This just looks so nice. Montana is beautiful and the sounds of posts being pounded into the ground is oddly soothing.

I've driven thousands of posts. I've learned that sharpening the posts always leads to posts being driven out of plumb. flat is best. the harder the ground, the worse a pointed post will drive.

These are words of wisdom that I wish h had known before making this mistake.

Good to know. Had this discussion with a manufacturers rep at a trade show just today, he’s a fan of pointed posts. I’m not

How did you lay out the bottom of posts? Looks great!

I would like to see it in hard ground. You see when he just puts the boom down on the post that it sinks up 6 inches? That's soft ground

I wish I could get by with such short post. My ground would spit those out before Xmas day

Good work, seems like it works great. I also need piling at my house. Where can I buy the unit that does the job?

If the post is strong, you'll just keep hammering on it and it won't go anywhere. If the post is weak, it will break.

3:24??? The posts aren't even close to being straight or in line!!!! Need to move the string line down lower to get bottoms in line with each other and make sure it's tight. That fence has to have a unbelievable bow in it. Pounder works good but a fence that's crooked as hell isn't much to look at.

El ayudante está muy tarugo, no se preocupa por la verticalidad.

The farther away from the operator, the harder it is to control. Obvious these guys have no idea how skid steer post drivers should work. I would go for the Eterra unit any day. Built by people who actually design and build attachments.

This looks like a cheap chinese version compared to the Eterra models.

I think the manufacturer builds these out of Chinese parts. They work well in a ranch setting, I can tell you that.
