If you imitate someone that’s not a Muslim then it’s forbidden for sure. However if someone says that you cannot cut it because you will always imitate them. With that logic shouldn’t jeans be forbidden because the non Muslimeen do this? People then say no it’s not forbidden rather it’s fine because the “muslimeen have started production and create these clothes.” So we could say that about haircuts nowadays? Secondly in books such as akhsar al mukhtasarat is mentions at worse it’s “offensive” and comes from the word kuruh aka makrooh. I agree with your statement of imitation 100% but you went to deep with the qaza3 term.

Can anyone explain how al qaza came to be makruh tanzihi in the Hanafi madhab? Because from the hadith it seems obvious that it should be haram rather than makruh. Jazakhallahu khairan.
Everyone makes mistakes. No imam or madhab is perfect certain madhabs say alcohol and intimacy from the wrong hole is permissible but they got it wrong. And the Hanafis got this one wrong
Bro first issue is it was a distortion like a disfigurement the boy had a shaved head then 2 long braids, he was told to shave it or leave it all long, That doesn’t mean everything always has to be one length Allhu’Alim and I think this is why the Mashable takes that opinion, second it was because it looked like what yahoodis have, so distortion and imitation, now saying a fade is imitation is impossible it’s widespread among the Muslims and saying it’s a type of disfigurement can’t be an argument surely if it’s just normal short back and sides Allhu’Alim I’ve heard if anything it’s makroo some brothers always take the strictest meaning you have to see what the evidence points to and what the people of knowledge say, I used to follow salaifi sheiks for fiqh until I realised so many of their opinions are minority opinions and the actual harm the first generation of Salifis did, the group not the Salif I mean, starting with Imam Abdul wahab, but I do like their opinions on bidah and matters of tawheed and Ibadah but for fiqh it’s very hard to live in the world we do and take the strictest minority opinions in-fact doing that, having this disposition of always looking to make things haram is against the usool that all is halal unless proven otherwise, don’t they take the message in that, and what Allah SWT stayed silent about is a mercy, no instead they search for haram and do their best to find it, when Rasul’Allah sws smdiscourages questions about things that he may have to give a ruling making it impermissible, their approach removes this Rahmah that is part of Islam Allahu’Alim but for fiqh I’ll follow the opinion of one of the madhabs that seems most reasonable in light of the evidence and what’s meant by it.
Could it be argued that having a skin fade (or removing more hair on the side) is not imitating the kuffar? Isn't that haircut pretty universal nowadays? It could have been unique for the kuffar at the prophets time but trends and cultures change? Please correct me if I am wrong. I have a skin fade, but I never heard about this hadith.
Khitir no, the reason it’s universal is because everyone is imitating the kiffar, when you see someone with all even hair, a beard, and pants above the ancles you will automatically know hes a person of sunna, then when you see someone with fades, long ripped pants, and styled beard you will think hes kaffir
Pickle Rick you don’t need to have your pants above your ankles because that was for the people at the prophets time brcauscebe the khaffirs used to have Longs thobes that went past their Angeles to show off but now no one does it to show off
It can’t be immigrating because what’s widespread with the Muslims is not imitating, what pickle rick said is based on his lack of knowledge about the usool of imitation. Jeans were imitating the kufar now they aren’t, anything of western dress was now it’s not, the headpiece Arabs wear came from the Jews of kaybar One of the early scholars was asked about it he said now it’s amongst the Muslims it’s no longer immitaing, the first people who did this were but we aren’t, read up on it, no one can say a fade is immitating the kufar if they understand the rulings on imitation, you can say it’s imitating immoral people maybe but not the kufar, basically anything you wear or do if someone would see you and would think you’re a kafir because only ladies wear or do that it’s haram, would you see a Somali man with a fade and think he is a Kafir because of it? I’d the answer is no it’s not imitating Allahu’Alim pickle Rio I shouldn’t give opinions he has no knowledge or evidence of that’s haram if he is looking for something haram
Low skin fade is that part of 'leaving Some off it' ? Or is it still prohibited and if so is it part of major sin or minor sin? If you leave the top part at one level height so trimmed, and then Followed up from a low cut fade into the normal height is it permissible or prohibited?
this qasida that brother recited you can find sharh lamiyat sheikh al islam ibn taymiyah though i heard sh uthaymeen saying there is no evidence that it is from sheikh al islam any way allaah knows the best
Wat I dnt understand is the thing about if u I state from a group u r part of them. But y. Since I dress like disbelievers for example I wear jeans a tracksuit does that then mean I’m a disbeliever
No, I thought the same thing, basically if you rock jeans and a jacket. That's fine because they're clothing that's used all over the world(as long as the Jean's arent skinny) but if you walk around dressed as a samurai for example. That's where it becomes haram. To sum up if you're dressing in a way that is SPECIFICALLY known from being from a non muslim culture, then its haram.
A fade is not a patch, the Hadith speaks about how a child had patches of hair and it made the kid looked disfigured.A fade is not a patch also in contrary it does not make you look disfigured a good haircut makes you look like a clean individual and well. Which is one of the teachings of Islam is to look clean and presentable. So by stating that it’s incorrect to do so, you are contradicting that. It’s pretty rare you get a decent haircut or a fade and someone says you look unclean or not presentable. Being clean and presentable is one of our duties as a Muslim. Also regarding the aspect of shaving all and leaving one patch of hair was applied to disbelievers such as monks and etc that would shave their heads in accordance to their religious beliefs. Monks in modern day times still do this. Hence do not resemble the disbeliever. There is nothing wrong with getting a faded haircut. Please do not misuse the context of the Hadith and apply it to something else.

