People who hate Damien fail to realize that this kid grew up in a world of violence and death.
For most of his childhood that’s all he knew, and on top of that both his mother and grandfather told him that he would be future leader of humanity. It’s no wonder why he was so arrogant being in that kind of environment.
That’s why what Batman says in ‘The Son of Batman,’ is so powerful.
‘How can you hope to lead humanity if you’ve never been a part of it?’
Damien has all this training and grooming to turn him into the perfect warrior/leader, but he fails at being a leader because he’s been denied his humanity and empathy. You can’t hope to be a great leader if you’re incapable connecting with people.
I think you can realize that and still dislike a flawed character because of their flaws. Just because he had this harsh upbringing and careless mother doesn't mean that someone can't think he's annoying and a brat. Sure, he has a reason for being the way he is but that doesn't mean that you have to like him and that doesn't mean he isn't annoying and a brat. You can sympathize with a character and also still dislike who they are. I personally don't like him because he's an annoying brat but I also understand why he is that way but it doesn't mean that when I'm reading the comics he still isn't annoying and a brat.
@@ragreenburg I never said you couldn’t find him bratty and annoying, and not understand where he’s coming from. My comment was pointing out those people who just blindly hate him for the sake of hating him.
You can totally say he’s an annoying brat, but my issue with many of his detractors is that they just say, ‘he’s a brat,’ and leave at that, and then get mad when you challenge their position.
@@codyconnor6981 I get that. What I'm saying though is that I feel like most people that are watching this video already know a good amount of why he is the way he is. So I'm saying you can hate him and also realize why. Now if someone refuses to understand the way he is and hates him then that's just dumb and I can see that being annoying.
I think they hate him for killing Dick Grayson. But i always tell them:
"First of all, that's only in the Injustice Universe (an alternative no canon universe). And secondly, IT WAS A COMPLETLY FREAKING ACCIDENT!"
Makes me hate Talia. Careless, foolish and horrible mother who stripped Bruce’s son away and destroyed Damian. Even though Damian understands what he’s been through and finally meeting his father, he’s still a natural born killer. Talia and Damian are both pieces of shit imo
“I want you to know that Mother may have given me life, but you taught me how to live.” - Batman and Robin v2 #18
Love this quote from Damien. He puts on a front as a jerk, but is actually a caring person at heart like his father. He just wants to be accepted.
this is exactly why i like damian. even when he's still rude you can see the changes over time through the comics. i wish the animated movies showed that more often along with him bonding with Dick
Then he needs to stop being a jerk
@@tutumazibuko2510 “Yeah bro just stop being indoctrinated by a cult of assassins bro”.
@@tutumazibuko2510 he was raised by assassins and didn’t know Batman was his father till like early teens. How do you think he’s going to act?
He’s like a little version of Raphael TMNT
I think when written well all of the Robins are an example of Bruce’s best qualities but also failures as a father. It’s clearest with Jason and Damien being two two sides of the same inferiority complex that being a son of the bat gives you.
Jason always felt inferior to Dick, and replaceable (Tim becomes Robin like what a year after he dies? So that doesn’t help) and I think that comes from his upbringing on the street and both birth parents abandoning him. He’s essentially a teenager who’s rebelling against his dad because he feels like the unworthy one in the family. The failure. Really what he needs is for Bruce to sit him down and tell him he loves him.
Damien, at least at first, always felt like he had to prove that he was worthy of being Bruce’s son. The way Talia raised him meant he always felt he had to “earn” love. He had to be perfect, because unlike the other Robin’s he was Bruce’s son by blood, thus in his mind he needed to be the most “worthy” of them. It’s not until he’s with Alfred and Dick that he starts to have a healthy family dynamic and mellows out, and once Bruce shows him he loves and cares for him even when he falls short of his expectations, he starts to become worthy of being his own version of Robin.
TL;DR
Bruce, hug your fucking kids man.
