Hosur needs 1)transformation from soak pit to good sewage disposal by pipeline and STP..
2) dedicated supply of Cauvery water
3) HUDA ( urban development authority) for better city planning .
4) Rest infrastructure will follow.

If the METRO starts between BANGALORE & HOSUR. It will be remarkable, laudable & significant. It will boost both the cities & lift them to heights & benefit most people.
It will be better if the International Airport as well Metro Train facilities are made available at the Hosur location, subject to its pre-planning after receiving the Project reports.
40 year aga i saw big Ramanayak lake in hosur, now it has been occupied by building including hospital, it present condition is very very bad . Like this so many things changed here especially climate. We came to hosur around 1985 ,it was more beautiful which only dream now.

And thus Hosur can't be bifurcated into new District as for now... And there is no relation with becoming new district and constructing an airport

But metro is also used to connect joint urban cities like Delhi

அசோக் லேலண்ட், டிவிஎஸ் மோட்டார், ஓலா எலக்ட்ரிக் நிறுவனங்களை தவிர குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தரத் தொழில் நிறுவனங்கள் ஓசூரில் உள்ளன. இவர்களுக்கு (உற்பத்தி தொழில்) நல்ல சாலை வசதி தேவை தவிர விமான நிலையமோ, மெட்ரோ ரயிலோ தேவையில்லை. ஓசூர் ரியல் எஸ்டேட் பொறுத்தவரை 2 லட்சம் இருந்த 30X40 இடம் இப்போது 25 லட்சம்... ஆகையால் இந்த இதெல்லாம் ஓசூர் ரியல் எஸ்டேட் தொழிலில் சம்பாதிக்க ஒரு முயற்சி!

Let me tell you one thing guys BJP in Karnataka had approved the metro till Hosur however once Congress came into power they had put a stay on Hosur metro as they have allocated the same funds to Tumkar Metro and work has started for it. So the government has taken a decision to first complete all metro in Karnataka then they will analyze and decide if a metro is necessary to Hosur or not. So stop dreaming of having a metro in upcoming years it will take atleast 2 decades for Hosur to get the metro. Sorry i am being harsh but this is the fact. One more they are many areas who need a metro in Bangalore when compared to Hosur.

Hosur airport is need of the hour for Tamil nadu growth story..if Central government wishes they can approve it..for the sake information of people who are interested in hosur Airport.
How come rule of "Less than 150km from one to another airport is not applied for Noida new airport being in progress which less than 80km from Indra gandhi international airport Delhi..
Its all about support from Central government to create / break the rules as per their needs.
