Just watched Endgame yesterday. At first the 3 hours seems intimidating, but it definitely does not feel like 3 hours. It feels like an hour and a half. I kinda wished it was longer.
the movie was beyond amazing and it didn't feel like it was enough with 3hrs and yes just like everyone who actually are fans it didn't feel like 3hrs !
Y'all can sit through 3 GoT episodes but can't sit through Endgame? Interesting Yes, even I find the 3 hour running time daunting at first. But, since I've followed most of the 20+ MCU movies that led to this very ending,I was willing to sit through everything the same way you guys would sit through GoT trying to catch up before a new season; and it was the fastest 3 hours of my life To cram that much story, that much tied loose ends, that much closure, 3 hours was 👌🏻 length. I wouldn't mind if it was longer tbh
You have to be really into the characters to sit through 3 hours, so it's understandable David can't sit through it. My dad likes action but he doesn't know English, he went with me for the actions, he fell asleep for the first half. This movie is basically the most expensive fanservice episode
I've watched it twice and I balled more the second time because I got a week in between to process everything that happened. Hurts man. And the reason some people might react more to fictional characters than to real life people is because of connection. I honestly would not cry if my grandmother died rn (I might cry that my mom lost her mom tho) bc we never really formed an emotional bond. With fictional characters, I've seen them grow while I grew up myself. Even though it's a one-sided relationship, you kind of have to feel for the person on the screen.
This movie really moved me. I was able to let out my inner superhero fangirl and was accepted for it. No one called me childish or stupid. I love how accepted it is. I went off my Tumblr and Instagram for three days just so I can enjoy this movie with my brothers. This movie may have been long, but it's so worth it. Also, there is this movie called Ben-Hur and it is known as one the longest movie screening it at 4 hours. It is so long, my dad said there had to be 2 intermissions during the film. They just made a remake of it and I am not sure it is long as the original. But the Ten Commandments has everything beat.
Saw it for the second time last night, some kid yelled out a spoiler from the front of the theater and almost got jumped, but he was younger so people just got security to kick him out
