I hunted down a copy of the original game a few years back and I'm glad I did. I'm definitely getting this second edition, but I'll keep my original in the collection as a collectors item.

I would shake Martin Wallace's hand if I ever met him in person, I love Brass etc and his goofier monster game Mongha Invaders. I lived in central London for 20 year and believe you me those monuments are only 0.02% of London, the rest is a right dump !
Haha... yikes. I visited once in the 90s. Granted I stayed in the posh areas. But, I enjoyed my stay.
I've lived in London for five years now. I find it to be a magical wonderful place. Best city in the world.
Come back after 20 years and give me an opinion then, I'm in a nice warm, sunny, friendlier European capital and it is so much better than London with quality of life higher. London is best for 'indoor entertainment' (museums, concerts etc).

su park I’ve played this new edition four times now and the previous about 20 times. Still will break out anytime. The hand management is they key to the replayability I think.

Played it today and really enjoyed it. My only concern tho, is the lenght. Do u feel that the game drags a little bit Joel? Or does it get faster with more experience?
Ozzy Takes about an hour with four. Less with less of course. We’ve all played it several times though.
Third game was much better. This game is amazing.

Joel, I've been a subscriber for a long time and I love your reviews. I really do. But please try to refer to game currency by its proper name. In London the currency is pounds, not dollars or bucks. So many reviewers are guilty of this and I don't understand why. Granted, it's an insignificant detail, but it's annoying nonetheless. We don't all live in America. Anyway, that aside, another great review so thanks for that. I've placed a pre-order.
No worries! I did correct myself a couple of times. It all ends up just being "money" once I get into the game. So I think the brain just defaults to whatever is one's normal currency.
Drive Thru Review I totally understand. As I said, it's a trivial matter and hardly worth mentioning, but I mentioned it because it's a bugbear of mine. I suspect it's more my problem than a problem with anyone else! Thanks again.