It’s agreed among Batman writers that Tim officially become Robin six months after Jason’s death. Which really doesn’t help his replaceablity complex
Could have said better...... I think lol
He hugged Jason in a recent comic red hood and the outlaws
I mean in recent Batman and Red Hood comics they start to have a somewhat decent father son relationship. Well until he tried killing Penguin (becuz it was his fault for imprisoning Jason's dad) so Batman best his ass, but they kinda reunited after Arsenal's death
HE DOES MORE THAN HUG MAN. HE FOUGHT DARKSEID TO SAVE DAMIAN WAYNE. DAMIAN DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THAT. HE IS A KID. BRUCE IS ALREADY A GREAT FATHER
I never even considered how talia raised him. I just thought it was just the standard harsh training kill if you need to but NO. The fact that he’s even trying is tremendous

@@motivated2473 I can see that as well.
One of my favorite Bruce being a father moments is when Bruce said "You tried to destroy my city, destroy my home, but worst of all YOU MESSED WITH MY KID." That's a true loving father. And my favorite moment of Damien is when Bruce is brainwashed by Darkseid he blames Clark for him being captured and says "You cost me my father." Such a truly loving son.
I don't really think the movies did the Bruce/Damian relationship justice, but yeah that was a good line.
This reminds me of something similar but it's much darker and one of my favorite moments of Batman. It's from one of the Injustice 2 issues. When General Zod escaped the Phantom Zone and killed Tim Drake in front of Bruce. Bruce got one of his special armor suits designed to combat against Kryptonians and he used Scarecrow's fear toxin mixed with Kryptonite gas on Zod.

It’s Damian
You could say the same thing about Jason. Jason died and within 6 months (maybe a year?) he is literally replaced with a new Robin which just fueled his hatred for Batman. That is something that made Jason feel like he was just a sidekick and not a son and I don't think he'll ever get over that.
@@ragreenburg he was replaced reluctantly though, Tim forced himself into being robin
@@ragreenburg
Tim dint replace Jason.
If you actually read the comics and followed how Tim had discovered who Bruce was Batman and Dick was Robin. Tim goes to Dick first and pleds to Dick to come back and be Robin again. He never wanted to take the mantle because he knew that wasn’t his place to step in. In turn Tim’s whole ethos was for him to aid Batman and in that he ended up becoming Robin because the Batman became a broken man. He dint replace Jason as if he were nothing. No one can replace Jason or the toll that took on Batman himself because Bruce actually saw Jason as his own and later on as Tim helps Batman realize his mistakes and help him through his misfortunes. Tim also feels that fatherly bond towards Batman.
Tim never replaced Jason.
Dick Grayson is Bruce’s perfect son, Jason is Bruce’s biggest failure, Tim is Bruce’s apprentice, Damian is Batman’s son. Damian was a boy raised by Bruce’s worst qualities, his anger, his cold and calculated side, his need to prove himself better than others.
Robin has always been that hope for the lonely child. That despite death, rejection, poverty, abuse, and isolation you can still be happy, companionate, smart, altruistic and heroic. Dick, Jason, Tim, Steph and Damian all represent that.

5.Zuko was thought to see the good in others but Damian was thought to Be the best assassin
Damian's closest parallels are definitively with Killua from HxH, not Zuko nor Vegeta.
Unlike Zuko, someone who never fit the mold to be an ruthless assassin, Killua is great at it, and thrives on his murderous instincts. But, unlike Vegeta, who never struggled against his natural instinct to kill nor actively decided to stop being a murderer, just stopped because he kind of built a life with the "good guys" without realizing it, Killua REALLY struggles to break free of this harmful patterns because this is all he ever known and actually wants to be better.
@@SaSa-gn3rr interesting
Its also important to realize Damian had only met Bruce a few times before Dick had to become Batman. And during Dick’s time as Batman he asked Damian if he missed his father and Damian was just like “idk I didn’t really get to know him. I only met him a couple times.” I feel like that makes Dick and Damian’s bond more special idk
I feel like Jason and Damian understand each other on a different level, both Damian and Jason were failed emotionally leaving trama and taking it out on others by murder. Bruce tried to help both and he helped Damian ,but Damian was able to be saved at a young age. Jason never was.
Jason kicked the shit out of Damian after Damian tried to kidnap and torture him for a crime he didn’t commit.
