X-Men Days of Future Past {SPOILERS} : Audience Reactions | May 23, 2014

Another movie night reactions on my 25th birthday. I gotta say a lot of Marvel films comes out in May. And on May 1st I say "Happy Marvel May" Quicksilver had hilarious scenes. I was happy to see Scott Summers again. I notice the audience were happy too. It was a good ending and I can't wait for the last film. X-Men Apocalypse.

This movie on its own is better than anything I’ve seen from the mcu in the past 5 years. This is how you do a comic book movie. It’s just too bad we never got a full movie set in the future, bc those scenes are some of my favorites out of any comic book movie property.

I won't deny that this Quicksilver had the better scene, but I think the one in Age of Ultron was the better character.

issue with AoU quicksilver is that it was done great injustice to that character. Neither is sadly the real Quicksilver, with characteristics from comics. X-men one lacks bit seriousness, while AoU's has stick in his bum (I know, he did make a joke or two, but to me it felt forced). so to say. They had similar amount of screentime, and X-men one had more of dialogue, which helps his character and fans to grow to like him. Hence - injustice.

I didn't mind him lacking seriousness in the X-men version because he was so young, and that was something Wolverine pointed out as well, "When I knew him, he wasn't so young." But I see your point.
