This man has a GREAT HBO special
It's interesting that some Christians think the classic film, The Ten Commandments, is about them when it's about Passover and the birth of Judaism.
Well a lot of people get things wrong about a lot of things. 🤷🏼♀️ What are ya gonna do??😉
The only Passover meal shown being practiced in scripture is by Jesus in the New Testament: the last supper.
Happy passover to all brothers and sisters in Israel and all over the world
Happy Passover everyone
Lol. Happy passover, y'all from oklahoma. Peace!❤
Happy Passover & peace to you!
Happy Passover
I remember going to my Aunt and Uncles Seder when I was little. We didn't eat until around 10:30pm.
Yeah seders just go on forever when you're younger.
Oy!
His one man show on Max is amazing.
Happy Passover ✝️ Blessed to all of you 🔥💜
May I ask if someone sees this... After Yeshua's final Passover meal on that evening , did he then die the following day¿¿
So for this year Mon 22 is the start , so did he die on Tuesday and rose again on Friday¿
Cute! We start with a ton of appetizers and limit the service to an hour or the natives get restless. In the words of my late father, "If a Jew doesn't eat every two hours, he'll die." Happy Passover to all!
Bless the Jews let them have peace
@UncleSam- Agreed 🙏🏼

This is so heartwarming to read, thank you ❤️
Amen
Humor is so important but this Passover calls more for offering hope and empathy to all impacted by the tragedy that began 10/7/23. There are the families of the hostages who are grieving, the Palestinians who are being starved by Hamas blocking the delivery of aid and the world at large facing enormous uncertainty. 🙏🏻💙
Absolutely so true and well-spoken! 🙏 It is passed over beginning this evening and I think the whole week should be taking seriously and observed and reverence to to God and Jesus Christ Our Savior and thank God for the Holy Spirit the third part of the trinity. 🙏
I learned so much! And it was fun! Thanks! Happy Passover!
Its good to know about the Jewish tradition.Thanks.😊
Gd bless the children of Judea 💙💙💙
A wonderful tradition even Netanyahu can't ruin.
Lll
OMG... you are so funny...and SO RIGHT about everything you said. Thank you! (I'm gonna go eat a snack right now...before the seder starts!) Love this!
Not a tradition. It's what happened. The angel of God passed over Egypt and killed many people. That's why it's called Passover.
He's way too snarky
Insufferable. He had the opportunity to say something funny and poignant about the most emotionally fraught Passover Jews have experienced since the Holocaust, and he instead gave z-level “Comedy Night at the JCC” universalized shlock.
This is an atheist's interpretation of Passover. If you just read Exodus around chapter 15-20 I want to think, it overtly explains that Passover comes from when the Lord told Moses to tell the Israelites to mark their doors with lambs blood so the lord will 'pass over' you when he strikes on every first born in the land of Egypt. Do your research next time CBS.
So you mock passover with a comic. How do you think that will be judged in Heaven? Shame on all of you.
Love him. AND this is so tragically tone deaf given the forced famine of an entire people by many who are celebrating this holiest of times.
Blame Hamas, Islamism, and corrupt Palestinian leadership.
or perhaps, it shows that the jews are indigenous to the land. $5 says during eid you never once commented on a muslim person's page "hey, while you're celebrating the end of ramadan, could you maybe ask hamas to free the hostages?" i bet you didn't. hypocrite.
Jews in the US are no more responsible for the actions of the Israeli government than Christians in the US are. It is no more ‘tone deaf’ for American Jews to observe Passover this week than it was for American Christians to observe and celebrate Easter a few weeks ago.
Jesus' Last Summer was NOT a Seder! The Seder did not become in practice until after his death. Jesus surely celebrated Passover by offering the commanded Passover Sacrifice. After the destruction of the Temple, we could no longer offer sacrifices and the seder was created as a substitute. Please don't spread this misinformation.
"Jesus' ", not "Jesuses". 🙄
I'm a Christian who attends a weekly Torah class. I am offended that this program would use Pesach to make fun of a traditions old sacred festival. I have no trouble making fun of various interesting and challening observances, but not during the actual time of those observances.
So do you have to fast before Passover? Like early in the day? If not go get so Pizza before dinner. With Cauliflower Crust of course.👍🏼😉🍕Ok no Pepperoni!!!💖
You don't fast for Passover. You forego baked goods that rise via leavening to commemorate that the Jews had to escape too quickly for their bread to rise. That is why matzoh unleavened bread, is eaten.
This guy trivialized Seder
I agree. Humor is great...Maniscalco does a fantastic Passover act but this wasn't the time or the place for this segment. It should've had more meaning...
WELL DONE 🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱✡️✡️🌎🌎🌎🌞🌞☀️💐Good PESACH SAMEACH....Shalom, ☮️☮️☮️
They say money is the root of all evil……I say it’s RELIGION.
That’s not what the Bible says. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. Big difference. And religion in itself is not evil, it is sinful humans who have evil desires to corrupt truth. And anything that strays from the truth, being Jesus as the Way the Truth and the Life, is evil.
@@elleddiana ……tell that to both sides fighting in wars, with thousands and thousands (if not millions!) of deaths in the Middle East for millennia!! 🤷🏼♂️🙄🤷🏼♂️👎🏻
A bit cavalier for my taste, considering the growling tummies worldwide, especially in Gaza. But I respect the tradition.
Blame Hama, Islamism, and corrupt Palestinian leadership.
Did you demand last month that Christians refrain from having Easter dinners and other observances due to ‘growling tummies worldwide’?
Alex is my cousin; we're from a deeply Zionist family and while I don't know Alex's specific viewpoints, he seems to be trying to stay as neutral as possible these days. It's a difficult thing to navigate, though not nearly as difficult as what the Palestinians are suffering through.
@@etanaedelman9011 Blame Hamas, Islamism, and corrupt Palestinian leadership.
Usually, Edelman is pretty funny, but in this case, no. Some things, like the meaning of Passover, or here -- the Seder plate -- should not be stripped into satire. Leave sacred things alone.
YES!! Totally agree.
Let all who are hungry eat…while the people in Gaza starve. Ugh, how embarrassing.
God Bless Israel 🇮🇱
I like jews but dont like when they make fun of Christians like this man just did. What Jesus the Messiah did for us isnt a joke.
I'm a proud Christian and wasn't offended whatsoever by what he said . Furthermore, your comment "I like jews but" sounds cringe.
@@peterdarker1 It isnt cringe bc its the truth. Just bc you like someone doesnt mean theyre perfect. They do make fun of Christians and many disrespect them too.
@@bbygrlpt2 at least they don't have a history of murdering tens of thousands of y'all . for many sundry reasons. like 'deicide' [sic]
He didn’t make fun of Christians. He didn’t even talk about them or Jesus
@@michellebetman7276 So you havent watched the vid
Not funny at all.
You say, "let anyone who is hungry come eat"!
I wonder if your Semitic brothers and sisters, Palestinian famine victims are welcome to eat!
Somehow I think they are an exception.
I wonder when some will stop comparing this recent situation to the actual Holocaust. You know the one I mean. A lot more than 30K were killed.
Why would you "think" that? Are you implying that he's anti-Palestinian?
Blame Hamas, Islamism, and corrupt Palestinian leadership.
No, they are not. Let them reflect of their Hamas leadership that got them wherever they are.
due to the halachic parameters of cooking on yom tov, gentiles are not allowed to be invited to yom tov meals. shabbat, when cooking is forbidden , is a differnet story ... [of course non-halachic jews are not aware of these restrictions. so ask them to invite blood thirsty arabs to their seders... ]
Happy Passover