They understood each other, but Damian in the new Teen Titans book is a fucking mess. He mind wiped villains like in Identity Crisis, started killing again, and quit being Robin cuz he too edgy or something. Screw the writer for turning him into this punk kid, I swear.

People always hate Damien but what they fail to realize is that he was raised by Rais & Talia Al Ghul. What do people expect? Being raised by Killers.
Being raised with Violence & Brutality.
I compare Damien to Zuko, there's alot of comparisons with them.
As my favorite Robin, I'm always a little sad when I see people hate on him. I know that everyone has their own opinion, but I feel like a lot of people don't look at what is beyond the surface. They just saw his first appearance in the comics/movies and thought that was all there was to him. I loved seeing how his transformation, because it wasn't immediate or complete. It took time, and he still retains the qualities that make him, him. He still struggles, but has learned to care and to love. All it took was someone to have patience and to show him that they care.
I will honestly say just like you I did not like Damian Wayne. He was the exact opposite of what Robin is supposed to represent, the Brightside of Batman. But as time went on I began to warm up to him and come to realize that Damien wasn't raised with the tendencies of a child like Dick and Tim, and even Jason despite being ill-mannered was still a kid by the end of the day. But Damian was treated as if he was already an adult, he had no friends, he had to live up to extreme expectations and was expected to be the best at everything related to his parents, so when he met the bat family for the first time he wasn't expecting a totally different world then the one he was used to.
Alfred treated him like a kid when all his life he was treated like he was an adult.
Dick was his father's first son despite not being his biological son and was highly respected and expected to be the next Batman and was the total opposite of Damien.
Tim was Bruce's current partner and despite being a better combatant than him was still more respected due to his natural detective skills.
And last but certainly not least there was Bruce himself the man he wanted the approval of and expected that approval right away just from being his biological son but sadly Damian was the very thing Bruce disliked, a cold-blooded murderer.
Damien in the old 52 couldn't be Bruce's Robin because Robin is supposed to be the friendly cop to Batman's brutish cop and Damien couldn't be that at the time which is why he was the perfect Robin for Dick who was dealing with the pressure of Being Batman because he needed a partner who could and would push him to be aggressive but still a gentle mentor that Damian needs.
He trained so hard to be worthy of being Batman's son but he never needed to do that he just needed to be Bruce's son, because unlike Talia, Bruce never wanted his kids to be like him only the best them they can be.
Seeing Talia's attitude in the comics makes me appreciate her character in the dcamu. After Ra's was killed, she decided to leave her son with Batman so that he would be safe which is surprising because since they were both assassins, Damian could have helped her retake the League. At least she cared about Damian enough to prioritize his safety over everything else which to me, she genuinely cares for him. That was until she swam in the pit and her mind messed up. God I hate the Bad Blood movie
Got to feel sorry for Damian as all he ever wanted and needed was a family who actually loved and cared about him, instead of being groomed into being a killer. He had difficulty showing his compassionate and human side because at such a young age he had been taught by his mother and grandfather into thinking that kindness was a weakness and that instead, being able to decapitate someone at the age of 4 was strength. And that was basically all he knew until he was taken in by the Bat family and bonded with Dick (his Brother), Alfred & Bruce. He’s such an intriguing character as even though he was raised to be the ultimate assassin, he deep Down wanted to do & be good... his character development over the years is incredible.
Saaaaame! The Dick-Damian dynamic was just what I needed and what Damian needed. I hated Damian until Dick showed us that he really is just a kid who needs love, no matter how much he likes to act like he isn't. Made me feel so bad for judging Damian so harshly while being so happy that he got such a great older brother.
Another nuance of Damian`s character that is rarely touched upon: His "tt" tic is in part a sign of disrespect but paradoxically it is also a sign of pride in his Arabic heritage.
cool i always wondered what that was about!
i thought he just got it from Bruce because in some comics he does the same
@@ChickenTendere That`s not surprising considering how well-traveled Bruce is and he`s probably traveled to the Middle East a few times before even meeting the Al Ghuls.
