! Only adrenalin. Conflict
Ok😢 my 5700xt is 1750 CC not even 1850!!
What should I do to overclock it safely
Or what is the best setting for better performance
Help pls!!
check your temps
Underclock for RX 6600 performance
Overclock for RX 6600 XT performance
Keep it Stock for 3060 performance
bro no way will a rx 5700 xt run under last under 70 degree
it easily reach 75+ celcius in 15-20mint gaming.
Because you have to set fan speed manually if you want to get cooler temps. I have 70-71 at max
