This is a thing of beauty. I was obsessed with dinos as a kid, and now the articles about them having feathers is renewing my interest. Thanks for this gorgeous piece of work!
I love how with these animations it really hits you how large some of these creatures were. A stagnant diagram doesn't give you that. Great job to whoever makes these
I have some, this is a reality made by me. In my shed, it takes you to reality where the world is beautiful. Dinosaurs as pets no such thing as poor, earth is great!
This is the best dinosaur size comparison I have seen yet, but it would have been better if they would had their names next to them and also I seriously doubt that some of those long necked dinosaurs, had necks that thick...
Pro: Animations were amazing Con: can never tell how big that actually were because they always placed their feet down at a knee height from the human figure
Nice job on creating the dinosaurs! It was easy to recognise Albertosaurus from Allosaurus from the shape of the head and the location of the boney bumps on their head.
6:30 Can you imagine a life-sized walking animatronic Argentinosaurus like the ones from the "Walking with Dinosaurs" arena show? That would be awesome.
Fun fact: Sauropods didn't even chew on their twigs and leaves often as they don't really mastitate their food compared to Ornithischians. Although a poor way to get nutrients, it's less time consuming to eat 800 lb of ferns, cycads and Aracauria pines with less chewing, and that's why they can grow into big sizes.
Grilled Hot Dogs With Sauerkraut Recipe 1 (1-pound; 450g) package sauerkraut, with juices 2 pounds (900g) natural-casing all-beef hot dogs (such as Boar's Head or Dietz & Watson) Buns and brown mustard, for serving Light 1 chimney full of charcoal. When all charcoal is lit and covered with gray ash, pour out and arrange coals on one side of charcoal grate. Set cooking grate in place, cover grill, and allow to preheat for 5 minutes. Alternatively, set half the burners on a gas grill to the highest heat setting, cover, and preheat for 10 minutes. Clean and oil grilling grate.
JesusisREAL lizards snakes and gators are very. Very VERY distantly related to dinosaurs. In fact snakes and lizards have basically nothing to do with Dino's. Meanwhile birds ARE dinosaurs and fossil evidence shows feathers in dinosaurs.
Dinosaur of the day 06.25.: Leptoceratops Name: Leptoceratops Name meaning: Armored Chunk-Face Height: 3 ft. Lenght: 5 ft. Weight: 696 lbs Habitat: United States Period: Late Cretaceous Menu: Leaves, plants, bugs Gen: Ceratopsia This dinosaur was the small cousin of Udanoceratops and the bigger cousin of Microceratops.
Awesome job! I would like to give you some tips: the man should walk always at the same "level" of the dinos, whose names should appear in the video, and you could insert metres and feet references to the left and right of the video, in order to give a better perspective of their size.
I love how creative you are in reconstructing the dinosaurs to show the possible biodiversity that would be visible, kinda like what you would see in birds
A turkey, huh? OK, try to imagine yourself in the Cretaceous Period. You get your first look at this "six foot turkey" as you enter a clearing. He moves like a bird, lightly, bobbing his head. And you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement like T-Rex - he'll lose you if you don't move. But no, not Velociraptor. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other two raptors you didn't even know were there. Because Velociraptor's a pack hunter, you see, he uses coordinated attack patterns and he is out in force today. And he slashes at you with this... A six-inch retractable claw, like a razor, on the the middle toe. He doesn't bother to bite your jugular like a lion, say... no no. He slashes at you here, or here... Or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines. The point is, you are alive when they start to eat you. So you know, try to show a little respect.
Dinosaur of the day 06.24.: Lythronax Name: Lythronax Name meaning: Of Lythron (Pennsylvania) Height: 5m Length: 11m Weight: 7 tons Habitat: Washington,Pennsylvania,Utah,Alabama and Colorado Period: Late Cretaceous Menu: Saurolophus,Ankylosaurus,Parasaurolophus,Triceratops,Edmontosaurus Gen: Therapoda This dinosaur was go to the Tyrannosauridae family, but she was smaller then Tyrannosaurus.
+Paleozoic hence why this dinosour's habitat was in the water and not in land. scientists had to face alot of oposing ideas but everything else about spino suggests aquatic i would suppose its front legs didnt need to support his weight or at least not for very long periods of time
Actually it was debunked and the skeleton reconstruction confirmed as Kimmera. They used baryonyx, suchomimus and other dinosaur species, also spinosaur parts. Then it was confirmed bipedal yet its height was reduced and is a size near to a carcharodontosaurus.
@@EricaStrunk76 Yeah, I should've figured out that the video is some years old. On the other hand, the _Titanosaurus_ is the type genus of the clade Titanosauria, but it's actually pretty small compared to other species in the clade: it's estimated to be 9-12 meters long and weighted 13 tons. The _Argentinosaurus_ is estimated in 30-35 meters and 60-80 tons, whilst the _Patagotitan_ specimen is said to be 37 meters and 75 tons (and it's thought than this was a young individual, so fully grown adults might have been even larger).
4:42 Spinosaurus still probably walked on all fours, but the model you're using is outdated. The legs were from another dinosaur, so the back legs of the dinosaur were longer. It's still a fairly recent model though, and the sail is not only 100% correct but appreciated as well! :D
Rj the image shows exactly how it walks on both legs, I’ll explain Spinosaurus could walk on both due to its centre of gravity on its hind legs, however it’s length contributed to its from leg placement as well it’s capable of walking and running on both 4 and 2 legs.
love the video except how tall is the person!! it's hard to truly imagine the height comparison without knowing the persons height. i get that they're almost surely somewhere between 5 and 6 feet, but still the specifics would make it all the more emmersive! but since humans most commonly range withikn a foot or so of each other i'll just go with a common height :) also if they were level it'd help, but i get it's easier to see this way so again, i can easily mentally take off a few inches or use this to imagine standing near them like this video! love the depictions of the dinos! thanks for making this!
These kids saying "T.Rex didn't have feathers" and "Spinosaurus was bipedal" should stop using Jurassic Park and 15 years-old documentaries as "evidence". Estos niños dicen que "T.Rex no tenía plumas" y "Spinosaurus era bípedo" debería dejar de usar Jurassic Park y documentales de 15 años como "evidencia".
If you're interested in a zoo/park manager game with more realistic depictions of dinosaurs (including feathers!) and other prehistoric animals. Check out Prehistoric Kingdom; they launched on Kickstarter last week. They also have a free demo on Steam right which will get a big update (including more dinosaurs) very soon.
Martok: You are either very brave...or VERY STUPID, FERENGI! Nog: Probably a little bit of both, sir. Martok: (intimidating growl, then boisterous laughter) Courage comes in all sizes...but don't tempt fate. Qi'gaS...