@@SagesRain Ya, "tt" is basically the Arabic equivalent of the Japanese "tch" basically meaning "You have done or said something very foolish."
Huh, I never really thought about it that way and Arabic's my mother's tongue. I always felt it was like a universal sign of pride especially after playing Ace Attorney.
You’re worth more than what you can give to others you deserve love to- Mara

I love Damian Wayne robin and I am just tired of bad writers mistreating him like garbage.
It's also interesting to note that the surly but brilliant personality came out in father AND son, and Dick acted as an excelent counterweight to both. Further, something I notice here is that Bruce was a sweet and lovely kid who grew up in love and affection, then was thrust into horror. Damian was a kid who grew up in horror and was thrust into love and affection (to a certain degree) and it's really interesting to see Damian as the raw potential for what Bruce could be (if unleashed) and Bruce is what Damian could be (if carefully honed). Kinda a flash forward, flash back look at the same character, in my opinion.
This was a great video. Damian is my personal favorite of the robins. I love how despite growing up in a horrible and abusive environment he ultimately chooses to overcome that to do good. In my mind there’s nothing more hopeful than that. I just wish dc would let his character development stay intact more. I like how has been written in DCEASED and seeing how far he has grown as a character is really inspiring.
Thank you for making this video. Whenever I saw Damian, I saw the assassin trying to be a Robin but would always be tempted to kill. I just couldn't move past that fact that Damian killed and tortured and crossed so many lines, so many, I considered him irredeemable. I saw him ass an assassin trying to do what he was taught, assimilation and tearing apart the bat family. But now I see him for who he is, a scared kid who didn't know better, a kid who had alot in his future, a 10 year old. Who had so much, but his life was cut short.
You will be remembered. Robin.
He was never there to destroy the Batfamily... His dueling blood has pros and cons... The Al Ghul blood is the physical prowess he has while the Wayne blood is the restraint he puts on himself, when those 2 are in conflict that's when we have those moments where he attacks his "big brothers" but when they coexist in symbiosis is where we have those moments like in the Batman Eternal storyline where all 4 Robin's work as a unit...
Damian is my favorite Robin. I loved his pairing with Jonathan Kent in Super Sons. The two of them really brought out the best in each other.
Dude, you gotta see Batman: Bad Blood and the Teen Titans stuff. It really rounds out the character of Damian Wayne. Particularly his relationship with Raven. It was cute to see how things evolved with those two.
I've loved Damian from the get-go. When I saw how raw and cold he was, I saw the beginning of a great story.

I’d do anything for Damian to be who he was in apokolips war in the comics rn.
There, he had uplifting end to his character where he grew to be the best person he can be to save the ones he loves and formed a love with raven.
This is what makes Damian’s story so beautiful. And Dc’s totally disrespecting him.
Edit: Update! Damian is in a better place in the comics rn in 2022!
Although I love Damian's growth as a character, it's a truly shame that Morrison had to retcon Talia to make her look evil so that Bruce would look like a savior. Anyway, I loved your video and I think more people should watch it. People hate Damian because they don't know him, the animated movies made a horrible adaptation. Others hate him because of his past mistakes, but he outgrew and redeemed himself, Damian even share a good relationship with Tim, showing that he no longer sees his brother as a threat. I love his character development, awesome video!
Morrison’s motivation wasn’t that sinister, he simply forgot what happened in Son of the Demon.
@@notspider-man7777 ah yes, morrison retconned talia's whole story to write her as a sexual abuser because they forgot that she and bruce were married once. i totally believe that.
You know, even that I prefer to Damian be with Bruce, I believed that Damian can mantain a good connection to his mother too. That's a thing that I like in the recent Robin 2021 comic, that is kinds healing with Bruce and Talia equally, not just one.
One thing I want to bring up is how similar Bruce and Damian are in the way they express their love for others. They do it through actions, and it works easier for Bruce, who as an adult can understand actions easier and more maturely from how he was raised and chose to live. But Damian, while also showing his emotions and feelings through actions, wants to be TOLD that he's loved. Which is one the walls blocking him and Bruce throughout the comics.
