I remember seeing this on Newgrounds in the Megaman collection when I was a kid. After all these years it still looks good. Granted, the animation is more noticeably flawed but still very impressive.
Old animation aside, the fight is damn well choreographed and exciting. And the animation also does look as impressive now as it did when I was a kid. There's just a lot of fun and wonder to the animation, I love every second of this.

I've always loved the concept of Quick Man being Mega Man's rival up until Proto Man and Bass made their first appearance. And this animation, does a great job showing this rivalry of sorts.

Man, watching this all these years later, there's still a lot to appreciate, but the way this animator worked the actual visuals from the game, from the posing to the weapon selection and all that jazz? That's still really cool, and an eye for detail I wouldn't see out of a lot of creators until much later. Some of these Newgrounds artists were way ahead of their time in re-imagining older concepts.

Whoever made this made Quickman competent. Which was cool to see after all the games and shows make them look like buffoons. Except Pharoahman.
