It's interesting that some Christians think the classic film, The Ten Commandments, is about them when it's about Passover and the birth of Judaism.

May I ask if someone sees this... After Yeshua's final Passover meal on that evening , did he then die the following day¿¿
So for this year Mon 22 is the start , so did he die on Tuesday and rose again on Friday¿

Cute! We start with a ton of appetizers and limit the service to an hour or the natives get restless. In the words of my late father, "If a Jew doesn't eat every two hours, he'll die." Happy Passover to all!

Humor is so important but this Passover calls more for offering hope and empathy to all impacted by the tragedy that began 10/7/23. There are the families of the hostages who are grieving, the Palestinians who are being starved by Hamas blocking the delivery of aid and the world at large facing enormous uncertainty. 🙏🏻💙

This is an atheist's interpretation of Passover. If you just read Exodus around chapter 15-20 I want to think, it overtly explains that Passover comes from when the Lord told Moses to tell the Israelites to mark their doors with lambs blood so the lord will 'pass over' you when he strikes on every first born in the land of Egypt. Do your research next time CBS.

Jews in the US are no more responsible for the actions of the Israeli government than Christians in the US are. It is no more ‘tone deaf’ for American Jews to observe Passover this week than it was for American Christians to observe and celebrate Easter a few weeks ago.

  • @CBTKansas

Jesus' Last Summer was NOT a Seder! The Seder did not become in practice until after his death. Jesus surely celebrated Passover by offering the commanded Passover Sacrifice. After the destruction of the Temple, we could no longer offer sacrifices and the seder was created as a substitute. Please don't spread this misinformation.

You don't fast for Passover. You forego baked goods that rise via leavening to commemorate that the Jews had to escape too quickly for their bread to rise. That is why matzoh unleavened bread, is eaten.

That’s not what the Bible says. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Big difference. And religion in itself is not evil, it is sinful humans who have evil desires to corrupt truth. And anything that strays from the truth, being Jesus as the Way the Truth and the Life, is evil.
