I don’t know what shutter speed you were shooting at, but I’d be leery of one-handing any camera in low light. I have a GRi and I’ve done it and sometimes it works because the GR is so light. But, personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. In good light it’s a great technique. Were you okay with the low-light results going one-handed?

Very interesting video thank you. This may be a long reply but this is my experience with the camera, day 2. I was trying to use the much coveted snap focus @ 1 meter for street photography. I think the snap is critical for focus and unless you think you have the right distance, the shot will be out of focus. Even if you use a narrow aperture for greater focus range. One metre was just to close for sharp focus, maybe 1.5 or 2 would be good. If you think the shot is going to be to close, or too far for that matter, use auto focus. I took 176 shots at Camden Market today, and I found that the 30 photos that were sharp, the focus mode was in auto, no snap. The camera has great image quality, but it just has to used right.

For this price it’s DOA dead on arrival. No one bought Gr2 ( IMHO excellent camera) but living in NYC I saw and use it just once .but every day I walk on Manhattan I see at least 3 Leica mostly M. And this is the main problem in 2019 people with money will still buy Leica only no Fuji no Ricoh just Leica. Other people understand in the photo will buy something else. Or today market even$100 it hard to get. Especially in the USA when all phones free (except NOTE for$99-199) so we will see good reviews good “ambassador’s opinion” but never sale Return I really believe this is a good camera! Good but dead.....p.s. people that will put opposite comments do not Forget please say what YOU bought )))))
