@@jtm232556 all the proof you need is right here at the 2:52 mark. That #15 on the ducks who skated over after the hit.. (Trying to be the heroic type), he should've been a dead duck. And i'm pretty sure he knew he was gonna be a dead duck. But did buff put him on a stretcher? No. Cause he's a gentlemen. He knew that #15 guy didnt have a chance in hell. I don't really have any issues with many of these hits. Yes some are penalties but like the gazdic and stone one, those are completely clean in my book. Defensemen are supposed to protect both blue lines and that means throwing the shoulder. If a player like stone is looking back and lowered down, its not on the hitter to not hit him, its the hittee that needs to get their head up. Big Buff is an old style defensemen. No player ever spent so much time in the box for clean, perfect shoulder to shoulder hits.

I never knew about this guy (Buff) Byfuglien until recently. Somebody made a short video about him and I happened to watch it and then watched more videos and looked him up and read a little bit about him.
    What a beast!

True Story - I was at the game where buff flattened stone. The irony is that stone's dad was sitting 2 rows in front of me and was complaining how buff is a dirty player and that hit deserved suspension. Clearly stone's dad was just trying to protect his son but buff's hit was 100% clean.

Great video but that hit on Stone is #1 in my book. Rocked!

He’s not even a dirty player, very rarely should he actually get a penalty. He just so strong

I loved Buff when he played for the Blackhawks but I used to think he went a little overboard on some of his hits.
However after watching this video I gotta say, every one of these were INTENTIONALLY clean, even if they ended up causing damage UNINTENTIONALLY. Literally every hit he keeps his arms down, doesn't leave his feet before contact, always targets the shoulder or chest, just solid clean hits
Hell you can even see when he was fighting w/the guy on Columbus in the last one, Buff just pulled the guys jersey over his head to basically pin him. It was like he didn't want to fight just bc he threw a clean hit. But rather than teach the guy a lesson & potentially hurt him badly, he decided to just neutralize him until the ref broke it up.
He's just an NFL defensive end in the NHL, he's what JJ Watt woulda been if he chose hockey over football 🤷🏼‍♂️

You can tell that Big Buff is letting up when he’s hitting. If he goes full force, he would straight up crush these dudes into the next century.

Without a doubt, he is the best thing to ever happen to the winnipeg jets. He is a freight train, but yet, mostly a gentlemen about it. I really hope his ankle recovers. He has easily been my favourite player since i first discovered him in 2010 when he won the cup in chicago 👍

Im a Wild fan but Byfuglien is one of my absolute favorite players. Hits like a truck but he does it clean and just comes off as such a nice guy even though he could probably murder everybody.
