A lot of post drivers will have a plump chain that hangs alongside the post which can help. Also, most operations will have someone holding the post that can help guide. Other than that, it's really up to the operator to get a feel for it, just like auger post hole drilling.
I work for Fence company we use this on solar fields and it’s amazing where we would before pound between 50 and 100 post a day I get in about 200 or 250 depending on how rocky it is game changer this thing is
Thanks for coming back to mention that, that's awesome! Solar folks love these. No damage to the posts and easy to operate. If you wouldn't mind writing a review here on our website, we'd really appreciate it. :D www.skidsteersolutions.com/tremor-vibratory-post-driver-eterra/
Do you mind ideas? If so nevermind.. I think having some kind of looped rope attached to your chain to hold your post if you move..or maybe some big eyes screwed into the side of your posts and a hook bolted onto the chain, you could sit inside and hook up from sitting down..maybe have a dozen or more eyes and keep reusing them..
Hey Thomas! We're a company of ideas, and a community of ideas. Think you can make our products better? Give it a shot, we love feedback. The chain idea is interesting, on all of the post drivers we do provide a place to hang a chain. I'm not sure what you mean by holding the post with the rope, which is also attached to the chain? The chain just hangs there so I don't know what the rope would be doing. Could you re-explain that? Thanks for your comments Thomas.
Skid Steer Solutions great..i am banged up, but my head is still good..i see your machine and you pick up the post..how about you get a bunch of eye hooks screw them 1 each into the post and put a hook on your chain..then you can lift them up with the machine and pull the eyes out afterwards.. Less hands on less chance you hurt your back..
Would those work for "T" posts? And what is the GPM needed to operate one? I have a Kubota 4240 tractor and have rear remotes to plumb hydraulic power from. I think my tractor has around 9-14 GPM. Is that too little??
+Skid Steer Solutions My Kubota tractor already has the quick attach on the loader (it was one of my requirements when purchasing). I'm looking into 3rd function valve to the loader, possibly with a constant flow switch.
Nice the chain can second as a depth gauge too.
I've always wondered how you know wether or not the post you're driving in is straight

Wouldn't it be better to hang the post in the cup so you can position it accurately & plumb?

What tires are you running on this machine?
+Running925 Bobcat Branded Turf Tires. They spread the weigh out better and do very little damage to our grass.
Резина пиздевая у Вас на тракторе... А вот пользу от этого оборудования можно извлекать по другому на мой взгляд...
Doesn’t look very plumb, though
#rockbreaker
Actually 🤔🤔 looks like it's having difficulty 🤷♂️
Yeah that wont work with my soil
+STOGGYRETURNS Why's that?
Its an ungodly clay mix. Hard as concrete and sticks to everything.
Unless you're just doing posts it would be better to buy a concrete breaker and make a cup to fit that.

Crooked as hell
