If you are doing the Santa thing for Christmas a cute tradition i did with my kids ever since they were babies is that when they woke up every Christmas morning they would have a red dot on their nose, where Rudolph kissed them, so they knew Santa had visited. We took photos of their little red noses when they were babies/toddlers but as they got older they would wake up and immediately have to check each other’s noses out to see if Santa came. They’d be so excited, it was really cute. We also only had Santa bring each child 1 gift (and fill their stockings) so he would have enough for all children. Have fun coming up with traditions for Amber’s first Christmas!
Hello !!! There's nothing to apologize about re: Routines there actually important to do as well needed. Emphasize all you want. Over half the world needs and should have routines and half that does. In the United States, we have a holiday "Thanksgiving" that breaks up Halloween and Christmas span. It's a great in-between and you can leave your autumnal decor up past Halloween and just store the scary stuff.

I’m a iced coffee drinker in the summer, but tea in the winter. I hate day-lights savings time, in the fall it isn’t bad when you fall back, but spring when we fall forward stinks. Autumnal decorations are used for thanksgiving here in the USA, hold the Jack-o-lanterns, but you can have a pumpkin and gourds.
Interesting fact about Amber’s babbles. Babies normally start with b or d sounds (baba or dada) because they’re easier to produce than m or n sounds (like nana or mama). I know you and James will love any sound coming from her but I thought you might like this little bit of info 💗

Could you not make the Burts Bees box into a christmas tradition box? If you do the elf, he goes in to get out every year, every year you get a new decoration and after christmas it goes in there to come back out the year after, photos of yearly family pyjamas, everyone at dinner etc. where you get it out on Dec 1st and it has traditional memories and things to do like the angel for the top of the tree, tag from the real tree. All the memories that you add to?

I have lovely memories of a family Christmas eve hamper my dad used to do when I was a little girl. It was the one thing he took charge of and would use the same box each year and fill it with bits for the family. We always used to open it together early evening on Christmas eve 😍

Try Claire Weekes' books..i found they helped me so much..i never went out of the house and now i can make it uptown to shop when i have to do so.Claire was an Australian Doctor and i actually cried the first day i started to read her books on anxiety..back then no one knew what i had and here she was describing it to a tee.I am Canadian and also got help by telephone to Toronto..Good Luck, i know what hell it is to have to go through the senseless anxiety.