Personally, I met Damian through the DCAMU so I appreciate his growth into a deserving hero alongside Bruce, Dick, and Raven the most. His development was fleshed out nicely and strategically, ‘cause I remember everyone hated him in the first few movies haha look how much he’s been allowed to grow from there! What a feat. And Raven’s been my fav heroine since 2003TT so them ending up together was a nice touch for me. Great vid, Sage!
I hate those movies they sacrifice all the other heroes to make sure Damian growth is shown.
ViperTime Session Well, it was made pretty clear from the get go that this movie series would revolve around Damian, I’d imagine that was a given? Not saying it’s the best they could’ve done, but since many people started liking the character more (previously they hated him or were indifferent) after the movies I see it as a total win on DCAU’s part.
Even though at first everyone hated Damian but I always respected him because of his fighting skills at such a young age and he was raised a certain way.
That is also very admirable. The fact that Bruce and Damien always try to find ways to overcome their darkness and I'm pretty much the same exact way too. But I did have a little bit of a slip up back when I was plotting to gravely hurt people but I will probably never go down that road again because the result is tragic and embarrassing as well for that matter.
Damien favorite so beautiful have character that deals with his duality, of being heir to League of Assassin’s. And being Batman son. With him dealing with turmoil of, who is he? what should he do? How should he live? And why is his father so beloved and strong? It really flesh out not just Damien but Bruce as well. Why Son of Batman my top favorite Batman movie
This video recently just popped up on my recommended feed and I gotta say this video really made my morning. Damian Wayne to me always seemed like the most tragic Robin but whenever I brought him up in any conversation that involved "Best Sidekicks" or "Best Robins" I would quickly get dismissed cause most people just see Damian as a brat. With nature and nurture there is one thing that’s usually left out of the discussion.
As humans, we have the capability of a range of things we can do, with positive or negative results that may follow, and you could argue that these things are almost nature they’re committed so often.
But we as humans have the capability to be better, to choose to be better than nature may have intended us to be, and that is what I consider to be one of the cornerstones of what it means to be human.
Family don’t really have to be related by blood but the bonds that we makes with others I love at first I hated my brother in law I wished he never married my sister but I realize something that my family that they didn’t seen we are one of the same but my brother-in-law it’s like a love to give to a brother or to look up to like a little bro and big bro.
Like the bond madara and hashirama we both lost people we care for we’ve been treated terribly by people in our lives and we became close and I say this now if anything happens to him I’ll find them and make them pay 1000 times fold Because treats me like I’m a normal person and don’t care I have a disorder don’t treats me like I’m being looked down he’s more a family member than being related by blood !
Damian Wayne help me enjoy comics once again to what I once abandoned, have read as many comics as I can around his character & totally enjoy The Super Sons, with him & Jon S Kent, best team up ever.
Will do you a vid on the Super Sons
Nothing going on here just waiting for just a guy without a mustache
I know. That guy is everywhere!
Let’s gooo Damian Wayne live action
I'm sorry if it sounds strange, but i just want to say that i really like the tone of your voice; the way you discuss the depth, themes in fiction in a calm, deep tone is quite captivating and very enjoyable to listen to. Thank you for your thoughts and your work.
Batman & Robin is one of my favorite runs because I love reading Damian and Dick together. It’s just pure sibling rivalry and I’m from a big family so I can relate somewhat. The golden child and the black sheep.
No Jason is the black sheep
@@GigaChadh976 Who are we kidding, the Batfamily is predominantly comprised of various “black sheep” that Bruce seems to have accumulated over time.
Damian: I don’t care for anyone. I’m a weapon. I’m dangerous.

I love this so much, amazing video, voice, topic and message. When I always here people talk about Damian , Its ussually hate him or love him, People ussually just look at his personality and labels him a brat and littlesh*t, but they don't address other things, Damian is a kid, that wasn't shown love, care and affection growing up, he was given almost unachievable expectations. In my opinion what damian trully wants deep inside is love, acceptance, care and a family.
I think damian could use a bit of Jason’s wisdom, since he can relate the most to damien and be a good brother and help him overcome some aspects such as jason has
What wisdom?