This is ridiculous nitpicking! So you’re saying, either have a somehow one length Afro, long straight hair, a fade but make sure you trim the top too or a monk looking hairdo or completely shaven bald? And if so, ANY OR ALL OF THE ABOVE STILL FALL INTO CATEGORIES HAIRCUTS OR HAIRDOS THAT DISBELIEVERS WEAR! The description of the Prophet s a w had long straight hair down to his shoulders sometimes, or by his ears did he not? Did he somehow cut the top and the sides the same length, thus having a “spiked” roundish short hairdo like the commentator in this video because if the Prophets s a w’s hair was cut all one length and not just the bottom to stop it from growing down his chest and back, then he’s being a hypocrite! A fade and a Mohawk are nothing the same, and even a Mohawk type haircut should be permissible as the middle is trimmed in any way and not “left” uncut at all! And last but not least, actions are judged by intentions, and by Allah Almighty not shallow judging a “book” by it’s cover so to speak by men! WHAT IS A LOOKING AND DRESSING DISBELIEVER IN THIS WORLD TODAY? 🤔🤷🏻♂️👎🏼 There are many people who believe in Allah, pray in mosques and conduct daily affairs with trendy clothing that is sometimes tight fitting or looks nothing like a “believer” so they’re kufar or whatever disbelieving title you label them as? Please give some clarity on this because you don’t make sense! This extreme nitpicking could not have been what the Prophet s a w meant.👌🏼✌🏼🤲🏼🕋☝🏼

And every time you mock him, you aren't only sinning in terms of mocking a Muslim you are also committing a Major Sin in our beloved religion which is called Slandering - I'm sure you did not mean to mock him, but next time think about what your going to do/say because it could be deeper than what we really think it is like.

2-Shaving the sides of the head and leaving the middle
3-Shaving the middle and leaving the sides
4-Shaving the front and leaving the back
5-Shaving the back and leaving the front
6-Shaving one side and leaving the other
The fact that these types are haraam is indicated by the report in al-Saheehayn from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said, “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade qaza’, i.e., shaving parts of a boy’s hair and leaving other parts.” And it was narrated from him (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw a boy who had some of his hair shaved and some left; he forbade them from doing that and said: “Shave it all or leave it all.” And it was narrated from ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) in a marfoo’ report (i.e., attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)): “Shaving the back of the head, unless it is for the purpose of cupping, is the act of the Magians.” In Sunan Abi Dawood it is narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a boy with his head shaved, leaving two braids or long locks, and he said, “Shave these or cut them, for this is the style of the Jews.” Al-Marwadhi said, “I asked Abu ‘Abd-Allaah (i.e., Ahmad ibn Hanbal) about shaving the back of the head, and he said, “That is what the Magians do, and whoever imitates a people is one of them.”

Nibs i know you are sending these videos and that young kid in the masjid
DeLaMan So is uneven haircuts haram?
It may be they didn’t have the Hadith as they were in Iraq
Not only in the hanafi madhab but it was narrated a consensus about it being makrooh
Its al about usool al fiqh and the wording of the hadith
So take what he said, the prophet pbuh clearly has forbidden growing some hair longer than the rest
Pickle Rick you don’t need to have your pants above your ankles because that was for the people at the prophets time brcauscebe the khaffirs used to have Longs thobes that went past their Angeles to show off but now no one does it to show off
Pickle Rick facts ya ikhwaan
Real Fresh skin fade is impermissible wether its low or high.
It still falls under Ghaza no matter if there is still hair or not. Ghaza is if one side is shorter than another and this is Ghazah.
this qasida that brother recited you can find sharh lamiyat sheikh al islam ibn taymiyah though i heard sh uthaymeen saying there is no evidence that it is from sheikh al islam any way allaah knows the best
Wearing hair long and braids is from the Sunnah yet i never see many muslims wear their hair like that.
Prophet 'saw' never braided his hair but rather he put it in puffs
@@momocamara Do some research and ask the scholars.
Haa
Very biased explanation and translation, Mutafarriqa, like clouds, you didn't even attempt to explain that.
At 11:05 he explains the ruling briefly ,, and there’s nothing biased about it when he’s bringing the words of the messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم .. its you either follow it or follow your desires brother
There's different opinions maybe this video might shed light... :)

Dishonest video ... majority of the scholars say it is makruuh
Your just trying to justify skin fades to flex in school. Shaving off parts of your hair completely and leaving other parts is wrong and we have the hadith of what the prophet said to an individual doing the same.

Awesome Videos HD If you are mocking the brother, just know he is more knowledgeable than all of us, and he is our teacher and brother in Islam. And every time you mock him, you aren't only sinning in terms of mocking a Muslim you are also committing a Major Sin in our beloved religion which is called Slandering - I'm sure you did not mean to mock him, but next time think about what your going to do/say because it could be deeper than what we really think it is like.
