Anything coming at the bordering state is going to benefit to people of both states. TN needs to focus more on developing Madurai/Trichy/Salem and this is the need of the hour.

bro here i live in Bangalore and i am an saurashtrian ( but my native is Madurai) , and in Bangalore the situation is totally opposite , people here want to build metro near to Mysuru and other parts of Karnataka but government is showing more interest in building metro to hosur instead of the other parts

It takes 21/2 hrs to reach Bangalore Airport from Hosur. In 2 hrs we can reach Salem. Hence we can upgrade Salem Airport into an International Airport and use.
Secondly, TN Govt should initiate Metro connecting Bagalur - Hosur - kelamangalam - Rayakottai - Denkanikotai - Thali - Hosur.
We can develop Hosur very well by connecting Express Roads to Salem and Coimbatore. Also Steel/Electronics Market can be developed in Krishnagiri District to cater to the needs of Hosur Industrial Hub. We do not have to beg Karnataka for support.

Please understand one thing hosur is not a match to Bangalore just because it is closer to Bangalore outskirts, Banglore climate no place in India can match, Banglore is IT capital, and world famous and what is Hosur, can it get an airport? To sanction an Airport in Hosur minimum air distance should be 110 kms, it's an air traffic control rules, Next no metro to Hosur due to state issues & rules of Metro and other minus points are high, & risky factors, for example while Cauvery water issues raises then metro will be stopped till border then it's loss to both side, so it's waste & dead investment & it's heavy loss to Karanataka Govt so metro will be cancelled to Hosur