Damian has the best lines. He is such a hilarious lil sh*t.
He really is haha
Took the words right out of my mouth again he really grew on me as a character
This is why Damien is one of my favorites he’s conflicted but so relatable at the same time.
I honestly really liked this video about damian and I don't see why most comments say they hate it
I wonder what if damian would've met jason todd before bruce, seeing that he is also a killer maybe he would've saw him as a better batman because he only kills the worst of the worst and not small criminals or inocents
Damn that would be a really great comic
One thing of note: Jason has always been as disciplined as Bruce. Justice and vengeance: Two rails containing a force of nature.
Damian lacks both. The million dollar question is: Where will he place the rail of justice?
Erik Thomsen
No no no. Jason “always” being as disciplined as Bruce is a massive misreading if his character
@francis board coppola
Well... What are you waiting for?
You just told me I got an incorrect assessment. I wanna know, why?
i feel like damian would open up more to jason considering how they're both violent and they know what it's like being killed and brought back to life
I guess I do share that trait with Damien as well but not to the same degree at all. I have no need to kill but I have no problems hurting people when they get out of line excessively. But I rarely even do that. In fact its been like 4 years since I got in a fight and I've only ever been in like 4 real physically violent situations.
And while I do appreciate combat sports and martial arts all of that is done in a controlled environment and both competitors can quit whenever they want until the time runs out or the other person wins decisively according to the rules of the sport.
Heck my favorite series super sons with Damian Wayne robin is with my boy Jonathan Samuel kent superboy as his little 10 year old self was a really great friend to Damian Wayne robin which was so awesome and adorable.
I have watched nearly every damian video on youtube but this one is probably my favourite! I felt so happy watching this!
Damian reminds me so much of Zuko and with both characters you had to watch them grow to like them.
I've never come to grips with the assassin background Damian has, it's like it makes him less human and more of a weapon. The New 52 films really show a character struggle with his identity a lot and come through so many challenges. Generator Rex is somewhat like that, with the title character being branded as a weapon instead of a teenager.
First I like to say you truly did amazing job! Like seriously for real this is amazing and I greatly appreciate on your analysis and in depth of Damian Wayne character. You went beyond and I love that. From previous videos I seen reviewing or analysis Damian character they focus so much on his skills and behavior, but never really go in depth behind it or finding out the reasons. Like they don’t go farther within his character or what presented through his screen time. Watching this direction make me love the video even more. It just the direction you chose to presented it was informative and your perspectives was in depth. This really made me enjoy watching this video. This inform me more of Damian Wayne character. I remember the first time Damian premiere in son of Batman my thoughts was this boy had potential and interesting. I wonder what else we seen out of him?

I have this idea that in the DCAMU I think that Damian and Conner (Superboy) would slowly become good friends.
Because they have a lot in common
The both have conflicting blood, Conner (Superman/Luthor) & Damian (Batman/Al Ghul).
They both put on a front to hide insecurities
They both genuinely want to be better
I think Damian is an amazing character. I know most people don't care about his upbringing but I do. He was born and bred as an assassin, forced to kill or probably be disowned by his family. For God's sake he climbed up mountains as a 4 year old because it was expected. Honestly, do you think you could do that?
He's a brat because he was taught to be that way and was told all the world would basically be his since infancy. The mother who raised him was literally ready to clone him because he was such a good fighter and didn't feel an ounce of remorse. It's a miracle he actually learned to get along with the teen titans at all. Tbh he's like Vegeta from Dragon Ball. I love his character too because they're both realistic.
Sage Rain , I want to thank you for analyzing Damian Wayne ,along with all the former Robins (Dick Grayson , Jason Todd ,and Tim drake ) .I love the Batbros(as some fandoms call them that ).All them together make Batman to be honest. Anyways , though Damian has been one of the interesting Robins I’ve come across not saying the other former Robins were bad as they were all great in their own rights , but Damian hits be on a different level where I could immediately see his pain. How he wants acceptance.I know how that can be wanting to be accepted by others who you care for and loved .
Damian is the best robin!!!
