That was definitely a BIG hit that Mitt Romney took in the 2nd Presidential Debate when Candy Crowley fact-checked him in front of the entire country.
The better part is that she's wrong. Obama said in the speech about the attack that the United States doesn't allow "acts of terror" to shake its resolve. He never said "terrorism." A journalist pointed out that it he wouldn't use that word and asked him point blank if it was a terrorist act, Obama responded by saying that they didn't know for sure. No, he referred to it as an "act of terror". He was there to talk about the attack, that's what he was discussing, so clearly he was referring to it as an act of terror. The way you are seeing it is the same as him saying "No basketball loss will bring us down," which is completely ridiculous. He was there to talk about the attack; he called it an "act of terror". Obama was correct in the debate.

For those asking what the rose garden part was about, Romney was correcting Obama. Obama said he called the attack a.terrorist attack the day after...which he did not. He simply mentioned the phrase "acts of terror will not be tolerated"....but just in a general sense. It took him a couple weeks to officially declare it was in fact a terrorist attack...Romney was just pointing that out...and the moderator was incorrect as well, giving America this 'zinger' which was actually against Obama...
