I think we do live in peace. Most of the trouble and turmoil you see in the news is sensationalism. Being content is a frame of mind that is easily broken by the cares of the world. Ignore the world and live within yourself.
I learn so much much about animals from videos like this. There is still so much to learn about animals and their depth and understanding. Everybody needs friendship.
"As animals do". Well no, they wouldn't do this in the wild - this is only happening because a human has tamed them both. In wild cats attack sheep and eat them.
This is touching but not surprising to me, having grown up in rural Yorkshire, where you can regularly see small birds sitting on big dogs' heads etc, all perfectly normal, but AMAZING to 'townies'.. Thinking about it, it's MORE surprising, tho of course common, that cats befriend dogs.. Lovely, this. Nice one! 🌟👍
Fifty years ago, my parents started a smallholding in west Wales, with sheep, goats, geese, chickens, cats and dogs. Occasionally turkeys and guinea fowl too. Here I am in Canada, wishing I could go back to that time and place...

My sheep loved cats I have noticed that all prey animals love cats. They see dogs as predators and it usually takes time to warm to them or at least tolerate them.