Awesome job! I would like to give you some tips: the man should walk always at the same "level" of the dinos, whose names should appear in the video, and you could insert metres and feet references to the left and right of the video, in order to give a better perspective of their size.
Arts finally someone it all in one comment
If you need their names, look in the description. My only problem is microraptor comes before compsognathus but the description says otherwise.
Gotta put in annotations!
Yes, thank you Arts. Tracking down the names is time consuming.
The only thing I got annoyed by was the level thing, because it makes the dinos seem much bigger.

3:50 that’s a giant turkey.

Actually it was debunked and the skeleton reconstruction confirmed as Kimmera. They used baryonyx, suchomimus and other dinosaur species, also spinosaur parts. Then it was confirmed bipedal yet its height was reduced and is a size near to a carcharodontosaurus.

@@SnipermanElite it was made 4 years ago
@@SnipermanElite the video was made before it was discovered, also the Titanasaur is now the largest to be discovered.

HelixMaster12 that aint real
www.skeletaldrawing.com/home/theres-something-fishy-about-spinosaurus9112014 doubt it walked on all fours.
HelixMaster12 Is it Sigilmassasaurus?
Rj the image shows exactly how it walks on both legs, I’ll explain Spinosaurus could walk on both due to its centre of gravity on its hind legs, however it’s length contributed to its from leg placement as well it’s capable of walking and running on both 4 and 2 legs.
Spinosaurus was bipedal

+Dane Pavitt Oh ok lol
love the video except how tall is the person!! it's hard to truly imagine the height comparison without knowing the persons height. i get that they're almost surely somewhere between 5 and 6 feet, but still the specifics would make it all the more emmersive! but since humans most commonly range withikn a foot or so of each other i'll just go with a common height :) also if they were level it'd help, but i get it's easier to see this way so again, i can easily mentally take off a few inches or use this to imagine standing near them like this video!
love the depictions of the dinos! thanks for making this!
