Yeah, you can use the mograph text for this and apply the material onto that.
I may do a tutorial on this in the near future.

When I do the first material called emeraled it dont reflect as well. It looks like a dry rasen even though I follwed your exact step; what do I do ? and how do I bring up the render veiw on real time on the side?

When I right-click the hdri it doesn't have C4D tags/compositing. How do I find this?

This comes with every Cinema 4D version. Try clicking exactly on the object name.
