Carwow is a joke of channel, its for little kids. To this day they havent done a real roll race, the roll race they do is heavily flawed n is not showing the true potential of cars. N that drag race stuff is for bad drivers and fake car guys, no real driver cares about that anyways.

You should feel ashamed for charging so much in the US. Porsche could easily register gt car owners so we’d get first crack at the new one . But instead Porsche lets the dealers ignore the previous owner so they can sell to the lawyer who wants a status symbol. He pays $150,000 over MSRP. He hates the ride sells it back to the dealer so he can sell it again to another lawyer. It never gets to the enthusiast. For the first time the GT3 is MORE in the US than Canada. Imagine the dollar is worth $1,30 of Canadian but it’s cheaper in Canada. That means Porsche is doing a huge cash grab in the US. So after 25 years of 911s and 3 GT3s I’m done. For Ferrari McLaren or Lamborghini money I’ll buy a Ferrari McLaren or Lamborghini.

    • @AverageCarGuy

@12:48 , As far as small changes go, BMW did the same thing with the LCI M3. They changed the dashboard to a curved display, removed physical buttons to lower their build cost, gave it a light tune, a few different options/accessories, and said here you go, pay us 10k more. Which is why I am keep mine, (enjoying it but keeping mileage low), until I can afford the 911 I want. And finally, that hot lap in the damp dark shows you the difference between a seasoned vet vs. everyday road warrior, made it look so easy.

The only thing that has my interest is the 8% shorter gearing. That has to impact the acceleration and they are not letting that information out in a way that it is known. I have a feeling it is going to do 0-60 in less than 3 seconds when they allow real testing to happen with the media.

It’s no longer interesting because many EVs can do that now.

Unless you have small children then the rear seats are an absolute waste of time, ditto for all 911’s, hence the Cayman can be the better car.

So the new front carbon seats are a tribute to the M3/M4 buckets...

I'm thinking that I'm more drawn now to the 992.2 GTS T-Hybrid now after the launch of the GT3 cars. The T-Hybrid is faster, cheaper and offers more versatility and you get the back seats as a no cost option. I am not a pretend race car driver and if I spent that much money for a car, i don't think I'll risk taking it on the track. The GTS T-Hybrid is enough car for grand touring and daily use and if taken to the track, it will more than keep up with or embarrass the GT3 cars.

I wonder if Porsche will ever bring out a longer wheel base or even a shooting break version or style 911 with identical front and rear ends to the 911, that is actually a real 4 seater 🤔

without the wing, it looks bald like a frog. Feels weird that a GT3 looks less agressive than a Turbo/Turbo S and even Carrera S. Should've at least give it a smaller wing like on Turbo/Turbo S or a ducktail like on Carrera S
