I understand trying to be empathetic, but in this age there is no excuse. I was raised in Kentucky by racist, homophobic, misogynistic parents. i went to all white super conservative schools and literally was sheltered from meeting a black person until I was 14. If I can get out and learn to think for myself, frankly I think everyone can.

This is true even cults have some people who aren't as brainwashed as others, but it is rare. When you have a relationship with people you care about that have very ignorant ideologies, you become more susceptible to that way of thinking. It's a product of the environment and no it doesn't happen to everyone that doesn't mean everyone is able to change it so easily.
I feel so sorry for women that have to go through all this shit in 2019 !! I'm with all of you ladies. Don't think you are alone. The government does not own you. I miss this show so much! This show helped me change my voting direction, by really thinking for the first time and not just following what my parents taught me. It helped change what I thought was an open mind, to really having an open mind. Most importantly it helped me have patience for the people that don't think like me (my parents!). This show changed my perspective entirely. It made me smarter.

When I was in college I was raped at a party, I was in college and poor as well and I needed to continue my education and processing mental trauma, I choose to have an abortion. I choose what was best for my situation at the time.
I think people are missing "grey" situations who choose abortion like what you went through. There are a lot of situations that have no choice but to consider an abortion.

This will affect men too... men who want to provide for their children, men who fight with their women breast cancer many. times going into deep debt to pay off medical bills. So many amazing, strong, quiet men that are responsibly doing what their own fathers didn't ... why do we forget this is not one gender vs another gender, this is greedy people taking away all they can from whomever they think is vulnerable.
