I dig it! The flashing rainbow bit was a little abrasive, but not bad at all. I'd only be cognizant not to lose your down-to-earth vibes in the music and the editing cuts. But the use of that style for the intro worked great. The double montage was pretty funny, too.

What you do is fascinating, and your edits are quite good. I enjoy the music. I think you have a naturalist charisma and I'm glad I stumbled over your channel and can subscribe. How does the shop-vac store bees safely on the other end of the suction? Why did the bees not get angry during the exposure of their home to 'the elements' (even though it was technically indoors).

Saw the activity under a shed behind my building, shed is covered on top and on three sides. In this one I just bagged it. It's harder on them during the rebuild this time of year to tend to it. Plus I feel it helps to remove any issues they may have with mites.

Hi Yappy, I’m new to your channel. Great video. I had one question, around 4:35 in the video, while you are holding the comb close a smaller bee towards the bottom ran by. It looked much smaller then the others and the body was very dark. Was it a drone or just a new smaller worker, or something else? Thanks for sharing these videos.

Hmmm, I will have to look. There were hive beetles in this also. Pesky little buggers. I think that's what you probably saw.

Hey Yappy, I just started doing this in Texas and I wanted to know if you had a video or if you could do a video showing your catchment system so I don’t hurt the bees when I vacuum them

I don't. But I us ethe Colorado bee vac. There's vids out there about it. Good luck with them TX bees.

The editing is rather great :) An exterminator reached out to me, but I don't have the gear to open up walls with minimal damage and no bee-vac, Maybe I'll get to do a cutout someday... Starting my 3rd year and i want to do at least 1 cut out in my beekeeping career, to learn whether or not I enjoy it. Videos like this are a huge help :)

It's a lot of work and a big tool investment for sure. I never recommend it but I obviously enjoy it. Enter it with care if you ever do. It's not as easy as I make it look. But way more fun
