Should have gotten into white pack 1 lots of signals especially with that late conduit goblin
Although, I kinda agree with your commentary on p1p1 I think starting with serum visionary is way too safe for mh3. I have found that card to be mid filler in this high power set. For me the choice is between goblin and soultrader. Given that black is often underdrafted and soultrader can do some nice sacrifice things I would go that route. Hindsight is 2020 but either RW or B had better cards going around I think.
Fully agreed. Visionary may be a good card in an average format but not in this heavy synergistic format, where it doesn´t fit in any archetype.
@@rickbaer112 I think it can be decent if the deck has multiple bombs or as sideboard against aggro but it's a later pick for sure

Rough packs. I'm surprised you didn't consider the counter spell rare p3p1 after cyclops wheeled pack 2
A crazy green/white deck with the bears that makes all 2/2s and dogs
There was eldrazi cards in every pack. You passed up gold. I noticed you like to draft lots of control cards. Unless you pack solid counter control with you 4 bomb cards I wouldn't bother.
Disagree with the Eldrazi Rep in p1p2 over the 2 mana 3/1. It does work in all the white pairs save for WB. It also lets you get Thraben charm p1 and the WB flying and lifelink enchantment.
Lets you draft either WU energy or WR energy easily. Super weak packs but you didnt take what power you did have.
I’d argue the evangel even works in WB with the ondu knotmaster and other black counter synergies. Also the thing i really didn’t understand about the pick was that the pick RIGHT before he said he didn’t want to fight over green and that it prob wouldn’t be open (which it wasn’t) so why not speculate on a really premium white 2 drop?

I think you’re valuing serum visionary far too much. It’s not that great in a very synergy driven format where it only excels as a synergy piece in black blue. I don’t think pack 1 you had much of any reason to stay blue considering you saw basically no other good blue cards
Edit: I don’t see a reason to be UW instead of RW when conduit goblins are flying around the packs and you’ve seen 0 riddlegate gargoyles or blue white energy payoffs. Not even tune the narrative is wheeling 😭
Soultrader p1p1 :/ A splashable 3/3 for 3 + instant sac mechanism/ramp/token producer, yes plz!
P1P1 serum visionary? Bruh
It's the third best card in the pack by Winrate behind only Malevolent Rumble and basically tied with Conduit Goblin, I find green to get cut far more often than blue, and don't like starting with a Gold card. It's a debatable pick between the three for sure, but I think Visionary there is reasonable, I think giving so much weight to the blue cards to the point of P8 Utter Insignifance over Conduit Goblin is where things went wrong
This might have been the weakest draft pod I’ve ever seen. Kudos for salvaging a decent deck but this wasn’t it 😢

I disagree, boros energy was there since pack one, really clear path. Forcing blue too much
WG aggro was clear for me from pack one, eventhough its weaker, the amount of watchdogs and evangels
This draft really emphasizes the point Chird makes about having trouble finding playables if you take too many tri lands. I agree the boros common wheeling was a strong signal, and I wouldn't have passed the red energy flier. Boros would have been considerably better I think. Where is the UW signpost?
Also to add onto this the 2 mana Evangel is a great card. Plays real well in most of the white color pairs
