After all, both bikes are built on the Sherpa 450 underpinnings but there is plenty that differentiates them - tech, specs, intent and styling. As for the bike it looks good but nothing spectacular.
Having said that, the colour options are a big disappointed. The base variant white looks the best if you ask me.
I wonder if the meter console on the base model can be sapped with the TFT console of the higher variant?
The other disappointment is definitely the fuel tank capacity. 11 lites on a 450cc motorcycle? Range will be around 270-280 km only. That's disappointing. Even 13 lites would have been respectable.

This one over Himalayan as it might be more flickable and easy to maneuver inside City use and within traffic. And this offset fuel cap looks cool ✨

Especially when there is a thought that the 15 ltr tank on the 350s is barely enough.

@@shaarodmahanta2473 hope so, but as a RE owner, I have experienced cost cutting in weird ways. For example my interceptor stock seats are really bad. And suspension is okish. And ton of electrical issues.When it was launched the price was killer.
@@uthkarshnaik6608 ohh really? Didn't know about the electronic issues tho, i went a month or two ago to book GT 650 but we delayed the plan as there's no such 650twin available for test ride, and now I got to know another issue.

Colous made available are a bit different...base grey i think is the best...rest sticker works are too jazy. Need simple colours....red and golden is also good.
SppedoMeter console is good in any form.

i prefer this one over the Himalyan. Lower seat height. I prefer the analog than the higher variant, more old school feel.

How is the refinement of this engine?
I mostly use bike in city traffic but want a powerful all rounder vehicle. Any heating issues on this engine? Any vibrations? In the seat in the handlebar?

@@AswathReacher no. This was the launch. Bikes should start arriving in dealerships this week. Deliveries from August. @heman, I’ll answer this in my review on ODmag, have an embargo to adhere to.

Apart from 11 ltrs fuel tank they could have offered an USD fork option for the top variant (to enhance the neo retro look and also handling to an extent)

It was highly anticipated motorcycle...yet the fuel tank is off market..its too small.. a lil bigger would have been much bigger

Overall bike is good only one thing is very less which is Fuel Tank At least 14 Ltr. to hona chahiye tha for Lond Riders or Off Roading ke Shaukeen lago ke Liye Bro. RE ne bahut Cost Cutting kiya hai in this Bike Which is not acceptable. It's a Geinuene feedback. What did U think ?
Ground clearance kitna hai Bhai?? Himalayan ka tank Laga sakte Hain kya? Because chhota tank 🥱
@@camper883 ground clearance is 169mm. Theoretically Himalayan ka tank lagana possible hona chahiye, because chassis mainframe common hai. Lekin headstock ka angle jyada upright hai, toh mounting mein dikkat aa sakti hai. Agar mount ho bhi jaye toh steering mein jaoor dikkat ayegi white taking u-turns

How can i get switchable abs on this ??? What parts do i need to change cause i have more flat roads than concrete roads ... so switchable abs is my main concern and the tank tooo atleast 14liter would have been good if possible can i swap himalayan tank ?
@@anneakhil5331 theoretically possible to swap the tank, but the upright headstock could pose an issue. If that doesn’t hinder anything, the steering will definitely be affected, especially the steer lock will be too tight

How is the comfort on this bike?
That white & blue is top model not the mid model.
Also my guess is it will have little less vibes at lower speeds compared to him 450 due to less body fittings. But then with 45T sprocket there will be more vibes at the top. Anyway, sherpa 450 has lot of vibrations, slight change won't make any difference to that. I don't know how big media houses didn't talk about poor refinement at him 450 launch.

I love the classic look of the Interceptor and the sound of that 2 cylinder mill. The only thing that puts me off are the diverging tail pipes when viewed from the rear.
That is a huge turn off for me. I've not been able to get used to that even after so many years.

I mean 15 litres would've made much more sense since Himalayan's was 17 litres so even if they wanted to detune it, they could have. But on a 450 cc engine what in the world RE thought that 11litres of tank space would make any sense.
Tank size should have been atleast 15 ltrs....it would have been best city + highway machine ....tank range with 11 ltrs is too much less ...

11 litre is too small for a bike like that. Also, 120 and 160 section tyre is a weird choice. 110 and 150 has a lot more options available.
Ticks a lot of boxes high bars, silver colour like the dessert sled but looks better hope comes with the Enfield price tag 😅