Damian will always be my favorite robin and one of my favorite characters in comics/Super Hero Media. You feel bad for Damian because he was just a kid brought into a violent hateful environment, until he met the bat family that’s all he knew. I especially love how they do Damian in the DCAU, just great character growth and development
Another masterpiece
This is super well done, definitely one of the best looks into the character I’ve seen. Keep it up
Damien Wayne will forever be my favorite Robin.
This isn’t a popular take but I always liked damion because in the movies he feels like a very traditional anime protagonist (relies almost entirely on fighting skill, monologues, Asian martial arts origin) and he was j traduced to Batman who is the epitome of the western protagonist (typical good guy, one liners, super rich/talented). It’s like a blending of the two anime and western animation
Title: Batman’s True Son
Terry McGinnis: *Allow me to introduce myself.*
That is exactly what I'm looking for from yall. I need to know that you won't give up on me and that you are seriously trying to truly make things right once and for all.
Your writing is incredible I love these "video essays"
I think it's an interesting idea for Damien growing up still using the Robin costume.
After batman has passed his prime Damien could grow into his own not becoming the next Batman but taking the Robin mantle and make it his own.
Becoming the definitive Robin his own hero not a sidekick or apprentice but his own mainstay.
isnt that what tim drake's red robin is for?
@@grvhntr3003 I haven't heard about but thanks for mentioning I'll look into it. I just that it would be interesting that the (genetic) son of Batman would continue as his own thing.
@@grvhntr3003
Tim doesn’t want to be Batman
@@GigaChadh976 i didnt even say that, i said that he becomes his own hero as red robin
i love the batman videos, was very excited when i saw the notification 🔥👍
All the reasons why Damian is my favorite DC character.. thank you for this.
Bats are seen at night but Robin's hail the morning
Amazing work my guy
“You, Talia, Ras, you’re all in here...but where am I? Who am I?”
I love this Chanel more than I could have ever imagined
Good timing for this video, yesterday or the day before i watched your videos on the other Robins and wanted a Damian Wayne one
I’m so glad to see that all the robins are completed casandra Cain would be a pretty good continuation if you wanted to continue down the Batfamily line
Stephanie Brown?
Call her a Robin or don’t. But she isn’t any less intriguing as Spolier or Batgirl.
Erik Thomsen I didn’t say she wasn’t intriguing. I just wanted to see him do a video on the daughter of Lady Shiva. I have nothing against the character
@@loganshaffer5160
Yeah that could be interesting. We already have to first of the three Batgirls.
@@erikthomsen4768 she is officially classed as a Robin now. But I think she only was for a few weeks
@@welch_inc6532
And that short time span meant that folk could and would argue that this persistent youthful lady is not really Robin.
Taking the democratic approach. I used her varied superhero career to gain support among the channel's fanbase.
This video really helped me empathise with Damian's character
Sage, you’re so awesome bro; thank you for this. Seriously. It’s so good dude, so so good.
I just watched the 4 robin's videos in a row, great content man
Grayson and Damine's Duo is my Favorite,
seeing them reuniting in Agent 37 series is heartwarming
Not gonna lie, I hate this vid
Only 10 mins with Sages Rain *soothing* voice, how am I supposed to go to bed now???
I can really relate to Damien. If given the opportunity, I'd probably do terrible and violent things but with a passion. I'd still take that same passion and love people dearly. In an odd and twisted way, the two balance things out. It's not always about good vs bad, ironically
great video analysis!
It is a good day for rain...
Sage, bro, you killed it again! I love Batman, I'm a huge DC fan! When Damien was first introduced I was lime eh...But then he started to grow on me. To where now I really enjoy him as a character because he is so flawed and you really never know if he's going to kill or not. I think it would be very difficult to be the legitimate son of Batman. Bruce cares very deeply about people otherwise he wouldn't be Batman. But as you said he doesn't know how to show it. The Bat family is huge and each member plays an important role. As they say it takes a village to raise a child...it couldn't be more true in this scenario!
The Heart, The Vengeance, The Detective, and The Saved. The Four Robins.
I have been waiting so long
Man I love this video It's so touching
